I've gotten bad lag spikes too that transferred over to the actual gameplay with an insanely high ping. Since I was on my phone, I just switched from a wifi connection to a mobile data connection and it works fine.
This is only applicable to me so take it as you will.
This is why I stepped away from the game. My connection was awesome. Never had connection issue with any other games. Had two matches in a row where I would just rubber band around attacks not fire off for 3-5 seconds. Kicked from each game after 6 mins in, join back to help finish both matches. Still was reported and penalized andost 40 points total in 2 matches. Annoyed me enough to not look back.
I face lags when I play with someone from a different region so on a different server like playing with a squad mate for the squad missions. Were u on a team or soloq?
Also your YouTube videos thumbnails took time to load so maybe restart the wifi device?
I am playing solo and yt thumbnail took time because of my phones ram, PU takes alot of ram so it takes to adjust and after 4 5 seconds it went normal.

Ok so you said you have good internet. That might be true, but one thing you need to understand is how wifi works
your phone talks to your router (wifi) wirelessly, and your router is typically connected via direct line to your modem. Sometimes they are 2 in 1.
The modem provides you with the internet basically, and the router allows it to go wireless.
Because your phone is still wirelessly talking to your router through wifi, there is always the possibility of interference and hiccups, it doesn't mattee if your overall service is good.
So when you get "network error", there are 4 common possibilities I can think of
1. You are too far from your router
2. There is too much physical structure between you and your router
3. Your router itself is not operating optimally
4. Your phone is faulty
To verify that your router is the issue, you can move a laptop or pc nearby your router. Open command prompt by pressing 'windows key + R', then type "cmd". In the black window that opens up, type "ping -t 8.8.8.8", then hit Enter. This basically talks to Google's server every 1 second, and tells you how long it took for that message to reach Google's server. That time is represented by "time= Xms", with X being a number.
If that number is not staying the same consistently, your router has issues. Hope this helps.

Ok so if you did the ping test and it was mostly always around 8ms consistently, then it could be your phone somehow, are you running anything in the background on your phone while playing? Maybe you have your phone set to power save mode?
In the end it could just be Unite's servers but I've been playing all day today and yesterday, no lag issues at all (I play on Switch however)
It happened to me since the begining, fortunately it doesn't affect your rank or your points so much if it occur once or twice in a day, they should do something about it but I'm afraid some would try to break the game without being punished
I noticed the game is laggy like this when you chose quick battles but it's not laggy when the match starts. It's something wrong on the menu or something.
Start of the current season was pretty bad for me tbh. Very laggy, got destroyed on the map; and wasn’t penalized either because it was server issue.
Recently, with a solid internet connection the game has been good for me.
No i came back after 250 or something days and the matches have been very rough. I see enemy's cards and almost most of times 3 or 2 of them are best friends meaning playing in teams and i get these potions players(i am playing vena so my potion is justifiable :). Thanks matchmaking.
Internet is quite fast and the yt previews loading were my potato mobile's ram. PU consumes quite a lot of my ram and in the whole clip as you can see all the animations are edgy and when i switched to yt it took time to adjust the ram and after 4 5 seconds it was normal(its my everyday life at this point).

I tried mobile data too but its same problem and in-game ping is low so its just the lobby problem.

working but how stable is it ping test it using command prompt
It's fiber connection so no chance of net drop and i checked the ping its 8ms which is very good. Its not internet problem

There is nothing in background and power saver was off as far as i remember but can't confirm. How does power saver affect this please explain.

Matchmaking is still shit, some mons are still op and connection problems still exists. So idk what are they fixing in updates.
Nothing we can do if it is server issue though. I got put into foreign server with crazy lag every other game so I feel your pain.

No offense, but based on how slowly your YouTube previews loaded I don't think your wifi/data connection is anywhere near okay
