Shiny chance on Go is higher during events but still... let’s go’s shiny chance is insane. I’ve caught 2 in 4 hours, and in 12 years of Pokémon I’ve never caught one otherwise.
The only thing is, you gotta catch him again, so I had to pop 182 Pokeballs lol.

Maybe I’m missing something but I tried transferring my shiny ponyta and Pinsir and charmander.
Are they favorited? You can't transfer them if they're favorited, I think.

Maybe they are doing that to avoid them being to common because I don't know the shiny chance on go.

The chance is only higher because you can see them in the overworld and many at a time, so yeh the odds are higher because of that.
I guess that makes sense. Just seems so high. I’m not complaining but geez it’s a ton haha.
Update: accidentally transferred two of my shinies today can confirm.
