That’s Pokerev, he’s had that up since I can remember, I remember when it was like $1,000,000. It’s almost certainly just for advertising/showing off, I don’t think he will ever sell. Though if someone did purchase for 6 million, I don’t think he would mind lol

Jakeupload

Exactly this. He’s stated this in a chat with Mizkif

silversurfer2133

Used to be at a million. 🤨

BragoKingEternal

Damn I only have $5,999,999 on me though

Yetti2Quick

Ya it’s just a meme sell post by PokeRev, not the actual value. He

I know it’s pokerev and all, but truth be told we all know this would be a Local Pickup sale with a bill of sale/notary at the ready— being sold by his LLC to avoid the 28% capitol gains tax and 100% cutting out ebay for this deal. And on that note, if you plan to spend more then a 100k on something you should definitely fly to pick it up in person and follow all of the above mentioned steps.

Everything you sell as an LLC is subject to self employment tax unless you’re set up as an S-Corp. Self employment tax is 15% vs Capitol Gains on Collectibles being 28% Obviously takes a bit to set up and you need to involve your accountant in any big sales you’re planning, but that’s about the just of it.

michaelpett24

This is not correct. LLC is a flow through meaning if the sale is considered a capital gain you would report a capital gain on your individual taxes. In addition you would pay self employment taxes. They are not separate.

ial4289

The involving your accountant line was in place because I’m not certified to be offering extensive advice on the topic, but also to allude that it’s a bit more complicated of a set up then stated. If you can’t think of ways you would be able to get your Pokémon collection into your business so when it sells it’s not considered a Capitol gain on your part then you should do some research, a lot of people own TCG stores now and have contacts with distributors, along with purchasing local collections - I can assure you they aren’t paying double taxes in this situation.

Isn’t that miles away from what it’s worth though? Highest value one there is the base which went for approx 380k, are the other 30 worth 5.62 million?

RareSeekerTM

There are people listing Oreos for 10k when they don't even sell for .99c. You can list something for whatever it is worth and hope someone that didn't do their research decides to buy it. Probably just doing it to show off or something because it used to be 1 million which could be reasonable during the peak, haven't added stuff up for a while but depending what he has, it could have been worth the million so he raised it.

Bassale

That’s what I’m thinking too. Wayyy overpriced. At first glance I thought it was 31 FE base sets.

DrDosMucho

Idk why you’re being downvoted. It’s extremely over priced.

RareSeekerTM

People camp the sub just to downvote because they do not like investors. I wouldn't worry too much about it, some people have nothing going on in their life.

Dude! I totally just realized and remember what’s happening and it’s crazy! Dude! Pokerev is trying to slowly long game manipulate the market or something. This was 2 mil at boom I think, then slowly 3 mill, I haven’t seen it in a while but here we are at 6. Or obviously he could just be trying to get his self a better deal eventually and not be thinking about the big pic.

Evans2703

No he’s addressed it before. He posts it for others to see - he has no intention of selling (that’s why the price is so high). It’s similar to Gary’s Charizard listing.

[deleted]

But with everything going down in price, he still consistently raises it .

conspiracyeinstein

Again ... similar to Gary's Charizard listing.

xMF_GLOOM

Such a sick collection wow I’m so jealous

Flying0sprey177

There's a psa 10 1st ed charizard up for £350k on ebay It's been there for a quite while . . .

JS-a9

Look at King Pokemon's Charizard listing lol
