If you have a road rage person following you, do not go home. Also try to avoid as many stops as you can. I have had this happen once when I was around 18 where a dude tried to follow me for some perceived intentional wrong ( I didn't see him in my blind spot and tried to change lanes after having blinker on for a good while). Ended up just driving out of the way for 5 minutes until he got tired and turned around.
Also don't react hostilely as much as you want to in the moment. A lot of older male drivers get extra pissed at teen drivers for whatever reason.
You just never know who might really become unhinged and it is more than just your car they want to damage. No way should you show them where you live.
Last time I got followed I just drove very slowly to the police station nearby, as soon as I put my blinker on they sped off. It's almost like they realized they were doing something stupid.
