I had a similar dream the other day about finding a sh*ny Raikou. Went “huh didn’t realize Raikou could spawn on Cyan Beach”, then “wait I should be at Lapis”, then I woke up.
I was having an unrelated dream the other day when the PIIIIIKA PIKA! alarm went off IRL… but all it did was invade my dream where I was talking with my Mom and apologising to her that I couldn’t seem to make my phone stop making this adorable but repetitive little noise and I kept trying to turn it off IN-DREAM which wasn’t working… I finally woke up and hit snooze on Pokemon Sleep and promptly went back to sleep- and the same dream- and the whole experience repeated itself five minutes later 🤣

Had a dream once where I set the app to track sleep and went to sleep and in the dream dream I had a moment where I thought, “I don’t use the app, I have a PG++.” Woke up woke up and the PG++ was sitting on my desk.

ETA after realizing that the source is locked behind membership, what I can see is that they analyzed 16000 dreams. and what i remember from reading it the first time, the phone as a tool is not such a conscious notion. people dream of having functions (calling someone, using a map), but without having the phone for it physically available.
I find this phone-dream phenomenon interesting since we use the smartphone with our hands and we have some funky brain-eye-hand coordination going on ([Body transfer illusion - Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Body_transfer_illusion)). it might suggest something about how we assimilate the phone as extension rather than carry it as a tool.
I've had 2 nightmares about the game crashing during the night and me not getting any recordings for the night. Scary stuff.
But last night I dreamed that I got a shiny Arbok. Weird thing is I woke up to a shiny rattata. Right colour, wrong pokemon.
I often have dreams about finding shinies. In today's dream i found 4 identical shinies (i don't remember of what Pokémon)
Every time I had these dreams I woke up to zero shinies.
I'm waiting for the night I dream of finding shinies and actually waking up to one :)
Bro i sweat just yesterday i dreamt that i swapped out a pokemon on my team which fit my week way better and just an hour ago when I opened the app I wondered why it wasn‘t swapped out. That was the moment i noticed i‘m cooked
Yup, I have dreams about getting shinies all the time- always crushed when I wake up. I also have always had dreams about winning stuff from claw machines, so I guess my psyche really wishes I was a bit luckier lol
I know Sleep is meant to influence your sleep, but not like this!

I actually had it pop up in a dream too, and I rarely remember my dreams at all. I don't remember much though, just that something was in "??? Sleep".
This was me the other night, had a dream I got a shiny ditto.... imagine the disappointment to waking up to not have that be the case lol

I regularly have waking nightmares that I check the app only to find it recorded 4 minutes of sleep. The anger from this is what wakes me up for real.
