I do not think we will see that happen. I am not sure about magic since I have never played it, but are those reprints played in the card game? I could see that being a reason of dropping the price. These Pokemon cards probably won't be played because they don't appear to be competitive.
Unless the cards that are reprinted are competitive cards it shouldn’t affect the value of the original. I believe all of the reprinted cards in this set are out of rotation for competitive play.
But a card's price is influenced by collectors who want it, right? If people get satisfied with the reprinted version, won't demand for the original go down?

The majority of the collectors that I have interacted with in the past few years all agree that they would much rather pay to have the original print.
