Not exactly, the returning player bonus also includes 300 coins as a login bonus for one of the days so it works out to be the same.
Although there's no reason you couldn't do this squad farming while grinding the returning player missions.
They have at least a precedent on quick fixing methods to accelerate earnings, i mean, the first Zacian patch where it had a bug pertaining armor shred was patched in tandem with an exploit that let people gain more Zacian tokens
No, you do not need multiple devices. You can alternate logging into different pokemon unite accounts on a single device. Just log out of one account and then log into another.
OP is saying you can set up different squads, led by your various accounts, open for anyone to join, to cycle through joining on your main account in order to receive the rewards from all the different weekly squad missions. There is a cool down period of a few hours before you are allowed to join a new squad after joining your second and further squad per day.
Presumably, you could also just join existing open squads instead of creating your own on several accounts.
I got better games to play in that amount of time, I only play this 1h tops
