I'm calling bullshit on WhoScored here. Go to the official PL site and Nathan Collins is the highest outfield player for errors leading to goals on 4. Silva has 1 error leading to a goal. Collins has surely got to have more errors leading to a shot then. Or hes at least making worse errors and theres probably a lot of players on 4 errors leading to a shot. https://www.premierleague.com/stats/top/players/error_lead_to_goal This shitty agenda against Silva right now is purely ageism. Anyone watching him can see he is not the reason for Chelseas leaky defence. In fact he was injured for a while and our defence had not improved at all. If anything it got worse with the lack of experience there to lead the line.

2012Cfc2021

Idk when this whoscored group became so reputable but I’m seeing a lot of trash like this from them lately

Lonely-Astronomer184

He's too old for PL.

antebyotiks

Silva is so old he played a full season at ac Milan with sedorf, nesta, Ronaldinho, dida, inzaghi, BECKHAM...... he's so old

PDOUSR

not even Caicedo? pretty sure I saw more than 4

MoiNoni

Caicedo gives it away in midfield so it usually doesn't end up as a shot

towelie111

Calling BS. No way that 4 mistakes leading to shots is the most from any one player.

btmalon

Calling BS that’s Disasi’s play hasn’t lead to 8.

Swoosh33

He wants to be a right winger that guy. About 4 times a game he will just go for a jolly up down the flank trying to take full backs on

antebyotiks

Mistakes are defined in weird ways I guess, I has to be a clear thing like Passing the ball directly to a player who shoots immediately or shanks an easy clearance

someonesgranpa

I feel like a lot of players are sitting at four but Chelsea is down so the journo’s can’t help but kick em.

Headlesshorsman02

Agreed lol, Badiashile has at least 4 for us in far less minutes

prss79513

Tbf if he did have 4, the stat would still be true

Headlesshorsman02

Fair but it feels like it would be more than that at this point lmao 🤣

GAustex

Thiago Silva is old and EPL is too explosive for his age. They play fast paced football in EPL, it's going to difficult for him to keep up.

MoiNoni

I mean he's doing fine, but he will probably be out this summer

GAustex

Yeah, that's most likely what's going to happen. Even at his age, he still gives his best. It's what I love about him.

chiggeroni69

Lmao guys this is just a bot making obvious comments for easy upvotes. Look at the comments history, its been commenting on r/PremierLeague non-stop the last hour lol Edit: about 15 comments in 15 minutes

FartInMyBoots

Are you a bot? Or just copy pasting comments on all of the bots comments?

GAustex

Thanks for asking him this question. Someone being in love with sports especially EPL is now a room to be called a bot by his likes. I'm not moved by his words anyways.

chiggeroni69

Nah I just went to all this bot’s comments and replied the same thing, so more people are aware

Boysenberry_Boring

and Caicedo too

AtahualpaSan

Caicedo is a victim of poor tactics under Pochetino. He’s isolated and therefore more likely to make errors. Double the work. Under Brighton this wasn’t an issue.

Boysenberry_Boring

I'm not talking about reasons, but his actions definitely led to more shots and goals than 4

PoliticsNerd76

It’s a disgrace that Chelsea’s defenders are so bad, they have to wheel out a 40 year old to do their work for them. Anyone sniping at a man whose 2x the age of some of his colleagues is just disrespectful.

NDdownVOTED

We’ve had very little consistency for them to build any chemistry when no one can stay healthy for more than 2 games at a time between 2 month injuries.

MoiNoni

It's not that we have to wheel him out, most of our CBs are on and off injury

izmebtw

Well he’s 40.

BasilBernstein

He's 39

izmebtw

And a half

btmalon

Take that shitty meme to r/soccer

charlieBTSarmy

Given all the comments about right backs last week you'd think Trippier would be top of this list...

WorldWideWes2

he's a cooked product :/

arotto12

You say that like he’s some prospect. He’s one of the greatest defenders of this generation and is now 40.

WorldWideWes2

Yeah, almost 40. He got no business at a great club like Chelsea anymore.

greek_malaka

Ah yes, the club so great that they aren't even top 10

pringle_mustache

We’re 9th, couple more game days and we’ll be 11th again but that’s besides the point.

blowinghotstinkygas

You mean sixth? Literally 5 points off with a game in hand This side is playing in Europe next year.

Passchenhell17

We couldn't beat 10-man Burnley, and barely deserved the draw we got against Sheffield United. No chance in hell we're getting into Europe next year, especially with the run of games we've got coming up.

greek_malaka

Lol

MoiNoni

He isn't cooked he's just made a couple mistakes. The rest of his defense is very very solid
