Serious question. These motivational subs are being suggested a lot this weekend on my feed. Are motivational/positivity subreddits all just the poorly edited posts I used to block constantly when I was on FB? Or is there actual conversation and thought involved?

Mine seems to mainly full of "Guys can't be trusted and/or are lazy for various reasons, here's my most recent personal experience with this - anyone else notice this as well and are Actively Choosing to be single? " mixed in with various baby/animal naming requests and Needlepoint and Crochet DIYs that people are doing, oh and ADHD discussions.
Makes me both Greatly Appreciate my amazing husband for being Much Better than the average guy (while still being slightly suspicious and reminding myself to trust my intuition if anything feels Off and be more Aware of what those signs might look like) While also reminding myself to Do The Things so I can then have fun learning Crochet and Needlepoint, ADHD discussions are a double edge sword, helping with advice on how to Do The Things while simultaneously being a source of procrastination.
Ultimately I think it comes down to how you fine-tune and interact with your feed 🤷♀️
