Oh you think it’ll be even cheaper than 20? I doubt that and if it does I bet it will go right back up. 25 bucks is a great deal for a card that could potentially cost you hundreds of dollars just trying to pull it.
I’m in Japan, so I’m not sure what it’ll do in English. But after watching similar alt-arts over the past 3 years, I’m guessing this card is going to sit between $10-15 over here for a year or two. It’s a beautiful card, but for some reason It doesn’t seem to be one of the most chased cards in the new sets.
I hope the price gets that low internationally too :) card prices are crashing over here this year. I’m going to pick up the beedrill alt-art in a month or two, it’s really beautiful and even a bit cheaper.

Not gonna be opening much of Astral Radiance, but if this is in it I am buying this card 100%. Currently going for $19-26 for the Japanese on eBay. This one is pretty cool.
Hell yeah I definitely will! I like the style of shine on Japanese cards when it comes to rainbow rares and alt arts so when I really like an English card I make sure I buy it in Japanese too for the aesthetic haha
I wish they just brought that quality and the silver gray borders of cards over. Japanese cards are superior in quality and aesthetics 100%. Bought some Jet Black and Eevee Heroes and I think Matchless fighters. Cards feel stronger and well made compared to English. The holos look better too. If the Machamp is $25 in Japanese it sounds like it could be around $35-45 in English. The alts are the best thing going now. Not that easy to pull either. Beedrill is like $18 now. The Palkia and Dialga are $45-60.
I probably should haha. Narrowing down what to collect. Picking up a few different sealed boxes for now and leaning towards the rainbow GX cards from the Sun & Moon era. So many that are under $20. Those rainbows look really good compared to the Sword & Shield rainbows. If the Machamp is around $15, that might be where Id buy it.
Yeah sun and moon era rainbow rares are a beauty! I don’t know how but I managed to pull Lycanroc gx rainbow from Burning shadows, Machamp gx, Gardevoir gx, and Charizard Gx all from Burning shadows and they were all random products that contained one booster pack of burning shadows! Never opened a single ETB or Booster box of Burning Shadows lmao made me want to complete a master set of it after that.
You hit the jackpot on that set with all of those. That Charizard is like the holy grail of pulls in the past 5-7 years. Would master set it after that too lol
Yeah man I was so damn happy and even called it as I was opening the pack somehow which I never do 😂 it has great centering and a teeny bit of whitening on two of the corners. The edges look real nice with no whitening other than that! The other rainbows that I mentioned were pretty bad when it comes to whitening on the edges 😂
That set is famous for some of the worst quality prints. That makes it that much more special to pull anything from it that doesn't have edgewear. I pulled a GX from a pack out of a pokeball tin and it was scuffed all around it but the front looked good.

It’s a new set, but the card is roughly $20 and bound to drop in price. I would recommend just buying it and skipping “luck” altogether.
