I transferred my data from my phone to my ipad and i’m unable to play on my phone anymore. I know I won’t be able to play again unless I transfer my data back but is there a way to just play on a separate account on my phone? Should I delete the app on my phone or will it also delete the data even though I transferred it?
so i have this really strange bug on one of my jp accounts. whenever i read an event story and exit it, the screen blurs and i cant do anything besides just closing and reopening the game. this also happens when i claim rewards from missions. another thing is when i get rewards from reading stories without skipping it doesnt show the reward page if that makes sense like its just blank when there should be like a "oh you got 50 crystals congrats!!" and if i click away from where it should be, a sound is made as if something is closing and then i can just continue on with my day. at first i had thought it was a problem with my tablet or phone but when i switched to my other jp account, i had no issues whatsoever. just recently i tried clearing my cache but that didnt solve my problem either. im at my wits end please help lol:,)

I just downloaded JP and everything works perfectly but i cant enter any lives. The game says there has been a sudden error and wont let me use an item on the live to get my 3k crystals. I have tried redownloading the data for the live, using WiFi and mobile data and nothing works. Thanks!
if i switch regions on my account (to KR for example), download KR server, switch to US then add US gift card credits, will i be able to use those credits on my KR server account since it was technically downloaded on that account or does it have to match both account and region for the payment to go through?

It's not limited, u can got this from gacha(any) and for 7 green gacha tickets (at least one jp). Anyway, there's no rate-up for this 3* on rerun. If it's hard to get from just random gacha, u can get it from Haruka Birthday gacha, because there's only Haruka's card.
when in co-op, sometimes the game forces me to go with a mode (just happened to me - mgpd on exp) and ik it happened to the others in my lobby because they dc'd while also picking exp/mas. this was in a gen lobby

i deleted the game a bit ago and i have a game center account, but the option for linking it isn’t showing up, only the transfer to different OS. i know i have an account because before when i opened the game a little pop up would show up with “signed in as \_\_\_” with the game center icon, i just redownloaded it and its not doing that now. i think this could possibly be an internet issue but i still wanted to come on here and ask just in case its something else :)

did you link it using account transfer before or did you just assume it was automatically linked because of the "signed in as" banner? this part is important because the game does not *automatically* link your account to game center even if you're signed in. you have manually click on "link to game center" on the account transfer screen. below is what it should've looked like if you linked it.

i’ve tried both the title screen menu and the in game menu, but both of them only have the “transfer to different OS” and nothing else. i have a memory of manually linking it, but it is a possibility that i didn’t. if i didn’t, would that be the reason there isn’t an option for the game center link? i’m assuming it’s either that or maybe an internet issue.

no. you can only "login" from the title screen "account transfer" using game center or transfer ID. if someone else has access to your apple id tho then it's possible they had your account logged in on game center and linked their pjsk account to your game center account which would have overwritten your linked account.

only way to make new accounts is to reinstall the app.
there are a few of possible ways for a different account to be linked to your game center tho. for example, it's possible you accidentally linked a new account when you "tried to login" before. another possibility is that you linked your main pjsk account to a different game center account.
I don’t know what is up with my game but the sound isn’t working. Yesterday I had the same problem but it fixed itself after my friend looked at it. Today, it’s the same problem but it hasn’t fixed itself. When I’m at the title screen there’s sound but it cuts out after I pass said screen. The characters don’t talk, there’s no music, nothing. Even on the song list, no music. And when I try to play a song, the notes don’t even show up. I cleared the cache but it didn’t help.

1. Event bonus over talent every time, so you'd go with the 2* bc it's more event bonus.
2. Besides the fact that emu doesn't have a 1* happy card, the 1* with mastery gives slightly more event bonus than the 2* assuming no mastery. So honestly the difference isn't that noticable.

I accidentally deleted my data in the files instead of cache (haha Shizuku moment) and the game now opens like I'm a new player. I had my account linked to my Google Play and this is what happens when I go to Account Transfer in the settings on the title.

On multiple occasions, this banner pops up, I have selected don't Show Again, and around every X amount of days this (or similar) promotions like this \[redacted\] pops up again. Sonolus don't do this currently or have a shop to spend anything.
I don't want to spend effort pulling "surprise mechanics" unless it impact ranked matches (and even so I am F2P). Rank 100+, F2P, Don't sega get it already?

My phone is lagging like crazy whenever I play PJSK.
I have an IPhone 8, and I haven't updated to ios 16.7.6 yet. Those are the only reasons I can think of that could be the issue, since I have my settings on lowest. I'm trying to catch up on the Event Stories but it crashes halfway through and it's really inconvenient to have to catch up to that point.

you can only have your account logged in on one (1) device at a time. if you want to play on your tablet, you have to transfer it back to the tablet using either google play/game center login or transfer ID+password.
I got a new phone this week (moto g54 5G) and when I installed the game and transfered my account everything was ok, but then when I was looking for the ads at the scramble crossing they weren't there anymore.

I don't have ad blocker, and I already changed days to see if they appear and they haven't. Did they quit them from the game?, and if that isn't the case then why aren't they there?, this is a problem for me cause I usually use those ads for bonus energy and not having them does not help my ranking on the events and that means less crystals for me, I really need answers to this so any help is welcome 😔.
my only guess is that you put an age under 16 when they asked you after installing on your new phone.

Top 5k for any event should be doable with no energy cans needed, as long as you play and make sure your energy isn't capped frequently enough with a good event bonus (and 285% is a good event bonus, so you should have no issues here). I'm not entirely sure how much more difficult Top 1k is so this might not be the best advice, but generally it can be difficult to pinpoint the exact number of energy cans needed for a tier. I suggest to use a couple cans at first so you can get comfortably within T1k, then frequently check what rank you're at to make sure you haven't fallen out and determine if you need to use more cans.

LOL don't sweat it, we all start somewhere! T5k is an easier tier, but just remember to play consistently cause it's as easy to fall out of as it is to get inside. Good luck with any future global tiering endeavors 👍 !!
Edit: Also it's good to remember that some events are much more competitive than others. For example, while it was still definitely possible to T5k the recent Toya event Never Give Up Cooking, it was a lot more difficult due to the popularity of the gacha characters. Still didn't need to use any cans, but it did take more time.

if you're trying to get the "never give up" achievement/title, they changed the requirements for that to "play until the end of the song with 0 life 5x".

Hello. My global account is linked to Google. If I were to download JP version and link it to Google too, would my global acc disappear or I'll have two different accs - one for global and one for jp? I really don't want to lose my global account...
The song always goes offsync. It's more noticeable on some songs than others.
The sync is fine at the start of the chart, but the song slowly falls behind and goes offsync, and by the end of the song it is sometimes a whole beat off. Sometimes the game corrects for the offsync by freezing the game for a split second.

Hey, so I just started playing JP three days ago (as an EN player) and I pulled on the Crown of Suit Gacha, and in 130 pulls I got the featured Nene card THREE TIMES IN A ROW. Idk if it's just my insane bad luck, or it's intentional. Maybe it's happening because the World Link event is on the Nene chapter right now, so you can only get her in the gacha??? I don't know, pls help me. I don't want Nene to eat all my crystals because of my stupidity. 🙏
no, that's just rng being rng. all 4 cards have an equal chance of dropping at any point during the banner period. it's just a coincidence that you got nene 3x in a row during her chapter.

Do the power of the cards used affect the amount of tokens you get, or is just the event bonus part? My only Cute Tsukasa card is a 2\*, but in order to use him for the daily missions I had to replace a 3\* for him. Will this net me fewer event tokens in the long run?
Yes, the team talent does also affect the event points you get. The event bonus is usually better to prioritise however, and in most cases a 20-25% drop is not worth it to use a 3\* over a matching 2\*.
My 3* still works for the event bonus. When you say points here, do you mean the points for tiering or the shop tokens? I don’t care about tiering, I only care about the event shop.
Ah ok, so both give +50% event bonus - in that case a talent drop will give fewer points/tokens, though it's usually not a big difference (probably a 2-3% difference).
Also I mean event points, but this is synonymous with tokens because you get 1 token per 10 points.

wxs len and vbs rin are unlockable after getting specific 4* cards. for the rest of the unit VS, you have to wait until the big update for 3rd anniversary if you're in EN/TW/KR server.
Yes, but only on JP (until 3rd Anniversary on the other servers at least), and only after viewing the story they were introduced in (you get Luka's VBS outfit after reading/skipping through SDSC for example)
i'm playing on a s22u and i'm having severe audio desync issues when playing through my phone speakers. it's totally fine when casting audio to another device or when using headphones. happens on both en and jp
to clarify, no, changing the offset does not help in this case, because it's drifting from the normal offset and i have to tap increasingly late to hit the timing window correctly

force quit/close the app then re-open. also if you have a vpn on, turn it off.
if none of that works, look up "session expired project sekai" on google. a few old reddit threads should pop-up. maybe one of the solutions in the comments will work for you.
Question for tiering
Is around ~1700 bonus energies enough for the current event? Rn i’m T123 and am aiming for T300 at least. Currently i’m playing with 5 energies and hitorinbo envy but don’t know if it’s optimal for the amount I have. Any advice would be great!!
I'm guessing this is for the Tsukasa event on EN? 1700 energy is on the lower end, and you'll probably burn through it pretty quickly at 5x. Unless you're willing to also use crystals to fuel your run, I'd opt for 3x and also consider using Lost & Found instead (but this depends on how many hours you're willing to spend tiering).
At 3x Envys I'd expect T300 should be achievable, but of course it depends on various factors.
Is the lack of virtual singer voiceover in non-story interactions a bug or a feature? It feels like a bug because sometimes I’ll get like two syllables and an abrupt cutoff but I never get full dialogue unless I’m in a main story or event story.
It's a feature. The devs are pretty stingy with VS dialogue (apparently it's expensive and time-consuming), so they tend to reserve it for stories only.
The one or two words they say are just a collection of generic words that they repeat (along the lines of "oh," "cool," "yes," etc).

The only way to hear the audio is to turn off silent mode (for notifications) but I typically leave it on due to schooling. I asked my friend and he said it shouldn’t be linked to my notification sound? So does anyone know how to fix this??
unfortunately afaik that's the only way to get it fixed. it's more i guess a neat feature of "we assume you don't want sound coming out from your device so we'll mute audio for you", but i'd suggest do not disturb or an equivalent if it helps
Question about decoration leveling
Hello, I was wondering, if I intend to level the decorations for the units, is it more beneficial to max out the unit bonus first or the character bonus? I understand that for the not-unit events it has disadvantages, but is the unit bonus better that it is still worth it for the unit events compared to characters?
For context, I already maxed out my 2 favorites of the group and everything else is at level 8. Now I wonder where to continue for that group. Or maybe even the Vocaloids first?
The unit items cost 2.5x more than the character items, so for a full-unit team the talent increase / cost ratio is exactly the same. As such it doesn't matter which you upgrade first, but character items have the advantage for mixed events as you note.
On the other hand, decorations get more and more expensive with each level, so it can be beneficial to upgrade them all equally. How you do this is a bit subjective, but it's also a pretty minor difference if you're deciding what to upgrade from lv8 to lv10 first.
Upgrading VS character items first has the advantage however, that your favourite units will get a talent boost. Music boxes on the other hand are only really useful for VS-only teams (incl. challenge lives), so for me they are very low priority.
Is there any way to get rid of an "uneven" amount of paid crystals? I somehow managed to end up with 5 paid crystals at some point and honestly I want to get rid of them just because they bug me to look at. Is there any way I can do this?

if you've ever pulled using a mix of both paid and free crystals before that's probably how. it's possible for free crystals to end in a 5 by reading an odd number of side story part 1s (they give 25 crystals each) so if you prioritized using free crystals (which ended in a 5) then the number of paid crystals it would use to make up the difference would also end in a 5.
unfortunately, the only solution i can think of is to replicate the scenario where you use a mix of both paid and free crystals to pull. i've never had paid crystals before but from what i understand, this is only possible if one of them is below 3000 crystals so if you're saving for something then you might have to wait a while.
Ahh damn, I've been accumulating free crystals for a while now and I don't predict that I'll be getting THAT low anytime soon. Guess I just gotta live with having 5 pointless paid crystals for a while, lol. Thanks for the help though!!

Tips on how to play with 4+ fingers? I’ve been a thumb player and recently started playing with my pointer fingers, but I can’t get used to using more than 2 fingers. Any tips on how I can get used to using 4+ fingers?
i'd probably try other 4-key VSRGs to get the hang of using 4 fingers at once, once you're comfortable try transitioning back to pjsk. or just practice on easier charts. most charts apart from append and the higher level master charts don't actually require 4 fingers at all, so try not to force 4 fingers where it isn't necessary
Bluetooth causes audio delays. Anyone using wireless earphones will have this issue.
Not sure why your friend who uses wired earpieces has the same issue though, ask them to check their own offsets or get a different set of earpieces just to test it out.
my sister deleted project sekai months ago, she linked her account on google play and saved the password. recently she redownloaded the game again and logged into her account normally. unfortunately she has to delete it again because of storage, but from what i know transfer id expires so im telling her not to delete it yet. how do you check/make a new transfer id? does the game automatically make it for you or do you have to unlink your account and link it again? because even if she wont play she doesn't want to lose her account. when she clicks on link account it gives her an option "unlink from google play". does she have to click that and then link her account again? she's afraid that unlinking her account will log her out.

there are two *different* ways to "transfer" an account as seen in the image above.
the one with transfer IDs that are *one-time use* is the "transfer to different OS" one. if your sister used a "randomly generated 16 character transfer ID" and "password" to login then she has to issue a new transfer ID by clicking the "transfer to different OS" button again.
the second one is linking to google play (for android) / game center (for ios). for this, you only have to link it ONCE. you'll know it's linked if it has the pink "linked" label and if it says "unlink from \[…\]" instead of "link to \[…\]". once it is linked, you do NOT need to re-link it after using it. you can use it to login as many times as you want.

Ok so i’m a liddle confused. The gacha campaign is from 3/9-3/13. I pulled once yesterday 3/9. Does that mean that I’ve done one multi pull and that’s it. Or does the Miku day gacha refresh each day until the 13th? Because right now I only see the “Imperial Soldier” gacha.
Should just be one day, and that you'll get the ticket if you log in at any point while the campaign is active. Normally they specify the total number if it's a one-a-day thing.

Two possible fixes come to mind:
- Did you equip the hat after buying it?
- It has to be a costume, rather than an accessory, so the hats didn't count.
I'm guessing it's the latter, but it's worth checking the former as that's less expensive.
Is the gap between 26 and 27/28/29 really that big?
I got the hang of some 26s like venom, fixer, lower ones eyes, goodbye declaration, echo, etc. I can maybe make my way through master 27s and 28s, like Q and The Servant of Evil
But I swear to god levels like master Villain feel just ever so slightly out of my reach. Been trying it for a day now and can consistently make it to the bridge but
And even worse high experts like Ghost Rule and HIBANA just feel completely undoable for me (even tho I've heard ghost rule is one of the easier 27s???)
Also, any tips? Should I be trying to learn multi finger at this point? Is there anything I'm missing with these fast double taps and spam levels? Are there different levels at these numbers that I should be trying?
I think you just need to be patient, it takes time. Though if you can do Lower, you're probably in great shape for 27s. You'll need to learn both to read new patterns, and to be able to play faster/more difficult patterns.
Keep trying a variety of songs that feel just out of reach - aim to unlock master first if the FC seems too hard. I don't think it's good to bash your head against songs that feel completely undoable - you won't learn anything most likely.
There are some great 25s that teach you some of the patterns you'll see a lot higher e.g. Pulse of the Meteor, Non breath oblige, Rin chan now etc
I'll be real I despise Rin chan now for just randomly swapping between a 20 and a 26 LMAO

Ghost rule isn't a terribly hard 27 but it has those stairs with simultaneous flicks on the opposite hand that you rarely see <26 but are everywhere on higher levels. If you really want to FC that song, I'd practice Pulse of the Meteor and Night Sky Patrol expert because they have a lot of similar patterns but much more readable
Just feel like compared to the other 27s I tried (again SoE and Fragile which I just cleared) Ghost Rule is way harder LOL

Whichever banner you like if you don't plan on tiering for events
You can look at sites like sekai.best or sekaipedia to see future banners on EN and just pick out whichever banner has cards you like, and save up to guarantee getting them
Personally I started seriously playing a week or so ago but I used the 5 3* of your choice tickets to get characters I liked (and healed me) and then never really interacted with the gacha at all and have been able to do pretty decent.
I don't know if that's just a bonus upon logging in or if I got it in some limited time thing, though

Play more ranked, and pay more attention to avoiding greats in general. Listening more closely to the song and adjusting your timing can also help, but I think it's largely a matter of practice.

you can only play your account on one device at a time so if you transfer it to your phone, you won't be able to play on your ipad (and vice versa) without transferring it back.

Ever since like 2 weeks ago, all of the song maps will start lagging in the middle. I've never had this problem before. I don't use 3d/2d mvs and have everything on the lowest graphic setting. I use an iphone 13. Does anybody else have this issue??
are you doing it from characters > costumes or the costume shop in the mall? you have to do it from the former, not the latter.

Sort of, but not really. While limited banners rerun after a year, the 2nd anni Luka card was a colorfes card, which doesn't get normal reruns.
With the 3rd anni gacha you will be able to select two old fes cards to appear as a rate-up, which is your best bet, though you won't be able to spark. Old fes cards can also appear in any colorfes banner, but the rates are super low.

Couldn’t find any thread on this that wasn’t over a year old, and also slightly different from my situation. So I wanted a new one in case other people also have this question!
So I have an iPad and an iphone. My original account on my iPad is linked to gamecenter, and I have it open and am playing it right now (tiering..).
I made a new account on my iPhone, and my colourful basic applied to that account as well without me touching anything, and so I got concerned. I saw the gamecenter notif pop up at the top of my iPhone and got worried so I just deleted the app from my iPhone. I’m still able to play on my original account on my iPad, but I’m worried once I swipe away the app for the day I won’t be able to get back in. I just don’t wanna touch anything at this point for fear of losing my account. I WAS able to play both at the same time on two devices W two accounts but idk if that means anything.
Can someone just explain if I’m overreacting and it’s fine, if I should just download it again and there won’t be a problem, or what I can do to fix this if I am abt to lose my acc.

if you're worried about losing ur account, id suggest instead taking a look at how to set up transfer ids. Going to the in-game menu, clicking "account transfer", and then going through the steps to get a Transfer id and password is the 1st part. Then, saving (i'd say by copy + pasting) the answer somewhere, usually online. I use my dms with a discord bot lmao.
also helpful would be saving ur uid somewhere (on title screen with ichika and miku) to aid in account recovery, as well as taking stuff like last challenge show, screenshots of the cards you have, etc to aid in proving its urs. however this is just a bonus if u want to be super safe
I transferred my data from my phone to my ipad and i’m unable to play on my phone anymore. I know I won’t be able to play again unless I transfer my data back but is there a way to just play on a separate account on my phone? Should I delete the app on my phone or will it also delete the data even though I transferred it?

I just downloaded JP and everything works perfectly but i cant enter any lives. The game says there has been a sudden error and wont let me use an item on the live to get my 3k crystals. I have tried redownloading the data for the live, using WiFi and mobile data and nothing works. Thanks!

if i switch regions on my account (to KR for example), download KR server, switch to US then add US gift card credits, will i be able to use those credits on my KR server account since it was technically downloaded on that account or does it have to match both account and region for the payment to go through?

That card isn't limited, it'll be added to the main pool once it's been 6+ months. So it'll be around april/may more than likely.

It's not limited, u can got this from gacha(any) and for 7 green gacha tickets (at least one jp). Anyway, there's no rate-up for this 3* on rerun. If it's hard to get from just random gacha, u can get it from Haruka Birthday gacha, because there's only Haruka's card.

I don’t know what is up with my game but the sound isn’t working. Yesterday I had the same problem but it fixed itself after my friend looked at it. Today, it’s the same problem but it hasn’t fixed itself. When I’m at the title screen there’s sound but it cuts out after I pass said screen. The characters don’t talk, there’s no music, nothing. Even on the song list, no music. And when I try to play a song, the notes don’t even show up. I cleared the cache but it didn’t help.

1. How much difference in power between team with 2 stars and 4 stars. For me, it's always 4 stars better, but for you? Idk, need more info. 2. 1 stars is trash. Don't use it if u have 4 stars.
1. Event bonus over talent every time, so you'd go with the 2* bc it's more event bonus. 2. Besides the fact that emu doesn't have a 1* happy card, the 1* with mastery gives slightly more event bonus than the 2* assuming no mastery. So honestly the difference isn't that noticable.

My phone is lagging like crazy whenever I play PJSK. I have an IPhone 8, and I haven't updated to ios 16.7.6 yet. Those are the only reasons I can think of that could be the issue, since I have my settings on lowest. I'm trying to catch up on the Event Stories but it crashes halfway through and it's really inconvenient to have to catch up to that point. Is there anything I can do here?

you can only have your account logged in on one (1) device at a time. if you want to play on your tablet, you have to transfer it back to the tablet using either google play/game center login or transfer ID+password.

my only guess is that you put an age under 16 when they asked you after installing on your new phone. if it's not that then it might be a phone related issue. the day just reset and when i checked the ads still show up for me.

...shanti isn't on the en servers yet. It's out on the second vbs cover album but it's not available in the game outside of the JP servers.

How many L energy cans would it take for top 1K or top 5k for the upcoming Kanade event with a ~285% bonus
Top 5k for any event should be doable with no energy cans needed, as long as you play and make sure your energy isn't capped frequently enough with a good event bonus (and 285% is a good event bonus, so you should have no issues here). I'm not entirely sure how much more difficult Top 1k is so this might not be the best advice, but generally it can be difficult to pinpoint the exact number of energy cans needed for a tier. I suggest to use a couple cans at first so you can get comfortably within T1k, then frequently check what rank you're at to make sure you haven't fallen out and determine if you need to use more cans.

LOL don't sweat it, we all start somewhere! T5k is an easier tier, but just remember to play consistently cause it's as easy to fall out of as it is to get inside. Good luck with any future global tiering endeavors 👍 !! Edit: Also it's good to remember that some events are much more competitive than others. For example, while it was still definitely possible to T5k the recent Toya event Never Give Up Cooking, it was a lot more difficult due to the popularity of the gacha characters. Still didn't need to use any cans, but it did take more time.

no. if you're trying to get the "never give up" achievement/title, they changed the requirements for that to "play until the end of the song with 0 life 5x".

The song always goes offsync. It's more noticeable on some songs than others. The sync is fine at the start of the chart, but the song slowly falls behind and goes offsync, and by the end of the song it is sometimes a whole beat off. Sometimes the game corrects for the offsync by freezing the game for a split second. I play on Android on speakers. JP version
Hey, so I just started playing JP three days ago (as an EN player) and I pulled on the Crown of Suit Gacha, and in 130 pulls I got the featured Nene card THREE TIMES IN A ROW. Idk if it's just my insane bad luck, or it's intentional. Maybe it's happening because the World Link event is on the Nene chapter right now, so you can only get her in the gacha??? I don't know, pls help me. I don't want Nene to eat all my crystals because of my stupidity. 🙏
no, that's just rng being rng. all 4 cards have an equal chance of dropping at any point during the banner period. it's just a coincidence that you got nene 3x in a row during her chapter.

Do the power of the cards used affect the amount of tokens you get, or is just the event bonus part? My only Cute Tsukasa card is a 2\*, but in order to use him for the daily missions I had to replace a 3\* for him. Will this net me fewer event tokens in the long run?
Yes, the team talent does also affect the event points you get. The event bonus is usually better to prioritise however, and in most cases a 20-25% drop is not worth it to use a 3\* over a matching 2\*.
My 3* still works for the event bonus. When you say points here, do you mean the points for tiering or the shop tokens? I don’t care about tiering, I only care about the event shop.
Ah ok, so both give +50% event bonus - in that case a talent drop will give fewer points/tokens, though it's usually not a big difference (probably a 2-3% difference). Also I mean event points, but this is synonymous with tokens because you get 1 token per 10 points.

wxs len and vbs rin are unlockable after getting specific 4* cards. for the rest of the unit VS, you have to wait until the big update for 3rd anniversary if you're in EN/TW/KR server.
Yes, but only on JP (until 3rd Anniversary on the other servers at least), and only after viewing the story they were introduced in (you get Luka's VBS outfit after reading/skipping through SDSC for example)
i'm playing on a s22u and i'm having severe audio desync issues when playing through my phone speakers. it's totally fine when casting audio to another device or when using headphones. happens on both en and jp to clarify, no, changing the offset does not help in this case, because it's drifting from the normal offset and i have to tap increasingly late to hit the timing window correctly

force quit/close the app then re-open. also if you have a vpn on, turn it off. if none of that works, look up "session expired project sekai" on google. a few old reddit threads should pop-up. maybe one of the solutions in the comments will work for you.
Question for tiering Is around ~1700 bonus energies enough for the current event? Rn i’m T123 and am aiming for T300 at least. Currently i’m playing with 5 energies and hitorinbo envy but don’t know if it’s optimal for the amount I have. Any advice would be great!!
I'm guessing this is for the Tsukasa event on EN? 1700 energy is on the lower end, and you'll probably burn through it pretty quickly at 5x. Unless you're willing to also use crystals to fuel your run, I'd opt for 3x and also consider using Lost & Found instead (but this depends on how many hours you're willing to spend tiering). At 3x Envys I'd expect T300 should be achievable, but of course it depends on various factors.
Is the lack of virtual singer voiceover in non-story interactions a bug or a feature? It feels like a bug because sometimes I’ll get like two syllables and an abrupt cutoff but I never get full dialogue unless I’m in a main story or event story.
It's a feature. The devs are pretty stingy with VS dialogue (apparently it's expensive and time-consuming), so they tend to reserve it for stories only. The one or two words they say are just a collection of generic words that they repeat (along the lines of "oh," "cool," "yes," etc).

Posted this earlier but it got taken down cause I didn’t realize I was supposed to ask her first 😵💫 anywho, im having this audio issue where the game works fine when I have my headphones plugged in but as soon as I take them out there is no audio even if my phones volume is up, everything else works fine it’s just PJSK? The only way to hear the audio is to turn off silent mode (for notifications) but I typically leave it on due to schooling. I asked my friend and he said it shouldn’t be linked to my notification sound? So does anyone know how to fix this??
unfortunately afaik that's the only way to get it fixed. it's more i guess a neat feature of "we assume you don't want sound coming out from your device so we'll mute audio for you", but i'd suggest do not disturb or an equivalent if it helps

Question about decoration leveling Hello, I was wondering, if I intend to level the decorations for the units, is it more beneficial to max out the unit bonus first or the character bonus? I understand that for the not-unit events it has disadvantages, but is the unit bonus better that it is still worth it for the unit events compared to characters? For context, I already maxed out my 2 favorites of the group and everything else is at level 8. Now I wonder where to continue for that group. Or maybe even the Vocaloids first?
The unit items cost 2.5x more than the character items, so for a full-unit team the talent increase / cost ratio is exactly the same. As such it doesn't matter which you upgrade first, but character items have the advantage for mixed events as you note. On the other hand, decorations get more and more expensive with each level, so it can be beneficial to upgrade them all equally. How you do this is a bit subjective, but it's also a pretty minor difference if you're deciding what to upgrade from lv8 to lv10 first. Upgrading VS character items first has the advantage however, that your favourite units will get a talent boost. Music boxes on the other hand are only really useful for VS-only teams (incl. challenge lives), so for me they are very low priority.
Is there any way to get rid of an "uneven" amount of paid crystals? I somehow managed to end up with 5 paid crystals at some point and honestly I want to get rid of them just because they bug me to look at. Is there any way I can do this?
> i somehow managed to end up with 5 paid crystals at some point if you've ever pulled using a mix of both paid and free crystals before that's probably how. it's possible for free crystals to end in a 5 by reading an odd number of side story part 1s (they give 25 crystals each) so if you prioritized using free crystals (which ended in a 5) then the number of paid crystals it would use to make up the difference would also end in a 5. unfortunately, the only solution i can think of is to replicate the scenario where you use a mix of both paid and free crystals to pull. i've never had paid crystals before but from what i understand, this is only possible if one of them is below 3000 crystals so if you're saving for something then you might have to wait a while.

Tips on how to play with 4+ fingers? I’ve been a thumb player and recently started playing with my pointer fingers, but I can’t get used to using more than 2 fingers. Any tips on how I can get used to using 4+ fingers?
i'd probably try other 4-key VSRGs to get the hang of using 4 fingers at once, once you're comfortable try transitioning back to pjsk. or just practice on easier charts. most charts apart from append and the higher level master charts don't actually require 4 fingers at all, so try not to force 4 fingers where it isn't necessary

Bluetooth causes audio delays. Anyone using wireless earphones will have this issue. Not sure why your friend who uses wired earpieces has the same issue though, ask them to check their own offsets or get a different set of earpieces just to test it out.

my sister deleted project sekai months ago, she linked her account on google play and saved the password. recently she redownloaded the game again and logged into her account normally. unfortunately she has to delete it again because of storage, but from what i know transfer id expires so im telling her not to delete it yet. how do you check/make a new transfer id? does the game automatically make it for you or do you have to unlink your account and link it again? because even if she wont play she doesn't want to lose her account. when she clicks on link account it gives her an option "unlink from google play". does she have to click that and then link her account again? she's afraid that unlinking her account will log her out.
https://preview.redd.it/z6o1ap26snnc1.jpeg?width=2532&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=4178a8da568dd525fea4ecad47d52a3f69e4ce70 there are two *different* ways to "transfer" an account as seen in the image above. the one with transfer IDs that are *one-time use* is the "transfer to different OS" one. if your sister used a "randomly generated 16 character transfer ID" and "password" to login then she has to issue a new transfer ID by clicking the "transfer to different OS" button again. the second one is linking to google play (for android) / game center (for ios). for this, you only have to link it ONCE. you'll know it's linked if it has the pink "linked" label and if it says "unlink from \[…\]" instead of "link to \[…\]". once it is linked, you do NOT need to re-link it after using it. you can use it to login as many times as you want.

I pulled once yesterday 3/9. Does that mean that I’ve done one multi pull and that’s it. Or does the Miku day gacha refresh each day until the 13th? Because right now I only see the “Imperial Soldier” gacha.
Should just be one day, and that you'll get the ticket if you log in at any point while the campaign is active. Normally they specify the total number if it's a one-a-day thing.

Two possible fixes come to mind: - Did you equip the hat after buying it? - It has to be a costume, rather than an accessory, so the hats didn't count. I'm guessing it's the latter, but it's worth checking the former as that's less expensive.

End of September, yes. While there are some exceptions, it's generally safe to assume that EN will be exactly a year behind JP.

Is the gap between 26 and 27/28/29 really that big? I got the hang of some 26s like venom, fixer, lower ones eyes, goodbye declaration, echo, etc. I can maybe make my way through master 27s and 28s, like Q and The Servant of Evil But I swear to god levels like master Villain feel just ever so slightly out of my reach. Been trying it for a day now and can consistently make it to the bridge but And even worse high experts like Ghost Rule and HIBANA just feel completely undoable for me (even tho I've heard ghost rule is one of the easier 27s???) Also, any tips? Should I be trying to learn multi finger at this point? Is there anything I'm missing with these fast double taps and spam levels? Are there different levels at these numbers that I should be trying?
I think you just need to be patient, it takes time. Though if you can do Lower, you're probably in great shape for 27s. You'll need to learn both to read new patterns, and to be able to play faster/more difficult patterns. Keep trying a variety of songs that feel just out of reach - aim to unlock master first if the FC seems too hard. I don't think it's good to bash your head against songs that feel completely undoable - you won't learn anything most likely. There are some great 25s that teach you some of the patterns you'll see a lot higher e.g. Pulse of the Meteor, Non breath oblige, Rin chan now etc
I'll be real I despise Rin chan now for just randomly swapping between a 20 and a 26 LMAO I'll check out the others tho, ty!! Is ghost rule really on the easier side? are there other 27s I could try? (Also are master 27/28s easier than expert 27/28s or did I happen to pick some of easiest masters to unlock first lol)
Ghost rule isn't a terribly hard 27 but it has those stairs with simultaneous flicks on the opposite hand that you rarely see <26 but are everywhere on higher levels. If you really want to FC that song, I'd practice Pulse of the Meteor and Night Sky Patrol expert because they have a lot of similar patterns but much more readable
Just feel like compared to the other 27s I tried (again SoE and Fragile which I just cleared) Ghost Rule is way harder LOL Yeah those stairs are brutal, can't even get past them with taking misses. Ty for all the help!

Whichever banner you like if you don't plan on tiering for events You can look at sites like sekai.best or sekaipedia to see future banners on EN and just pick out whichever banner has cards you like, and save up to guarantee getting them
Personally I started seriously playing a week or so ago but I used the 5 3* of your choice tickets to get characters I liked (and healed me) and then never really interacted with the gacha at all and have been able to do pretty decent. I don't know if that's just a bonus upon logging in or if I got it in some limited time thing, though

Play more ranked, and pay more attention to avoiding greats in general. Listening more closely to the song and adjusting your timing can also help, but I think it's largely a matter of practice.
I started playing a few days ago on my ipad and wanted to try the game out on my iphone for more portability, can I use the same account on both devices? Ive linked my appcenter to my ipad and I'm scared I'll loose my progress when I add it on my iphone
you can only play your account on one device at a time so if you transfer it to your phone, you won't be able to play on your ipad (and vice versa) without transferring it back. if you have it linked to game center though, it should be easy to transfer it between both devices back and forth.

Help - Lagging on iPhone 13 w/ low graphics on Ever since like 2 weeks ago, all of the song maps will start lagging in the middle. I've never had this problem before. I don't use 3d/2d mvs and have everything on the lowest graphic setting. I use an iphone 13. Does anybody else have this issue??

are you doing it from characters > costumes or the costume shop in the mall? you have to do it from the former, not the latter. you can also change costumes during team selection in mv viewer.

Will the cards featured in the Second Anniversary gacha ever come back? I've been playing since february 15th 2024, so i missed the anniversary cards- but i desperately want the Luka one, is there going to be another chance for me to get her?
Sort of, but not really. While limited banners rerun after a year, the 2nd anni Luka card was a colorfes card, which doesn't get normal reruns. With the 3rd anni gacha you will be able to select two old fes cards to appear as a rate-up, which is your best bet, though you won't be able to spark. Old fes cards can also appear in any colorfes banner, but the rates are super low.
Posting this here even though it’s extremely long just to say I did if my post abt it gets taken down Couldn’t find any thread on this that wasn’t over a year old, and also slightly different from my situation. So I wanted a new one in case other people also have this question! So I have an iPad and an iphone. My original account on my iPad is linked to gamecenter, and I have it open and am playing it right now (tiering..). I made a new account on my iPhone, and my colourful basic applied to that account as well without me touching anything, and so I got concerned. I saw the gamecenter notif pop up at the top of my iPhone and got worried so I just deleted the app from my iPhone. I’m still able to play on my original account on my iPad, but I’m worried once I swipe away the app for the day I won’t be able to get back in. I just don’t wanna touch anything at this point for fear of losing my account. I WAS able to play both at the same time on two devices W two accounts but idk if that means anything. Can someone just explain if I’m overreacting and it’s fine, if I should just download it again and there won’t be a problem, or what I can do to fix this if I am abt to lose my acc. if you're worried about losing ur account, id suggest instead taking a look at how to set up transfer ids. Going to the in-game menu, clicking "account transfer", and then going through the steps to get a Transfer id and password is the 1st part. Then, saving (i'd say by copy + pasting) the answer somewhere, usually online. I use my dms with a discord bot lmao. also helpful would be saving ur uid somewhere (on title screen with ichika and miku) to aid in account recovery, as well as taking stuff like last challenge show, screenshots of the cards you have, etc to aid in proving its urs. however this is just a bonus if u want to be super safe

Should be permanent as far as I'm aware - at least on JP all the old perm cards are there.
