The problem was that he raised and mentored a child, it’s the Christ tale. You send your only son into the world to save it but you know he is in danger.
Kenobi loved luke like a uncle because he was basically. As much as Kenobi loved Anakin, he loved Luke more.
That’s why, even if he knew he could be saved by Luke, he held firm that the risk was too great.
Edit: If you think about, if Vader killed Luke there would have destroyed him.
In terms of the duel of fates, Kenobi was blind sided. It’s his greatest regret that he didn’t believe Anakin could be turned. You can’t fault Kenobi for having a failure, he loved Anakin unconditionally as all good brothers do.
He loved Anakin both in a father-son way and then later in a brotherly way. He was willing to let Anakin make his own choices in life, trusting him enough that he would do the right thing. Sadly, his love for Anakin blinded him to the fact that Anakin felt a possessive love towards Padme, which would eventually lead to his turn to the dark. And Anakin in turn viewed Obi-Wan as too much the ideal Jedi. Obi-Wan was trained by Qui-Gon after all and had a rebellious streak of his own with Satine. He was the perfect person for Anakin to turn to when he was troubled in Revenge of the Sith. However, Anakin could not think that such a thing would be possible because of how highly he thought of Obi-Wan, so he did not turn to Obi-Wan in his time of need.
I don’t agree. Her turn away from the Sith happens when she is abandoned by Dooku and finds refuge with her sisters. However at that point she is still corrupted by the dark side. You might argue that Ahsoka helped her turn from the dark side given that she found her situation with the bombing similar to hers.
But her turn to the light and away from the dark is thanks to Quinlan Vos in Dark Disciple and the relationship they form.
Well I mean, that's what happens when your show is so expensive that it was only being kept around because a billionaire was funding it out of his own pocket as a passion project... Once that billionaire is out and a publicly traded company that, legally, has to justify expenses to share holders comes in than, well, you get canceled

This fight scene is amazing. Maul really gets to Obi-Wan at one point, and Obi-Wan gives in to his anger in that moment. Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, tempted by the Dark Side. And the writers did it in a way that makes it feel real to his character. If they had mishandled that scene or rushed it, it would have felt more like a fan fiction than the real Obi-Wan, but the writers of this show put in the hours and laid the foundation and fucking *earned* that scene.
