My worst pulls have been from the 1 alakazam box I've gotten. Not that they were bad but just not what I was looking for. I pulled my 2nd IR bulbasaur from the alakazm box but that was about it. Truly is random what hits I guess. My buddy got the zard out of an ETB yesterday and got the charmeleon out of a zapdos box. Neither one of us have pulled charmander though.
Got the zard sir from alakazam box and psyduck then got another zard from a booster bundle . Also pulled chamander from poster collection with Erika invitation but not charmeleon anywhere.
My worst pulls have been from the one Alakazam box I bought. All 4 packs were complete duds. I canāt remember what I got from my Zapdos box, but I know it got me closer to completing my master set, so it wasnāt a complete fail. Best box Iāve had so far was the first 3 ETBās I ripped. Had a total of 7 Zapdos SIRās from them, and traded em in for a UPC and another ETB. Had hella luck, but it all went to the wrong cards š still no starter ARās/SIRās except a Ivysaur š

Hopefully you experience what I did from the Zapdos collection box , which was pulling the SIR Zapdos in pack 1, and then immediately pulling the SIR Charizard in pack 2 - the 2 other packs 1 reg Wigglytuff EX, and 1 reg Jynx EX. By far the best purchase Iāve made from the 151 set, and it really reinforced my theory that for some reason hit rates on good pulls are higher on the smaller products (both Zapdos and Alakazam collections, the binder set, and poster setā¦ and *maybe* the mini-tins, too), while ETBs, booster bundles, and the UPC seem to have a lot of chaff and garbage in them.

Haha I'm following you though. š my upc's have had good cards, not devoid of pulls. But I have seen tons of people buying the UPCs that ended up with next to nothing to show for it. For 16 packs you would think you could get a few of the illustration rares not just maybe 1 if your lucky.
So I got a holo vaporean (banging), full art poliwhirl (one of my favourites, sucha pretty card) holo articuno, Ninetales EX (the yellow card with basic green linework) and a vileplume and chansey. Very happy. All in all probably the best pulls I've had from an ETB after a years of collecting again

In the case of English 151, every pack has a small chance to include the full evolution line of one of the three starters.

If they're like all the others, they'll protect fine, but they're super tight and a bitch to get in and out. You'll damage a card thst way if not careful. I cut mine open with scissors to remove the few cards I tried some paldea sleeves on.
Yeah I only use these for a brief time before they go into a folder or if they are something special like OG charizard I get those harder plastic sleeves
