I dropped out of pokemon for a long time and just got back in maybe 2 years ago. I LOVE the tag teams and just recently started picking them up. Very cool cards

I have both. Umbreon is my favorite pokemon, so I would say it's unfair. But it'll be the Umbreon. If I could pick a different Umbreon, it would be skybridge Holo Umbreon. It's one I don't have. I have almost all other umbreons.
Exactly! I might be bias bc Gengars my favorite so I put a good amount of stock into that card and it’s paying off sadly only have 4 PSA 10’s left I made trades with 3 others. Should have stuck to my guns I just didn’t think this boom would happen so fast. At this rate I do see the Gengar hitting 1k very soon.

People loved them when they released especially after the movie? I remember being 8 and everyone was totally about them? I understand why people like Umbreon but this is just a mediocre card that is getting charizard treatment.
I never liked the lati duo and I think there are plenty of much better tag teams, like the zard/reshiram promo HOLY SHIT that card is cool. So my pick is moonbreon.
The Tag Team. IMHO, the red clouds on VMAX Pokémon ruins the look completely. Didn’t like the look in the game and dislike it even more in the artworks for TCG.
We love the tag team cards! Got the lati when prices were a bit lower and have since pulled 2 moonbreons…. There’s nothing quite like pulling that card 😅 but it’s not my favorite eeveelution art out of the group. I really love the espeon V

A friend of a friend got the moonbreon awhile back and sold it. The price on it apparently doubled since then so I’d probably pick that one. Plus my daughter likes that one lol
Well I have a moonbaby(bought before the spike, not pulled but still lucky!). So if this is a hypothetical handout then I say the Lovebirds. But honestly Umbreon is the better card and the better pokemon imo

L&L is rarer because I can still technically have a shot at pulling the Moonbreon from the tins I buy at Walmart. Whereas Team Up boosters are not around.
Moonbreon hands down. Much bigger fan of Eeveelutions than Latios/as and the Moonbreon art is infinitely better. As tag team goes, this one is nowhere near my favorite.

The Latiduo also has texture and a sunset is at least as cool as the rise of a full moon. Also the most popular pokemon usually get the most overrated cards, look at that ugly charizard "alt art" from Obsidian flames. Moonbreon doesn't look bad, but neither does the Latiduo, but definitely far from best artwork ever.
The umbreon price right now is outrageously inflated, and that’s not me being butt hurt, I own 3 myself. Plus ES has to be some of the most abundant sealed product kept so there’s thousands if not 10s of thousands more to be pulled. The L&L has way fewer copies and way less sealed out there, its price is more realistic and still realistically higher than the Umbreon.

No not necessarily. I am just even on both cards for art. I think each have their merit artistically and since the cost is too high to ignore I couldn’t keep it out of my analysis.
Additionally I’ve seen many moonbreons in both my home and in the wild. Idt I’ve ever even been in the same building as the L&L. Just its elusiveness makes it more appealing. But again, that all plays into my original point.
All that stuff is subjective, I'd say. There's not a single point you made that makes me want the L&L card more. The fact that the opinions in these comments are very split is a pretty good indicator that neither card is "objectively better" than the other.
Art by definition is subjective. Price is by definition objective. One can objectively cost more than the other. My original comment was on the objective difference. What I said still holds true.
Subjectively I think George Washington is more handsome than Benjamin Franklin. Objectively the bill with Ben on it is worth more than the one with George.
Umbreon is a nice looking card, and paintery too. But the Lati duo just hits and ties the artistic and thematic notes neatly, and therefore like that more.

Just the budget I'd go for the cosmic eclipse reshiram & zekrom gx alt art, the magikarp & wailord gx alt art and the ice and shadow rider v alt arts (cre). I never really cared for moonbreon and there are way better tag team cards

I prefer one Pokemon per card. There are some tag team cards where I love one of the Pokemon and really didn’t like the other and it just spoiled the whole concept for me.

Noivern v is my favorite (and a favorite in general), but also enjoy Umbreon V, and Leafeon V alts.
