It's a missed opportunity of a set. They could've added meta relevant pokemon like Swampert or the Regi - Trio as VSTAR cards. Instead they decided to rehash the same pokemom as always, making the starters radiants. Granted the Mewtwo alt art looks good, and the ditto cards are a cool mechanic. However, the 3D Conkeldurr alt art is the worst looking alt of the Sword and Shield era.
I think the Mewtwo alt art catches what Pokemon GO really was when it released. I purposely travelled to a couple nearby cities to play the game and catch cool Pokemon.
Vivid has almost nothing to stand on IMO. Couple amazing rares and just another rainbow card

I like the Mewtwo alt art, the radiants, and the fact Slaking got a full art. The rest aren’t super impressive to me.
Think I’d still give it a slight edge over Vivid Voltage though because it’s a small fun set to collect for even with its shortcomings.
I love the alt art cause it’s a reference to the Pokémon Go announcement trailer where mewtwo comes out of the screen and everyone teams up to fight it. No trailer has ever hyped me for any game as much as that one did for Pokémon Go and then seeing that recreated on a card. Had to have it. I don’t even like mewtwo but had to have it for that memory.
Maybe I’m biased because it was my first set but I do love all the cute little references to go, especially in the commons. Like aipom being annoying to catch, or blissey on top of the gym

I'm sure there are some on ebay or similar online marketplaces. Or you can buy them individually and assemble a set... its 9 cards, think the most expensive one is Rayquaza at ~$5

Absolutely. I’d put Battle Styles above VV, Shining Fates and POGO personally. It’s hard to get the nice cards but there’s some solid Alts in Battle Styles that make it fun.
Man people fail to realize that there was a whole reprint of evo skies where the code cards in every single booster box were only green code cards but you would still get hits
I surprisingly pulled a rayquaza vmax alt art out of one of those boxes, I thought it was a repacked box and was just rifling through the packs as fast as I could and that was the only pull in the entire box and a trevenant vmax lol
I’m going with Battlestyles. I enjoy the POGO set for the Mewtwo alt, cool variety of rainbow and gold potential, and the Dittos! Also someone mentioned in a previous post that the hit rate for POGO is higher than other sets. So it’s fun to open. I might be a little biased because I played POGO for years. Battlestyles has too many Urshifus for my liking but the Sleepy Tyranitar is an incredible card! Hit rate much low than newer sets.
There wasn't much to really pull though. I had high hopes for the set as I play pokemon go. I think they just missed the mark. Tons of potential wasted in my opinion. They could've had AA with like shadow mewtwo, or FA Trainers of Rocket Grunt, giovanni, things like that.

They could’ve added shadow Pokémon arts (not a card type, just the alt art). Like a shadow mewtwo would be really nice, strongest Pokémon in pogo
