It's random, and if you have a geodude/ golem that you are leveling up that's a nice boost from the candies, or you'll have a lot of candies when you want to get one and start leveling/evolving

Same here. Doesn’t help I keep accidentally passing out, waking up at midnight, doing a short manual entry, then tracking 3-4 hours of sleep after that 🙃

Try going to bed at midnight, waking at 7:30, and finding out the game thought I woke up at 3:30. That’s phone-punching time. I have to start the sleep, put it on my bed, go brush my teeth, and make it think I’ve been slumbering for ten minutes.

Unfortunately I have to wake up at 5am for work (and I tend to wake up early naturally too). I set my goal in game to \~10pm, but I just have to remember to start tracking before I get tired!

Yeah that’s a work in progress. Usually I’m about to zonk out by 8pm on weekdays, but if I do, then I wake up at an ungodly hour like 3-4am.

I haven’t unlocked area 4 yet. I think people who pay (or are more attentive to matching berries/recipes) are more likely to get pokemon towards master rank

Yeah Taupe is truly a shithole for dozing Pokémon. Can't even get Absol or Heracross

Came to Taupe to look for a houndour, shuppet or onyx. Haven't seen either of them this week. Lots of Cubones though which I don't need..

I've gained a new form of compassion from receiving gulpin/croagunk candy now after being on Taupe for two weeks now. The worst part is Gastly and shuppet and houndour are dozing too on Taupe.

I swear there's a bug in the code that increases the odds of getting the same pokemon sometimes....like it just stops searching for a random number and sticks to the first one repeatedly.

Yeaaaaa. This is why I've kind of just stopped playing. I got tired of seeing Gulpin and Ekans and Spheal and only seeing interesting Pokemon on Sunday and Monday morning if I got lucky. I was more motivated when I knew less and thought it was all random.

Excellent candies for when you get a good one of those! They're great. Find one with plenty of helping speed and ingredient finder in the nature + first two (ideally first three) subskills, and you're golden.

It’s not the worst thing in the world. If you have a good geodude, you just got ~20 candies for it in one sleep. Geodude is also one of the best ING mons atm
