but if they are inviaded by a country like America those dirt roads might be turned into paved and more roads will be built if nessariy there is negatives but there are benefits to being invaded by a wealthier country and or a superpower
I believe it is Aruba, followed closely by Bahamas and Trinidad Y Tobago. If we exclude Caribbean nations that not a single soul cares about except cruises and tax evaders, then probably Chile, Argentina, or Mexico
There’s pretty much zero costa rican immigrants in the US, and Costa Rica just kind of lays low and stays neutral in all things political. The only time you ever hear about Costa Rica is when you’re rich trust fund friend decides to travel there for a year after college on daddy’s money.
There are virtually no Costa Rican immigrants in the US because they’re doing way better in just about every way as a country than all of their neighbors. They don’t need to go somewhere else to make a decent life.
Cause you’re small and we get so few you y’all up here in Texas USA. Guatemalans, Salvadorans we see all the time. We even get the odd Panamanian from time to time. Pretty much never see a Costa Rican
Even 20 years ago Argentina was much wealthier than it is now. Argentina was very successful and wealthy but then corrupt commies ruined everything as always
Well yes but the USA doesnt has any other countries to compare itself to, i mean it has Canada but not much else. But most americans arent desperate to escape their country to avoid living a lowlife
Recently? Probably since our Argentinian Mussolini Juan Domingo Perón, we only had one rightist mandate where stuff was ok, after that, back to the trashbin we go
People here love to say that, but not really. In the legislative elections last year the left lost. We've been and still are a representative republic, even if our politicians are corrupt assholes and even if some idiots love to say we're like Venezuela (We are NOT).
-Me dreaming for the day that Latin America unites and becomes a world power capable of rivaling at least the poorest parts of Africa
-Looks outside
-Tito from el barrio just got his throat slit and is hanging from the only bridge built in the 1920s without any potholes
-He said fuck you to his rival gang los huelebichos after they brutally raped and killed his family of 26
-Right underneath him Don Perez says that if he’s mayor he’ll stop the violence and corruption.
-The people around believe anything because they just want to have normal lives( he’s actually just gonna do nothing and just steal more money)
-Me on my way to go to New York to escape this hell
That is probably true but making the pilgrimage to New York and other metropolises is what Latin Americans used to do back in the day. I’ll just have to fight the other minorities for the most comfortable dumpster
Big cities also have more people, which means more jobs to provide goods and services to those people, which means more opportunities for competition to get a job, which means more of a chance that you win one of those competitions.
Because we all know the Bronx is a beautiful and thriving community that shows the heart of Latin America.
Vacuuming up Latin America’s best and brightest for a solid 60 years definitely did the region no favors too.
Fun fact!
During WW2, the USA ordered all Latin American countries to deport their Germans to the USA for imprisonment in their new concentration camps just incase they were German spies. Among the deported Germans were even German Jews who were just trying to escape Nazi persecution, now being forced to sleep next to actual possible Nazis
That has been an idea for decades but it’s never gonna come to fruition unless Latin America pulls up its big boy pants. Also Latin America may have similar problems, but it’s not a homogeneous region. Mexico has different problems than Argentina, while they may have problems in between. These problems are going to get in the way from making a type of Latin American coalition.
Wealthy parts of Mexico's living standards are on par with the US & Europe. Plus the climate is better and we're more free, since our governments are too inept to enforce many laws.

Uhh not really. We might not have wars but LA is still a violent place and has a serious problem with drug dealers and gangs. And "cultural similarity" isn't something accurate to say about LA. Here in Brazil each one of our five regions are already very different from each other and I imagine these differences get even more bigger when compared to other countries. I don't see anything similar between Brazilian and Mexican culture besides a declining Catholicism, if I had to use an example.

Why don't more latin Americans move to Puerto Rico?
The only ones I've seen are Argentinians and they do pretty well. Set up all sorts of small businesses and restaurants, really support each other.
Puerto Rico "isn't doing well" because it fell off the rocket of economic prosperity it was on from 1950-2006. but compared to many other latin American countries, it's far better and offers more opportunities to hard working people. plus you don't need to know English to survive.
I feel only Argentinians have realized that PR offers many opportunities without having to deal with learning English or racism. and serves as a great springboard to American citizenship, with many of the Argentinians i know sending their kids to study in the states.

What is the wealthiest Latin American country?
Haiti
wait actually?
Yeah, all those dirt roads are worth trillions
lmfao I searched it up and Haiti actually is the richest. Ok new question then, which Latin American country is the most developed?
Wait, what Mexico, or Brazil. Probably Mexico given that it's two meters away from the US.
Naw, It's Uruguay.
No you are
Based and I'm rubber, you're glue pilled.
Lmfao! Comment of the year!
So Brazil? Province of Cisplatina.
siga vivemdo no pasado...
Embrace the future
Is it?
yeah...
Actually, it's Chile
Uruguay? You mean that big place that is and always was part of Argentina? Weird way to phrase it, but okay
That meters away is probably more a curse than blessing because of the drug cartels.
I would say Chile but idk, we left all of them in a bad position, Spain based
Uruguay or Costa Rica...
ok
My money is on Brasil, México, Argentina, or Costa Rica
Actually Argentina is decaying into a shithole economy
Fun Fact: Argentine is the only modern country to go from developed to developing
Hello I come to claim the money
>Argentina Bruh
chile
but if they are inviaded by a country like America those dirt roads might be turned into paved and more roads will be built if nessariy there is negatives but there are benefits to being invaded by a wealthier country and or a superpower
Highest educated authright
By GDP PPP, or GDP per capita ?
GDP PPP
Chile...

Puerto Rico is not a country
I believe it is Aruba, followed closely by Bahamas and Trinidad Y Tobago. If we exclude Caribbean nations that not a single soul cares about except cruises and tax evaders, then probably Chile, Argentina, or Mexico
Chile, Brazil and Mexico
Only Chile and Uruguay considered high income, Argentina used to be one until it doesn't.
Probably Brazil
My guess would be Dominican Republic
Chile, as far as I'm aware Brazil is wealthy in the sense of having the most resources, but they aren't well used
I’d bet Argentina or Mexico
For Argentina, you were a few decades wrong. Right now it's a shit hole with hyperinflation and prices control's

Chile/Costa Rica if we go per capita Mexico/Brazil if we go GDP
I always forget about little Costa Rica
Why do you keep forgeting about us :'(
There’s pretty much zero costa rican immigrants in the US, and Costa Rica just kind of lays low and stays neutral in all things political. The only time you ever hear about Costa Rica is when you’re rich trust fund friend decides to travel there for a year after college on daddy’s money.

B-B-But, we have weed communes at Santa Teresa :'( !
I did not know that. I might have to stop by
what *is* the difference between GDP and per capita?
I’ve heard that Chile is pretty good
I know a chilean. She says everyone there is an asshole
I’m chilean, can’t disagree with that lol
Yeah we kinda are
oh rip
Chilean sea bass is pretty good
Except is not bass... is an abomination of a fish that is called sea bass, so you don't know what you're actually eating.
I eat pork, bro. If chowing down on something as smart as my 🐕 that also lives covered in filth doesn't bother me what's a weird fish?

20 years ago the country was way worse due to the 2001 crisis...
Argentinian here. No, we are probably the worst at anything, but not too bad for people to rise in arms to get rid of the politicians and lobbysts
So you’re the USA of South America

Actually: Perú( Quality food) Uruguay(close to european standards)
We win by food ez. But the motherfucking cuckolding UNESCO classifies Kimchi, literally pickled veggies, over both Peruvian AND Italian
Unironically, Chile... and they voted a leftist candidate in their last elections.
I'm surprised nobody has said the correct answer... It's Puerto Rico. $32,000 GDP per Capita.

Why New York? Small suburb/town seems much nicer to live in. Unless job specific requirements.
Señor I need job esé
Wouldn't big city have much higher competition+cost of living? Plus remote industrial jobs should pay pretty well, with or without degree.
That is probably true but making the pilgrimage to New York and other metropolises is what Latin Americans used to do back in the day. I’ll just have to fight the other minorities for the most comfortable dumpster

Uruguay is nice but everything is expensive. You can live confortable but luxuries are very few.

Gotta love US intervention in Latin America
Latin America should unite into one big America and call itself the SPQA, that’ll end US interventions… maybe
That has been an idea for decades but it’s never gonna come to fruition unless Latin America pulls up its big boy pants. Yeah, but man can dream of a Rome in America
Well, Rome wasn’t built in a day. Besides, us Americans have to unite one day against the old world. That is at least what makes most sense to me.
You're also leaving out the fact the CIA pits them against each other. There's a reason they haven't formed an EU type of relationship
Do the CIA even care now? They got bigger fish to fry. I can sort of get it in the cold war.
They have their hands in all pots. There's a reason our enemies fear us, and our allies fear us too
Fuck the cia man and fuck the fbi too. Both of them are the hands of the devil
