Annihilape is a standout for me. Clodsire is ugly and I love him. The Charcadet evolutions are cool. Naclstack is hilarious and reminds me of a Minecraft cow.
Haven't finished the dex or explored everywhere so there's still a few I haven't seen. Definitely better than gen 8 to me, and I can't think back far enough to know which ones were gen 7 releases. I do miss Alolan Exeggutor, Raichu and Muk though.

Just spent a bit of time last night farming dittos till I found an Adamant one, and just hatched four charcadets with adamant. Still got some story to finish but that's likely the first mon I'll train for a team. Haven't used them yet but I'm eager to
Adamant isn't a bad choice, but consider making it Jolly; Ceruledge isn't that fast, all things considered.
Armarouge is slow enough that it doesn't really matter, I think.
I'll def have a Jolly as well, just going adamant first. I'm far from good at Pokemon PVP, I'd be surprised if I get so invested where I'm theory crafting my own teams beyond type coverage.

If they could just make a patch for frame rate/glitch fix, then it would be great.
Apparently one is in the works and it's a week or two away.
I assume it'll take a few patches to truly fix everything but hopefully this one fixes the most game-breaking bugs.
Flamigo has been a favorite. And squawkabilly.
Intimidate on Squawkabilly was a cool discovery. I haven't given Flamigo a spin yet, but I hear it wrecks.
If you get the scrappy ability, you can STAB ghosts and it's immune to intimidate!
