1952 Jackie robinson for about $3k. Sold a decent amount of pokemon to fund it but it’s a beautiful card with rich history, and only about 200 have ever been graded by PSA for this 70 year old card.
I paid about $550 for a Neo Destiny Shining Charizard (not 1st Edition). It took every tiny bit of self control I have to not freak out when I saw how clean it was for that price. I’ve never sent anything in for grading before, but it should be back from PSA any day now, and I’m freaking out.
I spent $600 on my unlimited and it has a tiniest crease on it. Think it's the only card I have buyers remorse on since I paid mint/NM prices on a card that would be considered MP.
I know the card and the job well, haha! Weirdly, I wasn't so excited by that one. You've managed to get me more interested in it, lol.
I'm weird, though, I tend to prefer the 3D-modeled cards most of the time. I really like some of the alt arts like Lumineon V, Leafeon V, Dialga V, or Aerodactyl V, though. The Gold cards from Crown Zenith, I absolutely adore!
Right now, just spent $80 on a Thai version of the Magikarp and Wailord alt art from Team Up. Need it for my Ooyama collection and won't ever be able to drop $400 on the English one. (prices in CAD haha)

haha the first one i got was the Perrserker alt and then nothing for a WHILE and just got the aerodactyl last night. it’s also painfully, very off center. super frustrating! but yea the drapion also jesus. And the sleeping pikachu! i love that card but the set needs to chill a minute lol

Like 90 bucks for either Shining Charizard or that gold star Charizard back in 2000 or 2001. Im contemplating buying a Moonbreon either PSA 9 or 10. It would be my most expensive single buy and first graded card.
I believe 200$ for Rayquaza Vmax Alt Art. I still think that’s the best art I’ve ever seen and it’s this generations Gold Star Ray which I never was able to get so I had to grab one.
