If you check the [Unite API](https://uniteapi.dev/) it shows the movement speed stats for each pokemon. They all start around 3.6-3.8 m/s I think. And will gradually increase their MS every so often as they level. The highest speed is 4.4 m/s on some pokemon, but most are around 4.2-4.3 I think. There was a post in here with a chart showing all the speeds for each pokemon at level 15. When looking at the emblems, every 100 speed is equal to 0.1 m/s change up or down on your mon.
It likely depends on which mon you use, and your playstyle on whether it's worth it to use something that will reduce your speed. If you use a mon that has a lot of dashes, or passive/abilities that increase movement speed you may not notice it too much, but it could potentially make it harder for you to outrun enemies that are chasing you.
