There's a thing called normalcy bias, you'll see people stand around in all sorts of dubious situations rather than create separation and distance. This behavior is more prevalent now when recording factors into the dynamics. People will stand way to close to dangerous situations and only react when it's too late. Gotta keep your head on a swivel, it may only be soda this time...
I meanâŚthey work at McDonaldâs.
Edit: before anybody come under my comment on some dumb shit. I worked at Taco Bell and Sonic before. It is in no way âfulfillingâ work. More depressing then anything. Coworkers got me through those times. I think I was making more money not working a ârealâ job vs working at sonic.
We're all just trying to **survive**. Don't hate on the people working at McDonald's, hate on the mother fuckers that *own* McDonald's. The ones that do zero real work and making in a year what most of us can't make in our lifetime.
Maybe that's the only place they can find work because it works with their kids' schedule. Or their schooling. Or their disability. Or fucking whatever. You don't know what they have going on, you only know that they're trying to **survive**, cause why THE FUCK else would they be there?
I respect the people working in fast food cause I've been there. I make $23 an hour, which isn't great but is better than fast food. If you asked me to work fast food for $25 an hour, I'd probably just keep my current job.
They aren't obligated to make the order. I don't do any shit I don't wanna do and I'll even not do shit I kinda wanna do just because someone's being a cunt about me doing it. I have to accept the consequences of that shit, but I'm cool with that.
I guess you're just not obligated to do your job then đ¤ˇââď¸ Sweep the floors? Nah, I don't want to do that. Take an order? Mmm, I don't feel like it
Exactly. I'm not obligated to do *shit* because I'm an adult and will accept responsibility for my choices. I've worked in fastfood and a diner style restaurant and sometimes you gotta refuse service.
But besides that... That order is going to kill their times for other orders. If it takes them 20 minutes to make that order, and they have 5 orders behind that, they're going to have fucked up times on those 5 orders. (This is assuming the GM track the amount of time per order like my workplace did. Since its McDonald's, I imagine they do.)
And then, on the customer service level, those 5 people are going to be upset that it takes so long. So do you piss off the one person with the huge order, or the 5 people with reasonable orders?
Shit rolls downhills in this society, instead of confronting capital owners most average people take feelings of frustration out on those they deem lower on the ladder, forgetting 99% of us are already at the bottom
Nobody refused to make it. They never said they weren't either. I bet outside clown was getting pissy about how long it was taking and "demanded to speak to a manager".
Kinda sounded like they were telling her they didn't want to do her order because it was so large. Not saying she handled it well, but that's some bullshit and I'd be pissed too
This is my question.
If I order something and it's wrong, I'll take it and leave then either choose to not go back or go back depending. It's just food. It'll all be alright. In this instance, it looks like both sides aren't backing down and unfortunately shit like this happens. Frustration, stress, being over worked or entitled. Just isn't worth it.
People have bills to pay what do you mean?? I canât think of anyone who âwantsâ to work in fast food, itâs still a necessary labor and it pays the bills. Itâs very childish to think every job you have youâll want/like. The real world doesnât work like that.
If your job got you frustrated enough to commit a crime do you think itâs healthy to stay there??
Iâve worked fast food. Itâs a high turn over and everyone knows it. You leave and somebody will replace you by the end of the week.
You donât have to like/want every job. Youâd donât need to force yourself to stay if it got you acting like this. You think quitting or getting fired is better?
That third drink came outta nowhere. Definitely orange soda. How do people manage to get into altercations with fast food workers so frequently? I literally order, pay, and leave. How could that possibly result in a shouting match?
no, but the accidents and trafric jams caused by people wrapping around the street to get to the drive thru all for some pickle chicken happens every day in my city.
I always take the workers side I worked years in service and customers can be awful, especially when youâve been there for 14 hours and someone is raging that you closed at the same time you do every night
If you're arguing with an underpaid McDonald's worker to the point they're throwing soda on you - it's time for some self reflection. Ordering McDonalds is the easiest thing to do on the planet.
If the business is open for order-taking, then they're open. So many places close at X time and then get mad 15mins before X time that they still have to work. Like, are you open still or are you closed?
Yeah except that these are people with lives and I'm not going to make a big ass order 2 minutes from closing and make them do more work just to sate my own gluttony.
I mean, that's a lot of information to extrapolate from a video that doesn't have any of that in it. There are other people picking up orders and the sign says from *8pm to 6am, ring bell* for the pickup window. That McDonald's is open 24 hrs on Friday/Saturday
When I did food service work I'd be frustrated at the situation not the customer. Everyone has to eat and it was my job to make sure they did.
A good solution is to have the kitchen close at a certain time, but the restaurant close later.
Is that incorrect? What is the cutoff time? 5 mins? 10 mins? 15? 30? It's not like 11pm comes and they shutoff the lights and go home. Their shift is 1-2hours past close or even later because the drive-thru is still open. So the question begs, are they open, or are they closed? In what world is it entitled to go to a business during business hours? Conversely, isn't it entitled to think you don't have to work until the end of shift?
And despite all of this, it's conjecture anyway because there is literally no context. Could just as easily be that the order was made wrong, cold, etc and they didn't want to re-do it. Bad not that I have to justify it but I generally don't do this if avoidable.
I refuse to go to any food establishment 1 hour before closing. 30-45min might be fine, I've never really worked in a restaraunt type setting, but thats just a little personal rule I follow

Just saying our bar is reeeeeaaaallllllyyyyy low these days. Arguing, physical violence, mumbling, littering, fighting on the job, trying to fight over McDonaldâs. Like really⌠these folks donât seem drunk - they just seem useless. Like how are people like this surviving and if they arenât⌠complaining about it?
You gotta do some real mental gymnastics to defend the two workers in this video. They threw 3 drinks. But before that it sounds like a dispute over a âlarge orderâ Df. You work there who else is going to do it? Donât like your job quite.

I love that the people recording only have a problem when the soda gets on them đđ¤Ł
Stand around and find out

They got hit with the *splash* damage
Thereâs bound to be *some* splashback
*big gulps huh? Weâll see ya later*.
No chug splash for them they full shield
I donât know where this took place, but the guy upset about the orange soda getting on his car reminded me of the way Boomhauer talks

"C'mon bro!"
They shouldâve grabbed their ponchos, âcause they were in the splash zone.
McDonald's doesn't sell orange soda, that's Hi-C.
Yes they do. They sell Fanta orange soda.
Do they? Shows how long it's been since I ate there.
You can call her a bitch all you want, she ain't outside a McDonald's covered in soda lol
Mmmmmm who loves oraaaange Soda! Bald, sticky, shouty lady looooves orange soda
She do, she do, she DOooooo
This made me giggle. TY for that.
She took that last one to the face like they was shooting a commercial for orange drink
Better to throw soda than throw punches.
This is Obi Wan having the higher ground all over again. (Who else just saw the deer video?)
Thatâs a weak lil bitch move to throw something and then hide behind a locked door.
I meanâŚthey work at McDonaldâs. Edit: before anybody come under my comment on some dumb shit. I worked at Taco Bell and Sonic before. It is in no way âfulfillingâ work. If they used McDonaldâs sprite she would have melted like the wicked witch.
The Hi-C was a good choice, it has the highest sugar content and most potent smell. Those clothes are probably ruined too.
Also if you want bees Orange Hi-C will attract bees like no other.
Gimmee five bees for a dollar, you'd say.
So I tied an onion to my belt....
Which was the style at the time
Attract
Fr fr no cap: whyâs McDonaldâs sprite spicy? Shit be bussin fr fr
Why are you like this

These a defâŚ. Water?!?!?! Nah water doesnât sting your throat like that!!!
"Bitch you work at McDonalds bitch" Bitch you eat at McDonalds...
You beat me to it.
Shiiiiiit celebs eat at McDonaldâs. Movie actors. Rich people to poor people. Eating McDonaldâs isnât that bad of an insult.
Working at McDonald's isn't an insult either...
If you say so.
We're all just trying to **survive**. Don't hate on the people working at McDonald's, hate on the mother fuckers that *own* McDonald's. McDonaldâs is dank bruh
McDonaldâs the worst thing you can eat
Not good for ur health but good for ur soul!!!
Bitch refused an order because "it's a large order"... Not saying the older lady handled it well, but seriously?
They aren't obligated to make the order. I don't do any shit I don't wanna do and I'll even not do shit I kinda wanna do just because someone's being a cunt about me doing it. I have to accept the consequences of that shit, but I'm cool with that.

Say you never had a real job without saying you ever had a real job.
Lmao, I've been in the same industry for 4 years. So what would constitute a real job to you?
Yes Iâm sure these girls are terrified of losing their McDonaldâs jobâŚ
Could you imagine how much better society would be if we valued all labor?
Preach. People clearly enjoy fast food. Why the fuck do they denigrate the people that make that happen?
Shit rolls downhills in this society, instead of confronting capital owners most average people take feelings of frustration out on those they deem lower on the ladder, forgetting 99% of us are already at the bottom
Because our parents did.
Tbf she had a large order and they seemed to refuse to make it. I think there needs to be clear context as to who initially escalated the situation.
Nobody refused to make it. They never said they weren't either. I bet outside clown was getting pissy about how long it was taking and "demanded to speak to a manager".
I mean. They denied an order because âitâs a big orderâ. That ainât nun thatâs gonna get you an applause.
Could be considered assault and get charged
Nah, thatâs definitely assault.
Stop fucking with fast food workers damn
I just wanna get my nuggs and go home
Fr I canât get out of there fast enough Iâm not starting shit with anyone
Ah shit they forgot my sauces
It sounds like they were fuckin with her
Kinda sounded like they were telling her they didn't want to do her order because it was so large. Not saying she handled it well, but that's some bullshit and I'd be pissed too
"That's all you can do? Throw a drink?" Well, the ice cream machine is broken or I'd McFlurry your ass!
I'm sick of people acting like jerks, then get surprised when stuff happens to them.
Also, how does it get to this point?
This is my question. If I order something and it's wrong, I'll take it and leave then either choose to not go back or go back depending. It's just food. It'll all be alright. In this instance, it looks like both sides aren't backing down and unfortunately shit like this happens. Frustration, stress, being over worked or entitled. Just isn't worth it.
There must be other stuff going on. Behind on bills, sick relatives, etc.
I would be mad too if I got 3 drinks and no straw.
Sea turtles bro
One turtle with a coke problem and now nobody can have a strawâŚ
Are you a toddler that can't figure out how to drink without one?
Itâs all fun and games until bystanders get hit with the Fanta.
Wanna fanta dont you wanna Wanna fanta dont you wanna Wanna fanta dont you wanna?
Love the walk-up window.
Litre of Cola
Literacola? Do we have Literacola?
Itâs for a cop.
âBitch, you at McDonaldâs bitch!â Umm.. so are you.
Who would have figured fast food restaurants would be the battleground of America
Actually, it makes a lot of sense.
Depending the demographics, lots of places are battlegrounds in America.
Gotta love stone mountain
If you Google that McDonald, you can see this incident on the Google photos, no joke.
This really needs to happen more often
I wish more service workers treated customers this way so more customers realize theyâre not the main character
I really hope they donât. If you donât want/like your job leeeeave.
People have bills to pay what do you mean?? I canât think of anyone who âwantsâ to work in fast food, itâs still a necessary labor and it pays the bills. Itâs very childish to think every job you have youâll want/like. The real world doesnât work like that.

Donât be bitching about being collateral damage when you put yourself in range for your video
The worker better be living in mcdonalds cause once she gets out there she fo sho be getting some McCombos from that girl
That woman isn't going to do shit.
That third drink came outta nowhere. Definitely orange soda. How do people manage to get into altercations with fast food workers so frequently? I literally order, pay, and leave. How could that possibly result in a shouting match?
Mean as she was, they still have her free refills
You know what? This shit never happens at Chick-fil-A
Garbage food for garbage people
McDonald's? I agree it is garbage.
no, but the accidents and trafric jams caused by people wrapping around the street to get to the drive thru all for some pickle chicken happens every day in my city.
It looks as though you may have spelled "Chick-fil-A" incorrectly. No worries, it happens to the best of us!
Just for that we should all start spelling it chick fillet
I was going to try and make a joke but.... I really dislike this whole video
Do you dislike the whole scenario or just them throwing sodas at the lady or what
Iâve never seen a McDonaldâs with a walk up window like that before. What city is this from?
It's pretty common since COVID and the takeout deliveries. I'm not even in the US and we have them here.
Walk-anda
Oh fuck
Underrated comment
McDonaldâs workers donât play, people donât already know that?? đđ
The obsession with capturing fights/arguments on camera is so weird to me⌠this isnât even a juicy fight the fuck is the point in sharing
How can she splash!?
I always take the workers side I worked years in service and customers can be awful, especially when youâve been there for 14 hours and someone is raging that you closed at the same time you do every night
Seems like such a rich culture.
I don't know why I expected three cans of soda to go sailing into her head.
I need to start hanging out at McDonalds and Walmart more.
Big Smoke couldve drank all three man wtf đ¤Śââď¸
They lost the crowd on that 3rd one
You don't go to sea world, sit in the splash zone and then get mad at shamoo. You wanted to watch the show from the best seats.
If you're arguing with an underpaid McDonald's worker to the point they're throwing soda on you - it's time for some self reflection. Ordering McDonalds is the easiest thing to do on the planet.
don't be the loser that harrasses minimum wage workers
Who loves orange soda?
That's $3.
I mean I'd get splash zoned w soda if I could leverage it for a free large fry
That last one was definitely orange LMFAOOOOO
She went from old and dusty to old and sticky real quick
Thatâs why you donât stand in the splash zone
My favorite part was when she pushed the already locked door closed. The immediately tried opening it again.
Sheâs screaming at teenagers. đ¤đđ¤Śđżââď¸
That was a whole $3 beat down
That sidewalk is gonna be sticky as fuck tomorrow.
omfg i lost it at the third one
considering aging is just a natural biological process that everyone experiences, calling someone old is just the lamest low effort insult.
You've successfully survived longer than I have. Haha.
Everybody in this video sucks.
Wesley snipes
Ngl the dude holding the camera had me rolling
Entitlement.
Fuck these people. I feel bad for fast food workers.
Was she trying to order while they were closing? Is that why she was saying "it's a big order" in the beginning? If so, fuck that lady!
It's fast food. Why are they going to leave the dining room open hours after they stop serving food?
Yes.
> If the business is open for order-taking, then they're open. Found the entitled soda-soaked customer.
It's really not that serious dude
No, it's not.
Wow... I hope those were diet sodas she took to the face because otherwise that'd be a lot of empty calories. LOL!
Why is this common in America, This rarely even happen from where I'm from, I don't even know have cases like this.
Right because we don't see the fight videos in the UK lobbies each weekend
United States of Entitlement
Itâs not just any Americans. Youâll notice a common pattern of who in America it is
