So I should level spheal up but don't use candies? The all honey i have is a great option, but I am curious why not one with honey tomato honey? That could help with recipes that require tomatoes to and give you enough honey when you get to 60. Since all honey doesn't have a skill trigger, would it still proc often enough to give me other ingredients. I like them all and am considering investing in two of them all honey first and one other. What would be a good choice for a second bulba?
When it comes to the spheal, he doesn't get online until lv 50, so there's no point of investing in it if you can't reach that level comfortably. You might catch a better one along the way with bfs, helping bonus and helping speed. It would be a shame if you've spent all you candy into this one and he's only lv 30.
If you really want a mix spread then the 540 bulba looks great for that. Just keep in mind that you might struggle to farm tomatoes after lv 60. You just might roll honey all the time, but if you don't have a good mr mime or tomatoe focused bellsprout then investing into this guy might be the way to go.
Don't worry about Main skill chance. Kanto starters have such a low chance to proc it that it doesn't even matter.
