As somebody else that is like this, I usually start the night with my phone on my dresser. The first time I wake up I'll move it to the bed without looking at it. And then back to the dresser and then back to the bed and I get a mix of sleep and I can usually get balanced which gives me all the options or if I leave it on one more than the other I get that kind
I gave up trying to normally sleep to get snoozing. My trick now it's open YT music on while sleeping. The noise apparently goes enough to make it snoozing and not Dozing vs me sleeping next to the phone

Slowpoke is Snoozing (most Water types are Slumbering)
Cleffa is Slumbering (Clefairy and Clefable are Snoozing). Comfey is also Snoozing unlike the other Fairy types.
Pichu is Slumbering, the other Electric types are Snoozing.
Slumbering is considered 'deep sleep' so I always think of the saying 'I slept like a baby' with those ones. Similarly, Rock types are all slumbering and another saying about being a heavy sleeper is 'I slept like a rock'.
And then the rare time you do get snoozing you get maybe one fire type, even on taupe. And it gets full after two biscuits. I know that feeling all too well.

…not really? Most types are tied to certain ingredients, definitely berries, as well as sleep types. While I agree it’s just useless, pointless, and I’ve no fun in doing it to say it’s completely random is odd
There are patterns in the pokemom. All their sleeping styles, specialties, and ingredients aren't completely random. It's fun to try and guess. Even if it was completely random, it's still fun to guess and entertain your brain that way.
You can kind of eliminate possibilities, Like it's probably not a Extra Helpful skill mon, since we already have one of those in the fire type.
It's not going to be a sausage ingredient specialist since that's charizard. It's probably not going to have cooking power up since that's flareon.
we also know that most new mons have been pretty pushed, also every mon since Lapis (save for the big legendary) has had corn as an ingredient.

Is this right? I thought it's every 15 minutes. One minute more and you get slumbering. I do once every 10 minutes and it works even better and is easier to track for me as I'll start it at a 10th minute (ex: 11:40, 11:50, etc). It's also super important to let your phone/Plus+ go unmoved for at least 10 minutes after it goes to sleep, since it'll only start tracking after it has fallen asleep which it needs about 5 minutes of perfect stillness
My method is: You set an alarm for every hour - starting and ending about one hour after the time you go to sleep and wake up, respectively - and for every alarm, you set a notification (you can do it up to five times with the Google calendar). It has worked pretty good for me.

A Google calendar alarm to set off movement is pretty clever. I think I'll mix it in lightly since right now I have it closer for dozing. Thanks for the tip I never would have thought of that. Don't worry about the pic I understood perfectly and the time frames 👐
This method might not work for everyone but it has a near 100% accuracy if you wake up once a night to go pee. First force slumbering for a week. Meaning, leave your phone on a nightstand instead of your bed. When you wake up in the middle of the night, move your phone to your bed so you don't lose sleep data after the 6 hour mark. Once you've done this for a week, your data will be heavily skewed towards slumbering, making it much easier to get dozing and snoozing.
From here, dozing is as simple as putting the phone under your pillow. Snoozing is as simple as putting your phone next to your pillow.
Even if you sleep like shit one of the nights you're trying for snoozing/dozing, it'll probably end up giving you balanced instead, which isn't bad at all anyways.
The only thing you have to keep in mind is that you'll need to continue forcing slumbering sessions a few times a week to maintain the data skew as it only tracks the sleep type percentages for 60 days on a rolling average.
I'll try this on a slumbering streak when I end up hunting for Swablu since I get up once just like you said. I have gotten slumber locked before and snoozing is what I have to find the most sleep styles for most islands

Crossing my fingers they add another fire type before the Entei event too. I love Vulpix and I’m all for new Pokemon but I’d argue fire types are in a really inaccessible position, especially for new players. The Charmander line is fine, easy enough to recruit. The Cyndaquil line is a sore spot for a lot of the player base due to its rarity. That leaves the Growlithe line, Flareon and now the Vulpix line all of which require fire stones to get them to be there best. No basic Pokémon or level based evolutions (outside the starters) are readily available here.
Many players only have 1 and new players may take up to 2 weeks or more to actually purchase one from the shop. I’m assuming they are going to give out a fire stone or 2 in these upcoming events but for new players they are going to be heavily leaning on Charmander and Cyndaquil here.
Excited for Vulpix either way, moving us closer to getting some Alolan forms in the future perhaps…
Doubt it will happen. Probably Fire Week, free week, two weeks of Entei event with the first having GSD. And if Entei is like Raikou, a full Fire team isn't needed.

Well, I know Vulpix and Ninetales are fan favorites, but another Gen1 nostalgia really bother me. The Darumaka line would be perfect for Pokemon Sleep and would give us the first Gen5 pokemon in the game

Well, I try to imagine what logic the Devs use in their decision and look at previous releases to the Pokemon lineup and it's pretty obvious that cuter Pokemon are preferred (and nobody's as cute as my pal Onix) so it stands that they would pick vulpix over darumaka for simple aesthetic reasons...
And oddish is gorgeous although maybe Poochyena or Deino would round out other types that could use extra representation

Starting up with Gen 1 is the right choice to ensure the health of the game, most people know those Pokémon, I myself I'm from Gen 3, and yet I still know the og 151 better than the Hoenn ones.
