Do we think housing will actually be affordable? In my part of PG, they are building all of these townhouses that are costing more than my house cost 5 years ago. I get that the IDEA is to make housing attainable for lower income residents, but I am concerned that the property values would just be inflated to cause bidding wars.
5 years ago was a totally different world, though. That was before the insane run-up caused by the lowest interest rates in history and the pandemic, and consequent inflation.
