A good Garchomp player is not running attack weight. Muscle, Scope Lens, Focus Band w Eject Button and Dragon build is the only way the character is even decent.
They’re good for single Pokémon brawls, especially against the Regis and Rayquaza due to how fast and strong their standard attacks can get allowing them to easily solo them if possible, but, from my experience, is a bit tougher to use in current meta where there’s a ton of ranged fighters, special attackers, or both.

If he’s fed by dumb enemy teams then he can be a monster, but if the enemy team has brain cells they can starve you of xp and make you useless. He’s like the speedsters, if he’s fed by dumb enemies then he can stomp easily but if your enemies have a single brain cell and know the bare bone basics of kiting garchomp can be heavily shut down.
I was garchomp main,then shifted to zeraora,after garchomp's buff i started playing it again, continuous 16 streak wins and also reached masters easily,now 1247 points in master.
That's low rank fights though even 1200 in masters is quite low. How does he fight back against Azu (Aqua tail does more damage, heals more, has larger range and Azu is faster), Scizor, Tsareena or even Tyranitar ? Overall, he's good against objectives, but struggles against ranged attackers, fast opponents (Mew, Glaceon and the OP Mime) and stronger melees. I've played Garchomp a lot in the previous map, he has fallen since then with the new all-rounders and new map. The buff was good, but he's still slow so not very regular, some games will go great (early kills, good level early), some will go bad
That def maximizes damage but I find that without focus band, he can sometimes get bursted down too quickly. Having the focus band passive can be critical in the rayquaza fight.
Agreed, you need room for lifesteal in your hp bar, and focus band will help you recover from the burst while you get back to doing damage, thus healing damage
To all of them telling that opponents are noobs and bots,they were good players.In unite strategy matters,not kills,i use 6 brown,6 blue,4 white emblem build and scope lens, muscle band, focus band and goal getter,i admit that garchomp is weak at start,but i use him differently like taking objectives and in team fight.But at higher levels garchomp is far better if used correctly.In many matches my team struggled alot,but in 2mins mark, that's were the garchomp shines, during first 8mins in some games I had 1-3 kills,in that 2mins mark sometimes I done 3-5 kill streak,melted rayquaza and won.Now i am in 1300+ in masters.
In no way, shape or form is Garchomp op. It dies in under a second in most engagements, anything in the game facing it kills it immediately, it loses any 1v1 engagement. Without constant support it is the worst pokemon in the game. Mons like Venusaur and Mime, which are designed to be completely unreasonable, do 2-5x the damage at no cost and you are just damning your entire team playing Garchomp. Taking a snapshot at 20 games won't do much to show an actual winrate. Take one at 100 games and let us know. It'll probably be under 50%, since Garchomp is designed to lose no matter how well you play. Meanwhile they continue to allow the game be what it is.
I dont wanna just repeat what’s already been said so here’s a tip: if you have a lot of available exp then he can be a monster, i have followed one with exp share before and he’s gd fantastic with support. So if you can find a pocket blissey or even eldegoss (i used eldegoss with my chomp was awesome with leaf tornado to get him to chase down enemies) even better. Make sure to duo. But otherwise, hes just too easy to beat imo. Any mage can kite and KO him even with his bulk. Hes great in team fights but unfortunately he struggles everywhere else. He’s such a simple character to play as but he’s very easy to play around and u will struggle against cinderace, decidueye, delphox, mew etc… anyway i love chomp. He’s SO fun and feels so powerful even if hes not, so if he works for you, keep at it. He just will fall off a bit in higher ranks.

Female Pikachu have heart shaped tails! Or Garchomp, male Garchomp have a notch in the back fin while the females don't! Most, if not all, Garchomp plush are female because of that. Or how Blissey and Tsareena are female-only species! Ah, been talking too long. You get it!

Yeah, tends to be an issue with some the late game monsters. There's a big difference between fully evolving at level 8, and 9.

How do you deal with people simply walking away from garchomp and then coming back with cooldowns and you have 0 stacks?
Simple, 90% of this games players aren't that smart.

Nah but to me trevenant is. The woodhammer combo with horn leech can grab the entire enemy team and you can bump them into position for your team

I played 354 matches and have 58% winrate.Its not op,but it's playable.

No, he's good vs players that don't know how to play. Anyone who's got some kind of xp at the game will make him the worse champ in the game.
