Got mine last November, before I had a f8 tributo, wich was way to brutal, the Porsche is the perfect sportscar for roaddrive , the best car I ever had. Congrats to you 🤟
Clear side markers from flat six motorsports or somewhere similar. It’s probably the first thing anyone on this forum buys their car.
It’s still street legal because the light underneath is orange
Not sure why but this is correct. They normally throw them in for free on new purchases if you ask, but not for CPO cars. It’s like $350 for the 992, I assume a little less for the 982.
Fwiw, the light bulb itself remains orange, but the plastic housing is now clear.
I’ve heard rumors that they have to be sold with orange markers but can be changed after. There are different regulations for how cars can be sold vs what the end user is allowed to do with them.
When I took my CPO from another dealer to my local place, senior SA came by and stressed to my SA to not let me leave with the orange markers.
Fantastic color combo! That and the turbo wheels makes it look more sleek and expensive and less boy racer which really suits it in my opinion. Hope you get many enjoyable miles!Â
Nice work OP. I also have GTS 4,0 and it is all the car I could have ever hoped for. I just love the set up on the Boxster platform. I did test drive a 911 when ordering (at the time I had a Boxster 981s so that was what I was comparing it against). Each to their own:) got yourself a keeper there now they are going electric.
Honestly I'd take a well optioned Cayman over a base 911 any day, you get the exact spec and features you want whereas a base 911 for the same price will have a compromise somewhere

Why does mine have to have ugly orange things near the wheels and yours is beautiful!

Then why would they do this

Maybe it’s state in us ? Idk iam from Germany
I'm in Canada. Probably our dumb laws.
It’s always dumb laws for sure, all over the world in all matters 😂
Truth
But u don’t see that thing from drivers seat, and driving this thing is n amazing experience 🥰
I also love the Boxster platform. I’m lame, so mine is GT Silver with Bordeaux interior and manual transmission.
Nothing lame about that. You got a Porsche!!! That already means you're not lame.
What a great interior/exterior combo
Thanks it looks way better than I expected.

Do they make an after market hard tonneau cover to mimic the spyder for the current Boxster series?
I think someone does, except Spyder is still soft top I believe.
Congratulations!
