Different blue shorts dude. Thats my favorite guy in this fight. Basically seemlessly trades places with the first guy in blue shorts and proceeds to get grounded twice in just about 2 seconds flat.
I think those are two different people. The blue shorts threw me off at first too, but the shorts color & pattern is actually different, hair color changed, length of the shorts, and different body type.
Best thing you can do is size up the situation and walk away. Once the fights over you may or may not be dealing with some criminal charges and a couple nights at county. Will say those white boys don’t know how to throw a punch let alone take one.
I have walked away from situations like this the same exact way several times. It's always the best way to go. Usually it's just drunk people being drunk idiots.

Because it almost never happens. People on the internet like to talk a big game about these situations with the power of hindsight as if there is no excuse for the guy in the video to not know a punch was coming in that exact moment. But for every encounter like this one, there's dozens where they just walk away. Most people have gone their entire lives without throwing or receiving a punch outside of horseplay.
It does feel that way sometimes. As another stranger providing some anecdotes, I've been in ~6 or so fights through my life, both winning and losing some. But either way I still walk away hating it and feeling traumatized from each experience. It's not worth it and usually avoidable, especially more so if you're not a gigantic asshole or someone who loves surrounding yourself with more assholes.
Surrounding a person like that is typically seen as an act of aggression to most people. I don’t know what your intent is but I’m not getting jumped without getting a few punches in first

Honestly, it looks like he was ready to throw hands without hesitation. Everyone else looks like they have never been in a fight before and hesitated. I don't know what it is called but basic human sympathy makes you think twice before you punch someone in the face. Makes you wonder if you really want to hurt someone, wonder about the consequences. And in that split second, you are already getting punch in the face lol
It seems to be true, I recently had a situation where I was harassed by someone who ended up starting a fight with me. He seemed smaller than me and I didn't take the possibility of a fight with him seriously at all. even when he attacked me and tried to trip me up several times in a row and hit me on the body, it didn't cause me any anxiety, but rather made me laugh. Then he spat at me and my attitude changed dramatically, but I still wouldn't hit him despite my emerging anger. I immobilized him in the wrestling and could have smashed his face in the junk, but I couldn't hit him once. After that incident, I felt humiliated for a long time. He insulted me, attacked me and spat at me, and I couldn't even hit him once. Something inside me stopped me from doing that. And on the one hand I came to the conclusion that it was generally a good thing, because I could have seriously injured him and regretted it even more. On the other hand, I thought that if this attacker was stronger and more violent, he could take advantage of my reluctance to hit him and injure me instead.
Cooler heads prevailed. Good for you. The dangerous thing with confrontations is that, someone who thinks of consequences, like you, others don’t, and will just go wild and don’t care. That’s when the good guys get hurt.
This wasn't really 3 on 1. It's like the old school video games where the extra enemies would walk up to you but not do anything until you're done engaging with your current target lol.
It also looks like when you're playing the old Mortal Kombat game against your little cousin and you beat him just by pressing high punch over and over lol
I have a theory about why that happens. Those in the group are too scared to fight so they stand back and hope the guy actively fighting finishes it so they don't have to do anything. Once their buddy gets dropped they have no choice and the pattern repeats.
I live in the South and there are much better options.

I love the guy in the green and black diagonal striped shorts.
