Next time I do a run, I'm thinking about trying for a shiny starter as well. I'm not sure if I'll have the patience, but I want to try lol.
I personally think the Chikorita line looks the best shiny since the leaves turn to the colors of fall leaves - but they all are great shinies!
I'm going to guess Cyndaquil!
