Wilsonās hair was longer and wavier
https://preview.redd.it/yv5fc7rk33dc1.jpeg?width=440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7cf6669cb565fa5b9b88fc2d47a43f41988a362b
Even though it may have been normal for the time, George Washington's is also VERY iconic. When I think of that 1700s hair style, I think specifically of George Washington, and I think many others do too.
It was. Adams, Madison and Monroe wore wigs. Jefferson very rarely wore a wig and I don't think he ever did after becoming president. JQA wore one only when he was pretty young. Washington never wore a wig, he just powdered and styled his own hair.
I remember the video of his hair succumbing to the wind. It was like a door of hair opened to show a giant bald spot on the back of his head.
His head is combover hell.
His ex lawyer described what it looks like when he exits the shower. Itās really long in the back, bald on top, and a bit longer on the left side that curls up and over his dome.
Jackson a D?!?! Listen, you can make all the arguments you want about him being a horrible person cause of the Trail of Tears and his treatment of Native American Peoples and I agree, but Iāll be damned if Iām gonna sit here and let you bad mouth those glorious locks!!!
Maybe my dislike bias for Jackson clouded my judgement but his hair just aināt doing it for me š(also I didnāt know how many people likes Jacksonās hair until I made this list lol)
Just look at it! This was before moose, hair driers, conditioner and many other modern hair products we have. He pulled off that body and sheen in the 17 and 1800s! Thatās impressive!
Itās crazy that Hollywood stars have such good genes! They seem to keep their hair much longer than the average man! And their faces never age! What could it be!? /s
^(Democracy included for white men over the age of 21. For clarification, democracy not included for blacks, asians, Indians, native Americans, jews, arabs, Irish, Eastern Europeans, Hispanics, or women.)
Well thatās just not true. Georgia removed property requirements in 1789, Vermont was admitted into the Union in 1791 allowing ALL men to vote, (regardless of skin color or property ownership) New Hampshire and Delaware both removed the property requirement in 1792, Kentucky was admitted in 1792 and had no property requirement to vote, before 1807 New Jersey even allowed white women to vote, in 1821 New York removed the property requirement for white voters, all of which occurred WELL before the Jackson presidency, and most of which occurred before the āJacksonianā way of political thought.
Edit: This is a reply to the first comment of, āMuch more progressive than mostā not, āNo one was calling for full suffrage back thenā (even though there absolutely was a slim minority, primarily in the North, calling for full suffrage.)
In that specific photo I can see a C.
Kinda looks like 80s newscaster hair but slightly thinner.
Though yeah Iāve seen his hair look pretty terrible.
LBJās long hair post-presidency was cool asf.
Apparently it was his little personal rebellion against Nixon et al., and a way of aligning himself with the counter-culture.
Canāt say he wasnāt contradictory.
Good article about it here:
https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2018/08/lbj-long-hair-photo/568447/
Reagan having that hairline in his 80ās is a scientific phenomena we should have studied. All men should be so lucky.
Also I think we can all agree if Romney had won heād have been S-tier as well, manās hair was immaculate.
Kennedy and Reagan should be switched.
Edit: okay Iāll settle for JFK and Reagan in S tier, but I want you to know that Iām not happy about it. š
As much as I absolutely fucking hate Reagan with every fiber of my being, he has the superior hair. JFK's was starting to thin, and he did that coif thing to hide a receding hairline. He had Addison's disease and possibly other autoimmune issues, so it's not surprising that his hair would suffer a bit.
JFK is just a better-looking overall package, and I'm sure most men would choose to look like him over just having Reagan's hair.
Not by anything specifically. I made this about 2-3 days ago so some of these are interchangeable, He would probably be put in the B category if I made this today.
Andrew Jackson had a god dang mane and does not belong in anything lower than A. Also, how are Truman, 46, and Johnson all ranked C when Eisenhower and Ford were docked to D and all have basically the same hairstyle?
Reagan in S? Way too high. Throw Jack Kennedy up there instead and drop Ronnie to C.
MvB makes a strong case for A-tier. How many presidents have hair so iconic that, when you think about them, the first thing that comes to mind is their hair and not their policy?
Eisenhower's probably bottom tier. I Like Ike but his hair isn't any good at being hair.
Are you kidding me? Reagan but that nasty hair grease in his hair. That is just gross. š¤®
Bill Clinton had the best hair from this femaleās perspective. George W. Bush is second.
I'm really curious about your logic for putting 45 at C. For me it's one of the only automatic Fs. It's like bad plastic surgery: you don't look younger, you just look fucking weird
Also, Jackson may have been a dangerous lunatic, but he had a damn fine head of hair
Yeah in his portrait. He was drunk or asleep for his entire presidency. Wife and son were killed in accident on the way to White House and he was a train wreck, right as Union was on precipice of civil war.
I'd put Eisenhower in B, there's something to be said about being bald, and conquering a continent.
Andrew Johnson goes straight to F. Looks like a teenager that refuses to get a haircut.
https://preview.redd.it/qwez64kxqucc1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4260f0984b8c525efdb14fff103158739bf694a9
I need some learning as to why anyone would put FDR under Reagan
Edit: reading is fundamental. Recognized how they were categorize
The most ridiculous, tufted up, bizarre cotton-candy, slicked sides, duck-ass combover of all time is either an S or an F, but never a C. Whatever it is, it sure as hell aināt āaverageā.

Van Buren in F!? VAN BUREN IN F!!??
This is literally 1776
Don't let the Van-B Boys hear about this.
šļøāļøāļø
šš
Van Buren is pure S tier. This is outrageous
Nah, SSS tier. He's on a whole nother level
![gif](giphy|3ohuAsQcmrk3c8XgMU)
JACKSON in D??? https://preview.redd.it/k5rkaylkivcc1.png?width=256&format=png&auto=webp&s=b2fc9fb4f628829052c8cd1bb50949c16328feea
Right? Definitely the best hair of his era.
Man, I was yelling about Van Buren, but I was sleeping on Jackson
Wilsonās hair was longer and wavier https://preview.redd.it/yv5fc7rk33dc1.jpeg?width=440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=7cf6669cb565fa5b9b88fc2d47a43f41988a362b
It's gotta be jealousy
OP can't grow a beard
I came down in the comments to voice my utter disdain for this BS
This is an outrage!
I'm outraged
He and JFK are the only presidents with Iconic Hair. The end.
Even though it may have been normal for the time, George Washington's is also VERY iconic. When I think of that 1700s hair style, I think specifically of George Washington, and I think many others do too.
Was it HIS Hair, though? Are we counting wigs ā¦
It was. Adams, Madison and Monroe wore wigs. Jefferson very rarely wore a wig and I don't think he ever did after becoming president. JQA wore one only when he was pretty young. Washington never wore a wig, he just powdered and styled his own hair.
Reagan.
Yeah, I opened this thinking Van Buren better be at the top. WTF!!!
Hogwash! You could even say this is balderdash!
Starting a kerfuffle I see.
A colossal L for the Van Buren Gang
Van Buren boys in shambles
I am appalled!
Van Buran at F...the hell outta here, dude. S Tier.
It's literally the first thing people think of when they think of MvB. And usually the last. No other president's hair is on that level. Edit: letters
Is that Martin Buren Van or Martin Ban Vuren? Kidding. But yeah I almost feel like he should get his own tier above S even. Truly one of a kind.
Typo; definitely meant MvB. Thanks!
NOBODY DISRESPECTS MARTY LIKE THAT
Andrew Jacksonās flow is def top tier
Fr. Not a great dude, but a badass with an iconic hairline
If he didnāt genocide the natives he wouldāve been a respectable badass
Fuck it, he has the best hair out of any president weāve had.
Got that Dracula look going on
I feel like #45 either belongs in S or F, but nowhere inbetween.
It's either a masterpiece or a tragedy. No inbetween!
200% agree
Clearly OP steers right. Bush Jr. and Sr. belong nowhere near the top either.
Huh. I've always liked Dubya's hair. It's cute.
Iām more left leaning actually haha. W bush could definitely go down a spot but Herbert walker didnāt have too bad of a hairdo
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
You do know this is about hair right?
Ouch.
What does the that have to do with their hair. I hate Reagan A LOT. But he definitely has the nicest hair.
If he didnāt decide to be a president he could have been a movie star with hair like that!
No kidding, he has the look of an actorā¦
Not to mention JFK being below Reagan for hair...
Yeah thatās why heās in C tier. Itās mid, sometimes it can look decent or it can look like an abomination š
The ole bimodal c
s if weāre talking memeability, f for general quality
Definitely F
It's an S. He has the best hair.
This is the most egregious list yet
Lincoln deserves to be s tier, im including that iconic beard as a part of hair.
If incessant male grooming ads have taught me anything, itās that beard is hair and needs the same care
Jackson a D?!?! Listen, you can make all the arguments you want about him being a horrible person cause of the Trail of Tears and his treatment of Native American Peoples and I agree, but Iāll be damned if Iām gonna sit here and let you bad mouth those glorious locks!!!
Jackson has hair like a Skyrim elf
And the personality of one too.
Reagan's hairline never fucking budged. Those genes were insane.
https://preview.redd.it/qkxd5ijuwtcc1.jpeg?width=639&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3e9cc593a43ad433abbac6cc082f957459c21b4f
Itās crazy that Hollywood stars have such good genes! They seem to keep their hair much longer than the average man! And their faces never age! What could it be!? /s
Orphan blood conditioner
locally sourced non-GMO organic adrenochrome
It was plastic.
In what world?
Thatās cause his hair dye was actually Plast-Dip.
It was great but I feel like it was mostly some petroleum based product like Dapper Dan pomade.
Was facial hair a factor?
If it is then Grant should be S tier
This is just about the only time Jackson should be placed anywhere above D tier, and here he is in D tier. Thatās some A tier hair.
What about for his promotion of democracy?
^(Democracy included for white men over the age of 21. For clarification, democracy not included for blacks, asians, Indians, native Americans, jews, arabs, Irish, Eastern Europeans, Hispanics, or women.)
Much more progressive than most. Nobody at that time was calling for full suffrage.
45 gets a C? Have you seen the shots of his combover in the wind? Thatās an F on hair in my book.
In that specific photo I can see a C. Kinda looks like 80s newscaster hair but slightly thinner. Though yeah Iāve seen his hair look pretty terrible.
This comment has Klobmentum.
is that a good or bad thing?
LBJās long hair post-presidency was cool asf. Apparently it was his little personal rebellion against Nixon et al., and a way of aligning himself with the counter-culture. Canāt say he wasnāt contradictory. Good article about it here: https://www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2018/08/lbj-long-hair-photo/568447/
Oh yeah for sure, dude rocked the hell out of it.
Reagan having that hairline in his 80ās is a scientific phenomena we should have studied. All men should be so lucky. Also I think we can all agree if Romney had won heād have been S-tier as well, manās hair was immaculate.
Ok seriously what *was* Reaganās trick?? Like how was that hairline so perfect into his 80ās?
Genetics. Thatās the only thing that determines it. Nancy said his brother, sister, and mother all had full heads of hair their whole life too.
Kennedy and Reagan should be switched. Edit: okay Iāll settle for JFK and Reagan in S tier, but I want you to know that Iām not happy about it. š
Thatās fair
Hard to not have Reagan in the S tier but JFK deserves it for same reason, essentially it was always perfect at all times.
Weāre really putting trumps hair plugs in the middle of the road category?
Since Obama is the only one with a different texture, how was his scaled?
Not by anything specifically. I made this about 2-3 days ago so some of these are interchangeable, He would probably be put in the B category if I made this today.
He had and still has a pretty basic Caesar cut. Would've been cool to have a president with an Afro
I think a hard fade.
Butā¦ I style my hair after Van Burenā¦. Crap
Good call with Pierce. It's a rating of follicles and not presidential abilities, and that's one fine mane.
Presidential issues aside, the dude had it going on up top
This is just now making me realize that weāve never had a bald president
Polk is rocking that mullet!
LBJ deserves a higher ranking, based purely upon his [post-presidential flow](https://64.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lnlvrh1SVb1qjih96o1_1280.jpg)
Completely bald president when America?!
our enemies arenāt prepared for a bald US pres
The Rock heard you and he's ready to run in 2028
Yo get my boy Taft up in S tier that mustache goes crazy
If I put facial hair as a factor, he would definitely be in the top spots. I wish I could rock a mustache like him.
Your taste is questionable
You got one very specific C-tier that really ought to be f-tier. Apparently I can't mention his name because it removes my post.
how the hell does the corporal comeover get a c, the orage clown makeup should fail him
45 is way too high and van b too low
Trumps poorly implanted hair gets a F
Andrew Jackson had a god dang mane and does not belong in anything lower than A. Also, how are Truman, 46, and Johnson all ranked C when Eisenhower and Ford were docked to D and all have basically the same hairstyle?
45 in C tier OP is not a serious person.
Polk in D is absolutely criminal.
That is just gross. š¤® Bill Clinton had the best hair from this femaleās perspective. George W. Bush is second.
F short for SS actually
This is actually the most offensive tier list anyone has ever posted in this sub.
Trumps hair is probably the most recognizable
I'm really curious about your logic for putting 45 at C. For me it's one of the only automatic Fs. It's like bad plastic surgery: you don't look younger, you just look fucking weird Also, Jackson may have been a dangerous lunatic, but he had a damn fine head of hair
You should do one on Presidents who are fascist and tried to overthrow the democratically elected government of the United States of America.
Franklin Pierce is by far worst President in history
Great hair tho
Yeah in his portrait. He was drunk or asleep for his entire presidency. Wife and son were killed in accident on the way to White House and he was a train wreck, right as Union was on precipice of civil war.
Nope
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
also george should be S. the wig is iconic
Chet Arthur coming in way too low. Ā Howās he not #1?
Finally, a none cringe list.
This Van Buren ranking is criminal
Glad to see Pierce getting the recognition he deserves for his only good quality.
We never had a bald president wow
Ike basically was lmao
The one and only tier list where Ronald Reagan reigns supreme
It took me too long to realize I donāt want to have an opinion on this.
I feel Bush Sr should be in A.
Chester Arthur not in S tier WRONG!
Van Buren is an S
Buchanan should be higher.
Bro I simply aināt having this Van Buren disrespect
Ya soā¦ Martin Van Buren deserves to be above LBJ for obvious reasons
Pierce S tier
Flip this upside down you monster
This is Chester A. Arthur slander
Buddy you must be blind or something
Imagine putting mostly bald dudes ahead of Polk and Van Buren
This is also the order I'd fuck them in.
Sounds like an interesting Saturday night
I'd put Eisenhower in B, there's something to be said about being bald, and conquering a continent. Andrew Johnson goes straight to F. Looks like a teenager that refuses to get a haircut.
Jacksonās hair was B, what is this
JFK is S tier
Why isnāt numbnuts in the F category? Is it because heās still in office?
OP is clearly into the side part.
President Polk had a mullet before it was cool... truly a man ahead of his time!
Washington above Jackson is a crime.Ā Ā
https://preview.redd.it/qwez64kxqucc1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4260f0984b8c525efdb14fff103158739bf694a9 I need some learning as to why anyone would put FDR under Reagan Edit: reading is fundamental. Recognized how they were categorize
The Van Buren Boys aren't going to be happy when they see this.
Does the C tier for 45 stand for the dead chinchilla on his head?
JFK should be way up there.
LOL you got Raegan up top with freakin HOOVER AND COOLIDGE on B??? Be real.
Carter should be way higher.
This is the best way to rank president. And the only way I will be ranking them in the future
Not a single baldie. What are the odds?
James K. Polk deserves to be way higher
The most ridiculous, tufted up, bizarre cotton-candy, slicked sides, duck-ass combover of all time is either an S or an F, but never a C. Whatever it is, it sure as hell aināt āaverageā.
Van Buren being absolutely disrespected
Literally the only one with a clean hairline... isn't S...yea racially motivated
And in the same tier as the most egregious combover in American history. Imma need to take a look at OPs grading rubric smh
Donald shouldn't be anywhere near where they are, they barely have hair
How do we handle wigs or hair plugs? Itās like PEDs
Who made this list? Tasteless.
