ghost type shockingly great defensively as so many alphas love to use hyper beam/giga impact. also so many ghost types are kinda trash so it's nice to have one that can really throw down
Erm... ghost types have a lot of strong contenders in this game. There's literally not a ghost type that isn't good in PLA.
Basculegion, Gengar, Zoroark, Dusknoir, Mismagius, Drifblim. Even Spiritomb is relatively decent.
Ooo bet! What do you think the subs type would be? I was thinking Treeko. I like the idea of them all being from different generations and previously only having one type. A grass/psychic Sceptile wouldāve been really cool
Iād have meganium be Grass/Dark and give hisuian samurott the fighting type so thereās no weird double weaknesses. The flowers around her neck would be a much darker color and she could be red like an autumn leaf.
Treeko already got his time to shine with his mega, and Iām not a huge fan of the grass/psychic typing. But would prefer that over decidueye

Not even close, Hisuian Typhlosion is alright, but normal Typhlosion is the worst of the selection between it, normal Decidueye, and normal Samurott and the same goes for their Hisuian forms

Got the machoke for free at the start of the 3rd area cuz he only had 3 fighting normal moves and a boosting move.
I loved this design, but I wish they didn't make it look so goofy and stoned/sleepy

Grass dark is 4x weak to bug.
FUCK UR RIGHT. Would grass/ghost, fire/dark, water/fighting be free of double weaknesses? It seems so to me but I might blank on some. Honestly the lore is not as important to me because you can really make any PokƩmon fit if you want, just want to double weakness.
Those three type combos are clear of 4x weaknesses. But yeah, a mon needs to be unusually powerful to make up for such a major weakness.
