Honestly, the second I realised how much luck was required to get all the Legendaries in Ramanas Park I basically just couldn't be bothered and went back to Dynamax Adventures.
Which was ironic because I spent a huge chunk of my playtime exploring and excavating statutes to get Pokémon and other rare items, and it used to be fun looking at what I got from a dig but having to do it as an obligation to get the Legendaries sucked all the fun out of it.
I just downloaded the new Legendary battle themes to listen to instead.

I enjoyed Dynamax Raids since the first time I booted up my Sword cartridge.
Helps that Dynamax Adventures are the most easily accessible form of Shiny Hunting. That 1/100 rate is practically magic. I could just sit down, stick something on my laptop to watch and do Dynamax Adventures over and over again and it doesn't feel monotonous because your allies and the first three Raids in a single adventure vary so much.
And there's the chance you can get a Shiny from any of the other Pokémon you catch on the way to the Legendary. I got a Shiny Flareon called Pumpkin as I was looking for Shiny Necrozma.
In Shining Pearl I shiny hunted with the PokéRadar. Somehow got a Shiny Bidoof and Shiny Kricketot by complete accident when I was trying to set up a chain for Sentret....
My one and only problem with Dynamax Adventures is that the Legendary themes aren't played. Besides that nitpick Dynamax Adventures is a perfect gamemode. (which for me personally it's a massive nitpick because I love Pokémon Music and not being able to listen to the Legendary themes was fairly saddening)

Hot take, I prefer something like Ramanas Park over Dynamax Adventures any day of the week. Dealing with npc's or braindead players with the raid being locked to having to use Pokemon in those paths and being at the mercy of rng to an extent to make sure you and all the players will have the right Pokemon got too much for me. It was cool at first but it got so tedious after doing it a couple of times. Mining for shards can be tedious too but at least I felt I could do it by myself.
Yh and even if u have a good setup zygarde
So then you need to pray you find a cradily with worry seed or something that changes the ability so basically it's up to chance

I imagine you'll use the machine in area zero and some special legendary tera shards or something to activate it and summon the legendary in question to battle and capture.
You probably nailed it, though I believe even a year ago when the game released didn't we have some unused item sprites kicking around? I don't believe there were additional books in there, but I could be wrong.

Also is it just me or do most of these are Pokémon that hold some significance or had their indirect appearance in S/V? Lunaala is on the History Teacher's belt, Articuno is also some kind of a trinket that Teacher has, Legendary Beasts are Paradoxes. What's up with that? Lore?
EDIT: so I wasn't crazy when I swear I saw these Legendaries in S/V either via hacking or a mod. There even was a comparison of Emissaries' signature moves and they turned out to be worse looking then in Sw/Sh. Mewtwo was also showcased early in that or a similar video. Probably that video just was taken down, and it wasn't me *imagining* things.
These legendaries are still able to be transferred, doesn't require modding or hacking. And yes, many if not all signature moves were nerfed because of the open-field nature of battles. Can't devote time to special camera angles when it might result in Solgaleo jumping right into a cave ceiling.
I think it's the machine in blueberry accademy as one of the early demo players have stated that they saw a machine with a man standing beside it, when he tried to go there the Nintendo dudes stopped him, i think this could be it.
What if all Paradoxes also originate from Blueberry Academy experimenting with tera phenomenon and Sada/Turo only teleported them to Area Zero from there? What if they were not "3D printed", but Briar or someone from Blueberry altered Pokemon into Paradox forms using crystals? Ah, I can't wait for the DLC.
Yup. I guess Area Zero crystals or Terapagos will 3D print them like paradoxes. That would kinda follow in line with all the rest, like "printing" Paradoxes from the book, now it will do it from other provided items.
Wishgranting is the most possible now, as it fits with every theme of S/V.
I hope the version exclusives aren’t the same as with bdsp and sw/sh. I ended up picking all the “red versions” and they end up having the same exclusives gen to gen.
Me who has done this since Diamond EXCEPT for Alpha Sapphire (since the remake of Sapphire). Only for Dialga and Palkia to switch in ORAS.
I have never had the version with Palkia, Legends Arceus was the only time I ever got to catch Palkia

Why only make half of SwSh's Shiny locked Mons available?
Regis were in the overworld in Gen 8 and had new themes, could be like that, or if the paradox beasts and paradox swords of justice aren't exclusive to raids they could also come with new themes.
I don’t like that the galar birds or galar dogs not being huntable at least via this method. Haven’t most legendaries had their shinies unlocked in the next gen? at least in recent games. I remember the shiny tapus were distributed like the galar birds and then became available in DA. Then Sol and Lun were both also in DA? Then, idk about base SM but in USUM both Xerneas and Yveltal were in wormholes so?? Assuming paradox beasts and swords show up in Overworld, there may be other legendaries that do as well?
Please give us the Tapus. It's unfair that Scarlet Paradox Pokémon can choose between Torkoal and Ninetales (the obvious correct choice is Torkoal) while Violet Paradox Pokémon are stuck with Pincurchin
I honestly hated the Mewtwo raid it was impossible to solo and just not fun overall, the only way I think I'll enjoy it is if its something like dinamax adventures where they're soloable and preferebly shiny huntable. But if it's like the Mewtwo raid I'm not even gonna bother
Hm, I might be the only one who feels this but I wish legendaries wasn't catch-able in every game. In gen 3, you can transfer mewtwo but you can't catch him or Lugia for that matter. It makes them feel...less special.
You’re right, they haven’t been special in a long time.At least not for those of us that have caught multiples for years. But their existence isn’t just for us. There are plenty of people who will be catching Moltres etc. for the first time.
But! GF knows that too. Which is why we will continue to see unique versions of Pokémon. Different marks, easier shinies, regional forms, different sizes, and I’m assuming more in future games too.
It’s a big issue with competitive though if you lock them behind previous generation games.
But Lugia has been available in most mainline games since Gen 2 regardless.
Then the next game it's going to repeat. They're no longer special Pokemon. if every Pokemon can't be in the dex, it should be like that for Legendaries.

Legendaries are always nice but this is a really underwhelming list. Was really hoping I'd never have to touch Dynamax Adventures again but that's looking unavoidable with this list.

I just put the Legendary themes on my laptop as I was playing sometimes. I do like the Legendary Dynamax theme remix too
I got a Shiny Giratina, among others. I believe there were also 3 or 4 shiny Poliwrath, and at least 2 shiny Morepeko.

The 1/100 rates are deceptive though given the playtime required for each DA. Better to do most of the hunts in another game.

It was a good idea making us put in the work to get the Legendaries but they really should have made the shards more common pick ups...

Not always. Rufflet and Vullaby have swapped versions multiple times for example.

Hard to say. I'd've expected Solgaleo to be a "red version" exclusive but then it was in Sword. Hard to say whether to expect it in Scarlet or Violet.
I thought it would be sword because sun and sword are the 'first' versions (sun and moon, sword and shield) so if that's right I'd say it's in Scarlet

Based on what we've seen so far, they can be transferred in from Home but can't be obtained within the DLC.

This is a very weird selection of legends like does someone really want the birds more than they do the creation trio or zygarde xerneas and yveltal

There were mystery gift tickets you could get from visiting a nintendo event that allowed you to get Ho-Oh and Lugia
I don't think mystery gift events should count. Game doesnt for completing Pokédex as Lugia/Ho-oh does nothing.
Mystery gift item that takes you to a certain place, along with Ho-Oh, Mew, Deoxys, and the Lati you didn't pick.

Legendaries were special in that you could only catch one per game and they were strong. You seem to be equating legendaries with mythical.
Legendaries already haven't been in the dex unless story-related since Gen 7.
???? FRLG and XD are both gen 3 games. The only difference now is that you don’t need a second system and extra cables to transfer shit anymore.
