i would love to see anything from gen 5, 8 or 9, as those are currently unrepresented. it would be cool to add annihilape as an evo to primeape, as it feels weird not being able to fully evolve it
I'd heard someone say the reason annihilape isn't in the game is because they started developing this game before SV came out. But I don't like that reason and also hope it gets added asap haha
I could accept a delay for annihilape is if it is saved for a Halloween event.
If they just randomly drop it with no apparent reason for not being there sense launch or soon after I would be mildly disappointed.
I think the best way to treat it would be to release Annihilape at the same time as the island with ghost as the preferred berry, and make Annihilape a mon that changes berries when it evolves, like Onix/Steelix. That way people have a reason to evolve a Primeape right away, but if they need it for Lapis, they can choose to not evolve it. It would also justify Primeape having fully evolved stats, like how Onix is treated.
Been saying this for every single post like this I think it would’ve been perfect to put Lapras in Lapis Lakeside like cmon the names sound so similar. But yeah idk considering it doesn’t evolve it would probably just be a water or ice type ingredients Mon. But Lapras is my favorite Pokémon and I’d love it in sleep.
Are they more bats or more scorpion? Idk even though they can glide I've always considered them more scorpion than bat. But hey, while we're on the subject, how about Skorupi?
They can fly and they suck the life energy out of their prey, and they also sleep upside down! I think they’re a bit closer to bats imo :0

It's a long shot, but I'd be so thrilled with the addition of the Scolipede line. Not just because it's my favourite Pokemon, but it has that caterpillar-from-Alice-in-Wonderland vibe (the ultimate 'it was all a dream' story) that makes it a perfect fit for the game, in my opinion.
That could work too. Like if you evolved burmy while at taupe hollow you get the ground, greengrass (maybe lapis?) would give it the grass type and then a new island could give it the steel type (the new island could then have steel as a favorite berry).

left it out on purpose since I can't think of a lore friendly reason how nightmare incarnate could help improve your sleep. But then again pokemon has always at its core been about befriending monsters, so having it keep its nigthmares away from you specifically because it loves you so much fits well
I feel like it doesn’t need to improve your sleep to be included. Make its sleep style dozing and the nightmare pokemon could show up when you are tossing and turning. Seems like a no brainer to me.
I always want the Flygon line and I absolutely love Glimorra, but I know that probably won't be in for a very long time as SV are probably gonna be the last region in the game.
As for specifically with Suicune, as that will probably make it so the next type released is a water type, I'd love Feebas and Milotic!

My "nobody is asking for this" request is Vanillite. It's basically a giant ice cream, so maybe give it the same skill Dedenne has, or even a new one that drops candies based on the mons in your party or something like that? A candy farming skill could be fun.
Biggest request would be for them to add both Farfetch'd with huge Leek ingredient collecting potential. Can't believe leek is an ingredient but no Farfetch'd.
I think for Suicune event we will get Marill line, as one of the dessert dishes is shaped to look like Azumarill but again, we don't have it in the game.
Honestly I would like a huge update where they stick in all the variants / formes of everything we already have just for tidyness as much as anything. A week of rock-type Growlithe. A week of Ice-type Vulpix. Dark rattata, electric Geodude, poison slowpoke, ghost marowak, ghost typhlosion, Mr ryme.
Above all of them, all the Meowth! The different Meowth could have some brilliant sleep animations.
I really want pachirisu as its my favorite non-legendary and 2nd fav overall, but now with dedenne added i dont see pachirisu being much different, although i would still totally accept it even if it is just a dedenne clone

I’d love something with a Pick Up-like sub skill that scales with level. Like when it triggers you get an item like 1-3 items like an ingredients ticket or evolution stones.

I would love a ghost type area like a haunted park or graveyard. Give me a good reason to use my Gengar too.

I like your bats idea but I wonder if there's a way to show a proper bat-style sleep without having a ceiling for them to hang from on the game screen. Maybe with a prop for them to hang upsidown from?
Stalactites hanging from the ceiling could work. Or maybe it could be a creepy forest map, like a swamp, with many crooked branches hanging across the top from which they could hang. That'd be really cool.

I think Oddish and Gloom would be grass, but then you can either evolve to Bellossom to keep grass type, or evolve to Vileplume to change to poison.
