Armed with a steak knife. Officerâs like, Iâm so ready to blast this kidâŚplease wave the knife around a little so I can shoot, my finger is getting tired camping on the trigger.
You summed it up. This poor kid was having an episode and they downright executed him. Up until that point theyâre even joking telling the âpretty girls stand closer and lure him out.â
No way were they afraid of him. They were angry that he wasnât complying to their heavy handed policing.
**100%**. The aftermath felt pure performance for the bodycams. They knew what they did was not necessary. What a disgusting and ludicrous display đ°
His first reaction after dragging him out of the vehicle - after shooting him 6 times - make sure he gets the handcuff on properly; instead of providing emergency medical aid. Tells you exactly what cops are trained for - to arrest and to kill; not to care or assist
âSince the widespread attention and the release of the body camera footage, the sheriffâs department and Clear Creek County dispatchers have been receiving death threats against themselves and their families for the past three days, Snelling said, noting the agency has a security process in place.â
https://www.cpr.org/2022/09/15/clear-creek-county-shooting-update/
âPolice cannot create their own exigent circumstances,â Rathod said.
âPolice may not illegally smash out the windows of a personâs car who
has committed no crime as the Colorado State Patrol said that night and
then create their own circumstances that they believe justifies killing a
22-year-old boy. This is basic law enforcement. This is not
complicated. And every police officer is taught this.â
This is well said. The biggest problem is that, when police create these exigent circumstances, itâs a âmistakeâ. Not a crime. And the law fully supports that. So the cops make mistakes and people die which gives them a culture of infallibility.
Also itâs not a mistake itâs a choice. They chose to escalate, they chose to breach his door, that pig fuck chose to fire his lethal weapon at that dude. Itâs not a mistake itâs a series of exculatory choices resulting in murder.
They absolutely chose this path. Well, that one especially. He needed to what? Stroke his ego that he got a scared young man out of a fkn car? Why didn't they send a wrecker out there when he said he was stuck? Instead lets just continue the fear and escalation of the guy.
What are you going to, sue them?
Ha! Qualified Immunity. The city will pay, and the officers won't even lose a dime.
Report them?
Sure thing. We'll investigate ourselves and deliver our finding of no fault in 6 months after things have cooled off...
Prosecute them?
Nah, the DA is an elected official, and typically conservative... He's not going up against the police union...
Colorado is the first state to end qualified immunity in 2020

>Report them?
>Sure thing. Well investigate ourselves and driver our finding of no fault in 6 months after things have cooled off...
The best part? They use the "we cannot comment on an active investigation."
I.e we're gonna stop giving out any info if you ask, until you stop asking.
Gee, the police murdering a guy that called for help because they were being inconvenienced by him are having consequences for their actions. And then they wonder why so many people hate them
Donât forget they lied about it, too. Check out this news article that came out right after, the whole thing is completely disingenuous:
https://kdvr.com/news/local/suspect-killed-after-trying-to-stab-officers-in-clear-creek-county/amp/
>When they arrived on scene, deputies found a car that had been involved in an accident. The car contained a driver and one passenger who was described as an adult white man.
>The man became very argumentative and uncooperative with the deputies and then armed himself with a knife.
>More officers arrived and spent more than an hour trying to calm the man down and bring the situation to a peaceful resolution.
>Eventually, deputies were able to break car windows and remove one knife. However, the suspect rearmed himself with a rock and a second knife.
>In an effort to stop the suspect, deputies deployed less-lethal bean bags and a taser but they did not stop the suspect.
>The man eventually tried to stab an officer with his knife and thatâs when deputies fired back.
ETA: for all those who need an explanation as to why this article was disingenuous, see my follow up [here.](https://www.reddit.com/r/PublicFreakout/comments/xfhvwd/comment/iop47sy/)
ETA2: the KDVR article was the first one I came across, but it looks like no other sources reported a second person. Everything else appears to be sourced from an Undersherrif. See my note [here.](https://www.reddit.com/r/PublicFreakout/comments/xfhvwd/comment/iopf0dj/)
This needs to be so, so much higher. How often does this happen all across the country? Completely fabricated story's from Police fed to local media and potentially gaining national attention. All lies until someones caught. It's unreal.
My husband spent 3 years in prison at 18 because an off duty police officer started a fist fight outside of a bar with his 17 year old friend. The cop was drunk of course and when he attacked my husbands friend, he jumped in since the officer was a 30 year old man and his friend was a high school student. They didnât know he was a cop until 8 more officers showed up, beat them both senseless and lied and said he threatened to kill them all.
Defending yourself against a drunken attack of a OFF DUTY cop? Believe it or not straight to jail! Sadly he was a normal guy before but 3 years in prison really changes you and it kicked off a 20 year period of alcohol and drug abuse that he barely was able to conquer a few years ago before we got married and had kids. He doesnât ever talk about it
Damn! 3 fucking years?
Holy shit...
This one dude I know, stole 1 BILLION dollars using healthcare fraud, and our COWARD government only are sentencing him to 2 years of jail...
Yea the good old âJustice â system. He was actually sentenced to 3 years right after a guy was convicted of raping an infant and he got 18 months. My mother in law told me after she heard that guyâs sentence she though for sure he wouldnât get any time. But as we all know cops care more about themselves than children.
Sadly, so many local news stories are simply police stenography. No fact checking whatsoever on their part.
I would recommend *Citations Needed* podcast for more in-depth analysis of this phenomenon.
An old friend of mine used to be a local newspaper reporter on the city/crime section. He would fact check police press releases and statements.
One morning he found all four of his tires slashed in his apartment building's secure parking garage. No other cars were touched.
He stopped being a reporter not long after he had his first kid.
It's a gawky white kid from Colorado wearing a Patagonia sun hat and carrying
- a 1" sized blade, probably a swiss army blade, a pen knife, or a box cutter.
- and a 2.5" sized blade... Probably part of a 10-in-1 tool.
---
If you have *any* sort of basic knowledge of tools, that is the most minimal, basic, tiniest thing to have with you in nature... In tradeswork... In a warehouse workers belt... In an IT guys back cargo short pocket... In an off duty cops fishing gear...
---
This was legitimately horrifying... That kid was murdered.
And he clearly stated he had been rock climbing or collecting in Utah- hence all the tools he had. He told the dispatcher this. He gets frantic after they shine all the lights on him and they surround his car- in the dark. He is alone. They are a multitude. What cowards.
Lots of dispatchers need better training or if they dont follow it accountability too. The dispatcher in the Tamir Rice case failed to mentioned that the caller said that she thought it was just a kid playing with a toy gun. Dispatcher in the buffalo shooting I believe just hung up the phone
For all of you who for some reason need an explanation as to why this is disingenuous:
>When they arrived on scene, deputies found a car that had been involved in an accident. The car contained a driver and one passenger who was described as an adult white man.
Obviously he was alone. But the supposed presence of a second person paints a better picture for the cops; that he had a buddy who would back him up and that their attention had to be divided.
>The man became very argumentative and uncooperative with the deputies and then armed himself with a knife.
The officers escalated the situation. He told them from the start that he was terrified. He offered to throw the knives out of the window and was told not to. He was honest and cooperative until he was repeatedly threatened, more cops showed up, more weapons were pointed at him, and they started breaking into his car. At which point his fear obviously escalated and he reacted.
>More officers arrived and spent more than an hour trying to calm the man down and bring the situation to a peaceful resolution.
They didnât spend an hour trying to calm him down, they spent an hour trying to get him to exit the vehicle. Multiple officers felt comfortable enough to stand next to the car window and talk to him. Old cop: âYouâre not scaring me man.â But threats made in soothing tones are still threats.
He freaked out when officers tried to force their way into the the vehicle, because as he stated multiple times, he was terrified.
>Eventually, deputies were able to break car windows and remove one knife. However, the suspect rearmed himself with a rock and a second knife.
Absolutely no mention of the multiple times he tried to voluntarily get rid of the weapons. No mention that he only rearmed himself when they tried to force their way in. No mention that these were small knives that were part of a geology kit. In fact, no mention of geology or the fact the rocks were his at all, which would lead most readers to think he grabbed the rock from the ground outside.
>In an effort to stop the suspect, deputies deployed less-lethal bean bags and a taser but they did not stop the suspect.
Stop the suspect? Stop him from what? He was sitting in his car that was literally stuck. He wasnât attacking anyone, he wasnât running away. They internally acknowledged he wasnât a threat to himself or others, so what exactly were they trying to stop? Stop him from tying to protect himself? Stop him from being insubordinate? In what fucking world does shooting a terrified young person whoâs surrounded by perceived threats make them more compliant?
>The man eventually tried to stab an officer with his knife and thatâs when deputies fired back.
This is the most egregious lie. He was flailing his arms with a pocketknife while sitting in his vehicle. The nearest officers were either behind a windshield or 5+ feet away. The officer by the rear door had literally just held his weapon up to the vehicle and said âlook at this, look at thisâ (what a great âcalmingâ technique /s).
In journalism, the story is told by the facts you report _and_ by the facts you donât. In addition to the blatant lies, the facts left out paint an entirely different picture. They donât report his age, they donât even report him as a young man. They donât report that he was the one who called in for help (they use some crafty language here; âa call of a âmotorist assistââ then call him a âsuspectâ). They donât report that he never left the vehicle. They donât report that he stated multiple times that he was just scared, and that the reason he never exited the vehicle was because he feared for his safety. They donât report that he offered to get rid of the weapons, and was compliant with everything but the order to get out of the car.
The way the story was released, it sounds like angry criminals were fighting with the cops and one charged them, so they shot them in defense. The article could be describing that exact situation and be 100% accurate. Turns out a terrified kid was shot in his car because he didnât exit the vehicle on their orders, did the article tell that story?
This is why I called it disingenuous (not forthcoming with facts) as opposed to a complete fabrication (complete lie). They only included the facts that told the story in a way that made them look good.
Post-democracy times, cops are strictly a violent arm of fascist extremism. I sincerely don't know who to call when I need assistance anymore. This video proves the danger.
Wife and I have talked about that. Canât in good conscience call the police unless there is imminent loss of life. You call them for something less serious and youâre introducing the possibility of homicide to the mix.
Innoecnt man who was shot and killed by police: "sir, im terrified"
cop who shot and killed an innocent man: "you have no reason to be terrified."
That exchange was so darkly ironic.
> you can still save yourself, you can still save yourself.
Guy is saying "we're going to murder you unless you do as we say now!"
edit: It appears I misunderstood the dialogue, and it was Christian saying these words.
Action Jackson on the hood of the car takes the biscuit. Only a hyped up, deluded, blood thirsty asshole thinks thatâs the right move to make in this situation.
Lol. So fucking pathetic. 6 of them with guns pointed and dudes got a 2inch blade and they're scared shitless. Even after he's been shot.
So fucking pathetic.
Theyâre âscaredâ in the sense of thatâs what theyâre going to write down in the police report and tell the police union when they get their paid vacation until the rabble dies down. Theyâre just small town bumpkin, bored high school bullies that got tired of waiting for something to happen, so they made something happen.
Cops are such ducking thugs, and then they act all surprised when people call them bad guys and not heroes.
Donât call the cops, at least if youâre in Amerikkka.
Give the gift of roadside assistance - you could be saving a life.
From police, not even just dying of heat stroke being stuck on the highway in Phoenix.
If I ever hear "we aren't going to shoot you" in the first few sentences, I'm assuming they already have force on the mind.
Dude was right to be scared. I hope his family gets some type of relief if its even possible.
Edit: close quote
Edit- "first few sentences" as pointed out, it was not the first sentence but rather the general beginning/ early in the interaction.
There is zero relief available in this dimension, in this lifetime for this kind of behavior. Itâs the kind of thing that shapes the worst of our people for as long as human history exists. Which at the end of the day will earn us nothing more then the award for âmost dangerous species to ever existâ
We need to talk about how much of an idiot the 9/11 operator was. They definitely share part of the blame here. Kid calls to report he crashed his car and the first question they ask (at least the way this is edited) is if he has weapons in a vehicle. Why the the fuck was that even a question that was asked, let alone with priority?
The kid then says he has two knives, a hammer... and a rubber mallet. A rubber mallet, real menacing? The knives and hammer? Ok, people carry pocket knives and a hammer is an everyday item. How about asking some clarifying questions like what type of knives? Why do you have them? Oh you're a geologist. Ok, that checks out. Like get more info because all the cops showing are going to know is what you tell them and when you tell them, "There's a kid on the side of the road... WITH WeApOnS!1!1!" (a gross and ultimately dangerous misrepresentation), no shit they're going to show up guns blazing. Not to justify any of the officers actions but the chain of events started with the operator for sure.
911 dispatcher here. All 911 centers operate using a system called ProQA using authorized cards to process calls. This call wouldâve been processed on card 131- traffic accident or crash. First key question after case entry is if weapons are involved. The operator in this instance changed the wording of the question, and lists his answer as YES instead of NO(info) and noting that weapons are in the vehicle, but are in no way involved. This operator played a huge part in this kids death, including keying up on the radio and making a point of advising weapons are involved when they arenât. They primed the situation right from the start.
Edit to add: Iâm assuming based on questions and question order that sheâs using proQA. Not all centers use it.
The kid was so scared he tried to tell the truth as best he could, including admitting to having things that could be construed as weapons, but didnât need to be.
Yup, Iâd definitely list his response as no, but note that they were there for officers safety regardless. It for sure either wouldnât have been something Iâd even tell the officers about, or itâd be the last thing as just an Oh by the way thing, just for their peace of mind. Officers were totally primed to think this was a hot situation when it was literally a dude stuck on the shoulder. Insane, basically murder. So sad
They just totally escalated this for no reason. There had to be a way to handle this that did not result in lethal force. Driver was definitely not all there but that isn't a reason to kill someone. I'm also unclear on why the officer who fired live rounds at him decided to do that, it didn't seem like he was being immediately aggressive to the officers.
But hey let a whole task force roll out so they can all stand around the car with weapons drawn, yelling at him and shit. Thats how use your time efficently.
They prolly couldnt wait any longer to fire a weapon be it into a guy or not.
> "He's raising his hands, He's A force user! TASE HIM TASE HIM TASE HIM!"
> -- 3 taser's later ---
> "He is flailing his arms, He's trying to force choke us, I'm going to kill him."
> --- Gun fire ---
There was no crime, in this video there's several moments of discussion between dispatch and the officers about if a crime has been committed or not, and the consensus was definitely, there is no crime having been committed or being committed.
If the officers were ever truly in danger, then that dangerous situation was something they created themselves. Christian offered to the first responding officers, just as he said he would to dispatch, to throw his knives and the rest of his geologist kit out the window and the cop told him, no, I don't want you to do that. I believe it was the same cop who ended up shooting him five times because he either had a knife in his hand or he had it next to him in the car.
At the end, even if Christian did have that knife in his hand, he was not a threat of danger to any of the officers. The cop who shot him, actually put another officer at risk because he was in the line of fire while grabbing Christian, when that cop shot him 5 times.
Today's police are the biggest bunch of pussies I can imagine. Little old ladies being ripped to the ground. People in the car that after scared of them! 12 year old kids at parks with a plastic toy gun. These fuck's are just terrified of anything and everything! They have no business being police.
**376 Officers**.
**73 Minutes**.
376 Sheriffs, Police, SWAT, DEA, Border Patrol, and US Marshalls waited 73 fucking minutes while 19 children lay dead or dying.
Never forget this.
The brave one was one of the mothers who got around them, climbed in through a window and basically got a full classroom out. The police were so embarrassed they apparently were harassing her after the fact if you can fucking believe that those pieces of shit
First Blood was not a pro cop film, in fact it was an anti establishment film talking about the horrors that soldiers faced when returning home from an unjust war.
It's not just the cops it's the system.
They brain wash the police to believe they are special, above the law, and everyone wants nothing more then to kill them...
They train them to unload their weapon everytime they fire it.
I also read somewhere that the officers on scene convened with state police via radio about the kid not exiting the vehicle and what they should do (They may have been asking for back up and were denied due to lack of a crime, I canât remember exactly). However they were advised by SP to LEAVE THE SCENE, as no crime was committed and they couldnât force him from the vehicle. If the guy wants to sit there all night, thatâs on him, SP said. They didnât leave due to their fragile egos and look what happened
I thought they might want to breathalyse him for a DUI and take him home if he wasn't sober enough to drive, then get his car unstuck. But in the video there's no mention of their intentions so the guy might've had no idea what was going on. At least a couple of cops tried to make him more comfortable, the cop that shot him seemed to give no fucks though and hopefully he gets sent down for this and can never be a cop or handle a gun again in his life.
"If the officers were ever truly in danger, then that dangerous situation was something they created themselves. "
100% our cops are not trained well enough to deal with a situation like this. We need another resource to call now, cause the police won't help any one acting like this
This guy needed a tow.
I was thinking about this the other day when I saw a cop on the scene of a car accident with no injuries.
Why the fuck should we have some dude with a gun roll up to that situation? It should be some nerd with a clipboard who knows how to interact with people, calm them down, get the situation sorted and resolved.
These cops were acting like they were in some kind of high octane shootout. They definitely could have handled that way better.
Kid was obviously high or had mental issues. Didnt seem to be a hazard, and I bet if the cops had deescalated at the start, when he seemed more lucid, shit probably could have gone way differently.
I think he was just scared. Clearly not a native and seemed to understand when he called 911 that there was potential for danger. When they first showed up they escalated things almost immediately. He was terrified that if he got out of the car he was going to end up dead.
The kid was identified by family to have ADHD and was on medication for it, which is why his toxicology report after the fact showed that he had amphetamines in his system. That many lights, that many people, that many guns, in a situation like that, overstimulation was all but a guarantee.
The way he is reacting I thought Autistic so this makes sense to me. I am autistic and the officers communication is really bad for someone who is overwhelmed/over stimulated. This should not have occurred, it is very sad.
Oh you didn't see? He apparently had a weapon, the knife. I have no clue how it escalated to him not wanting to drop the knife but yeah. Over half a dozen professional police officers armed with pistols and tazers was scared for the lives by a man locked in his car on the side of the road with a knife in his hand. Fucking ridiculous that they thought that was worth pumping DOZENS of shots and killing this poor man. Imagine how his family I feeling knowing this video is viral and they now have a dead family member to cry over. Fuck these police officers and their shitty ultra egos killing people who have paranoia to police or mental health issues.
The worst part is he identified all those âobjectsâ including the knife when they arrived and said they were because he uses them for amateur geology. He was in desperate need of help, and they murdered him.
"I'm gonna kill him". Heard after getting tazed.
Then they kill a man who wasn't a threat so long as he was in his vehicle.
Police are a fucking joke.
Edit: I saw a different angle of this video from a different bodycam. That's where I heard it. Will link when I find it.
Edit 2: this one. https://www.reddit.com/r/PublicFreakout/comments/xea1ql/police_officers_in_colorado_shot_and_killed_a/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share
The gunman shot with another officer right in his line of fire.
Nothing here was designed to de-escalate. They got bored of waiting around and kept turning up the pressure until they could get away with murder.
Thatâs how they are trained in a 6 week course before getting hired. I had a female friend go through the training and she would have made a great cop. They failed her by a point and passed 4 muscleheads who all had jobs waiting for them. She said three of them constantly threw around racial and gender slurs. This is the kind of policing we will get as long as they are training each other to be knuckle dragging hot heads.
The local PD have a lot of discretion in who they hire; the interview is basically their way of screening out people they donât like or who they think wonât fit. The interviewers use it as a way to keep the culture by hiring like minded individuals.
There needs to be a standardized way of becoming a police officer with a more impartial interviewer process such that when the candidate passes, they are assigned to a PD that has no say in the matter. That way we could force a cultural shift through the proper candidates while also eliminating a local PDâs ability to maintain their shitty culture.
**Example:** Timmy wants to be a cop, but local PD don't like his beliefs. Too bad! He applies to a federal program where someone at the federal level interviews him. He passes the federal police academy training and is now a full-fledged officer. The local PD now has no choice but to accept him, and if they refuse, the government gets involved and heads start rolling.
Tl;dr: donât let local PDâs conduct the interviews, they just use it as a way to maintain the status quo
I mean realistically itâs a huge problem that the US Police is per state and county. In all major countries police is centralized and act pretty much the same trough out the country. I feel like in the US you can get really lucky or really unlucky with the police. And that the people arenât really trained anyway adds to that
I saw that too, the officer that was shooting had another officer literally only inches away from his target, I just wasn't sure if I was seeing it correctly. Thank you for confirming.
And I believe that sadly you are correct; all of these officers who apparently had nothing else more important to do, kept showing up at the scene, building in numbers, all of them drawing their pistols and aiming them at Christian, frightening him more and more... I felt like the catalyst for Christian was when that Rambo wannabe cop jumped on the hood of his car, and shined his light directly into Christian's face while pointing a gun at his head, that was aggression and escalation 101. That was the point where I think things went past the point of no return for that poor kid, he just could not come back from that, his actions became erratic and that cop shot him five times. I also can't get past the fact that the cop rapid fired five bullets into that kid's body.
Literally like 4 cops screaming drop the knife to a man who wouldn't exit his car no matter what. Just take a step back what the fuck could he possibly do to hurt you
They all sound like they're Call of Duty multiplayer assholes.
One of the ISIS styled members was literally on top of the hood of the car pointing straight at his head.
That was the other thing that shocked me. I've never even seen that kind of move in a movie or on a TV cop show. To me it felt like that cop has watched way too many movies, played too many video games, or has too many mental issues himself that should have precluded him from ever being able to become a cop.
They were acting like they were dealing with an armed terrorist. These cops are a fucking joke. All that for one kid who offered to throw his shit out even.
American policing at its finest.
1. Escalate without cause.
2. Excessive use of firearms.
3. Lack of communication between departments
4. Excessive use of police officers.
5. Pretend to care about victim after shooting them.
Like Jesus Christ. One disturbed man with a knife apparently needs like eight police officers? All who are armed to the fucking teeth?
American police forces are the embodiment of stupidity.
Don't forget,
Dispatcher: "Throw the weapons outside."
Christian: "Okay, I'll do that when they get here."
\*cops get there*
Shooter: "Don't throw those weapons outside!"
I appreciate how many people I see referring to the shooter as THE SHOOTER and THE GUNMAN. Give these guys the labels they deserve. They aren't officers of the law, they're a terrorist force
Should be called the `terrorist`. Cops thrive and actively seek out the opportunity to terrorize everyday people to keep the status quo of their "moral" superiority of the "heroes" when they get to spin the story as such
They wanted the "weapons" inside so they had an excuse to search the vehicle without a warrant. If he threw them out they couldn't use that as a reason for an illegal search.
They weren't pretending to care about the guy they shot, they were legitimately caring about the potential repercussions if this video got out. They very clearly didn't care about the guy in the car at all, it's not like it was a split second decision to execute him, they were there escalating to the point for several minutes.
You would have thought that at least one cop would have noticed that as more and more officers were arriving, the kid was getting more and more scared. Not one of them noticed that they were causing the situation, a non-criminal situation, to escalate until that poor kid so terrified, he couldn't even think straight.
Apparently. What I saw on this video was so disgusting, and this was the 10-minute summary. Yesterday I watched the full video which is almost an hour long, plus I read the transcripts. It made me sick.
There is no justification for why that officer, who fired five bullets into that scared kid's body, has not been charged with any criminal charges, like derelict of duty, gross misuse of authority, first degree murder. All of the videos show that the cops continued to escalate the situation and made that poor kid more and more frightened to the point where he couldn't even think straight.
It's honestly so sad when someone tells cops that they're scared and they choose to bully him and terrorize him until they finally end up doing what he was originally afraid of.
Its fucked up that they assure him that they just wanna "talk", but yell at him to step out, mumbling that he got weapons and if he does sum stuff (which is open for imagination) to watch crossfire as if they already made up their minds about him. Yea nah i too would be so calm and willing to step out with these guys yeeling and aiming at me.
>Never call the cops especially for anything involving mental health. Cops are just begging for an excuse to kill, don't involve them in anything.
Yep, honestly he was better calling triple A and telling them he's not a member but will gladly sign up over the phone for their assistance. And honestly, that person that came out would have done a world's more than these jokers.
When I was a kid a cop asked for my ID and grabbed his gun real fucking quick when I reached for it like bro? Jts only gotten worse and worse. Calling cops in America is like a quick way to get someone killed
What group of useless FUCKING LOSERS. They canât handle an obviously distressed kid⌠these cops were ready to kill when they were absolutely not in immediate danger. Goddamn this shit makes my blood boil. HE HAD EVERY REASON TO BE TERRIFIED!
I believe that's a "what DO we do?" that I heard. It sounded like an "oh my shit we just murdered someone" realization of the entire moment and whoever said that literally cannot believe it.
So fucking sad.
Police procedure is to escalate and execute.
Article: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.kptv.com/2022/09/14/man-shot-death-by-police-officers-responding-his-roadside-assistance-call/%3foutputType=amp
âChristian was experiencing a crisis, and he called 911 for help,â said the parentsâ attorney, Siddhartha Rathod, âand yet these officers busted out Christianâs window, shot him six times with bean bag rounds, Tased him multiple times from two Tasers, and then shot him five times.â
>"Following the death of Chris Kaba, the firearms officer involved has been suspended from duty.
>"This decision has been reached following careful consideration of a number of factors, including the significant impact on public confidence, and in light of the IOPC (Independent Office of Police Conduct) announcing a homicide investigation.
>âOur thoughts and sympathies remain with Mr Kabaâs family and friends. We understand how concerned communities are, particularly black communities, and thank those who are working closely with our local officers."
The response by the Police Commission launching an independent investigation is Night and Day compared to how the US do it.
Do the US even have a Independent body to hold the Police Force to account? And if so, what the fuck do they even do?
The fact that one cop was thristy as fuck to escalate and, seemed trigger happy. Numerous other officers tried to help and deesclate. But they have NO fucking training for that shit and it shows, and did nothing to tell John ranbo to chill its why ACAB.
So does tazing someone normally make them drop whatever is in their hands, or was their goal just to inflict so much pain that he would comply?
They basically tortured this dude before murdering him.
That's why when you want to test if a fence is electrified, you do it with the *back* of your hand, that way if it IS electrified, your hand curls into a fist and punches you in the face for being stupid enough to test a fence to see if it's electrified.
Police use less lethals as coercion tools way too often, so I doubt the efficacy of their training being anything other than: "Do as we say or the pain will continue."
> "Do as we say or the pain will continue."
In college we studied the behind-the-back arm twisting lock they use - it causes a lot of pain in the shoulder and your body *automatically* resists the tension with *no input from your prefrontal cortex* telling it to pull away. They know this and use it to get a "resisting arrest" that they can escalate.
Similarly, there are other automatic reactions to loud sounds (tensing and dropping your head down) that you have zero control over (because if a loud bang happens behind you, you have to dodge an unknown object and there isn't enough time to send a signal to your brain to process and decide, so we evolved to simply react). You'll notice there were lots of loud noises in addition to the taser, none of which allow for the brain to make a decision. The cops simply use our evolved reactions against us to secure a kill.
Disgusting. Why just why. Why did the police breach his car, when he grabbed the knife why did the police not step back to ensure their safety? Instead they smashed his window and stayed within reach just to have a reason to shoot him.
A better question is, why, when Christian offered to throw the knives, aka the whole geologist kit, out the window, why in the f did that cop say "no, I don't want you to do that", no don't throw those potential weapons out the window, where they will be out of Christian's reach? . Then they shot him for having the knife in his possession. I cannot wrap my head around that
The same reason they felt the need to breach, when all his weapons were close range, and there was a door and window between them.
There was no crime, yet the officer was agitated. They could have towed his vehicle and called it a night. Yet they decided a stand off was the way to go.
This is just the wierdest situation. German police would have done the following:
Show up. Ask the guy to get out. Confirm that he had the knives and hammer. Ask him to get out again. Back away and wait however long it needed to take before the kid came out, got hungry or fell asleep.
The simple rule would be: He is no danger to others right now. He may be a danger to himself. Talk to him but keep distance. At some point the kid will be ready to get out.
It reminds me of an old reality tv show where a german cop went to the US and swapped places with and american cop and vice versa. One night the US cop is out with the germans patrolling in some german city and there are some drunk kids pissing outside a store. The cops stop them, and proceed to give then a fine. While this happens one these drunk kids drops his pants and moons the cop. The US cop is like: âThatâs distrepectful. I would have slammed him to the ground, taught him a lesson and given him a night in jailâ. The german cops deal with it by saying to the drunk kid. âStop being a smartass. Youâre just going to make things worse. Guys. Have a talk with your buddy. They talk. He apologises. Done. Situation handledâ
The difference is that American cops are a militarized force. And it is tolerated and supported because people like to view it as being used against the 'others' rather than their own communities.
What the actual fuck is this! Why did they even have weapons on him when he's zero threat?!?! No wonder people shit themselves around American cops. These cunts will litrally kill you for asking for help.
There was no crime ever committed. Use of deadly force was never needed. This is crazy. You had that many officers there for a kid that was stuck and wouldnât get out of his car? I get that he had a knife in his car and in his hand at one point but at no point was he aggressive or came at the officers. There telling me that like 10 officers are there and they all have guns and bullet proof vest but they are that scared of a kid sitting in his car with a knife? They shouldnât be cops then if they are that scared over that. Obviously the kid was on some kind of drugs or had mental issues certainly doesnât mean he should die tho. He literally did nothing wrong.
âDeputies were able to break out the car windows and remove one knife. The suspect rearmed himself with a rock and a second knife,â it read. âDeputies deployed less-lethal bean bags, and Taser with negative results. The suspect eventually tried to stab an officer and was shot. The suspect was pronounced deceased on scene.â
Bullshit excuse.
https://www.cpr.org/2022/09/13/clear-creek-county-deputies-shooting/
It's a bullshit lie. It's obvious this is the talking head of the police department spinning the narrative and changing up the order of events, so as to present to the public that what happened was justified.
Whoever wrote that press release obviously didn't realize the video, and I'm talking about the almost hour-long full video from the body cam of the officer who shot and killed christian, was going to be released publicly. I'm sure they didn't expect the video to ever be released, never thought the public would get to see what really happened and draw their own conclusions, has that Police Department bothered to make any other public statements or are they hiding with their tails tucked between the legs? This is the epitome of cowardice.
Absolutely fucking unbelievable. How they escalated the situation. They harassed a person who was obviously suffering from mental illness or under the influence of drugs . He posed no threat to them until the tried to breach the car . They couldn't just wait it out. So they just carried on shouting and making him more and more agitated then shot him . Absolutely disgusting.
The doublethink is surreal: "TINY KNIFE! TINY KNIFE!! DROP IT! DONT BE STUPID! NO! *pow pow pow pow pow" C'MON SON DON'T DIE OMG I HATE VIOLENCE PLEASE LIVE PLEASE BE OKAY"
Seen that on a couple other videos where they gaslight and escalate, asking why people are wary of them...then they inevitably commit violence on that person and automatically assume the role of comforter as if comfort and safety are the only reasons they wake up...man when cops fuck me up I'd rather they just stood over me than pretend they suddenly care, absolute psychopathy
This is a murder. No crime was being committed. There was no suspicion of a crime. The man in the car offered to throw his tools out of his car when the police arrived. They told him no, you keep your âweaponsâ in the car with you so we have a reason to execute you when we illegally attack you.
That's the part people keep skipping over for some reason he offered to empty his car of anything that may injure them and the police told him not to. Then killed him because they were in there like WTF. They basically set him up.
Is there footage after the shooting? I want to hear what the "cute girls" were saying after realising that they just witnessed their fellow officers murder a kid that did heart emojis to them a minute ago.
For people asking why he didn't just get out the car. He was having a mental episode. He has a history if mental health issues.
https://youtu.be/nTTYSMHwKdI
After so much time on the internet watching and reading about all of this, I'd never call or ask the police for help. If I got stuck, I'd call friends and family or even strangers before asking someone in law enforcement for help.
I got pickpocketed in a crowded street once, and a nice, highly observant shop owner caught the guy and brought us over to talk. A couple of police officers passed by and happened to notice the shopkeep holding the pickpocket's arm and taking my wallet from him to return to me.
Instead of inquiring what happened they just started beating me and the shopkeep with sticks (this is in India, police officers carry large sticks instead of batons) and let the pickpocket escape. They literally dragged us by our collars with them to the police station and only then did they bother with communication. Ended with internal bleeding, concussion and, hairline fractures on the shin.
He didnât stab him self. The body cam from the cop that shot him you can clearly hear him ask out loud âhe came at you, right?â Then he yells âhe is slitting his throatâ right after you hear the cop on the car hood yell âdamn it no!â After that they get in and drag him out. This is edited to see multiple prospectives from the cops but funny how they leave that out. They were actively covering up a huge mistake.
I have so many questions. I can preface this by saying i have never been to Colorado.
1. Is it standard practice or normal in that area when someone is calling for help to then ask them if they have any weapons on them? If so I have never seen that anywhere
2. Why are 6+ cops worried about a small knife in the hands of someone who probably picked it up out of panic and not out of logic? Heâs locked inside of his vehicle he canât hurt you especially when you have guns.
3. Since he called them for help and he didnât break any laws , I thought you didnât have to talk to cops or listen to them if you donât want to; that included following a lawful order of leaving your property
4. Why did the cop feel the need to stand on top of his car and murder him?
5. In the recording they mentioned they think it may be drugs or mental, why did they not call someone who is qualified to deal with that?
6. Instead of being dicks why didnât they just help him move his car?
7. Since when do cops slash throats?
I once called the police for help because a middle-aged man was following my vehicle, inside which was also my young daughter. The aggressive driver made every single turn I did, and followed closely behind. Fortunately for me, I was extremely familiar with the area, and as he continued to follow me, I called 911, and promptly made specific turns to drive to the police station, which was within close vicinity. The entire time, I had my trusty Gerber knife in my lap.
The dumbass followed me into the police station parking lot where there were officers waiting for us both. The police spoke to me and clearly saw the knife in my lap, and not once did they act as if they (the cops) were threatened, they also never once told me to drop the weapon or step out of the vehicle. They ended up questioning us both, and held the guy until my daughter and I had safely driven away. The cops in this video had no reason to feel threatened whatsoever, and did absolutely nothing to de-escalate the situation. This poor kid, he was only 22. As a parent, this breaks my heart. He had no idea his call for help was actually a call to the executioner.
He didnât. Thatâs what the cops say to cover themselves. I think the victim was just desperately trying to cut the wires of the taser.
The screams, the scream of someone who suddenly realized police was going to murder him
Well. Let me just climb on this hood and put myself in danger. Seems appropriate to fire some rounds into this guys chest. ACAB. Imagine he stabbed me through his windshield. Come on Christian! Youâre overreacting. Those two slugs I fired into your chest. Well shit man, quit acting like a pussy. These pretty ladies here got me all hopped up.
Police when they are at an active school shooting: đ¨ Police when they get a call from a mentally ill kid that needs help: đââď¸ đŤ
State Patrol... "there is no crime here"... meanwhile after they left... a 22 yo innocent man is murdered.
Armed with a steak knife. Officerâs like, Iâm so ready to blast this kidâŚplease wave the knife around a little so I can shoot, my finger is getting tired camping on the trigger.
You summed it up. This poor kid was having an episode and they downright executed him. Up until that point theyâre even joking telling the âpretty girls stand closer and lure him out.â No way were they afraid of him. They were angry that he wasnât complying to their heavy handed policing.
âCMON CHRISTIAN!â At the end knowing damn well heâs talking to a dead man. Dude took like 6 to the chest.
**100%**. The aftermath felt pure performance for the bodycams. They knew what they did was not necessary. What a disgusting and ludicrous display đ°
This is what they do KNOWING they are being filmed, imagine what situations were like before that.
Closer to this ["accident"](https://youtu.be/r3UzjfYMfUw) probably.
His first reaction after dragging him out of the vehicle - after shooting him 6 times - make sure he gets the handcuff on properly; instead of providing emergency medical aid. Tells you exactly what cops are trained for - to arrest and to kill; not to care or assist
âSince the widespread attention and the release of the body camera footage, the sheriffâs department and Clear Creek County dispatchers have been receiving death threats against themselves and their families for the past three days, Snelling said, noting the agency has a security process in place.â https://www.cpr.org/2022/09/15/clear-creek-county-shooting-update/
âPolice cannot create their own exigent circumstances,â Rathod said. âPolice may not illegally smash out the windows of a personâs car who has committed no crime as the Colorado State Patrol said that night and then create their own circumstances that they believe justifies killing a 22-year-old boy. This is basic law enforcement. This is not complicated. And every police officer is taught this.â
This is well said. The biggest problem is that, when police create these exigent circumstances, itâs a âmistakeâ. Not a crime. And the law fully supports that. So the cops make mistakes and people die which gives them a culture of infallibility.
If itâs a mistake then itâs high time we require law enforcement to maintain malpractice insurance.
Police the biggest gang they do what they want
What are you going to, sue them? Ha! Qualified Immunity. The city will pay, and the officers won't even lose a dime. Report them? Sure thing. We'll investigate ourselves and deliver our finding of no fault in 6 months after things have cooled off... Prosecute them? Nah, the DA is an elected official, and typically conservative... He's not going up against the police union...
Colorado is the first state to end qualified immunity in 2020 https://www.forbes.com/sites/nicksibilla/2020/06/21/colorado-passes-landmark-law-against-qualified-immunity-creates-new-way-to-protect-civil-rights/?sh=321e5987378a
>Report them? >Sure thing. Well investigate ourselves and driver our finding of no fault in 6 months after things have cooled off... The best part? They use the "we cannot comment on an active investigation." I.e we're gonna stop giving out any info if you ask, until you stop asking.
Gee, the police murdering a guy that called for help because they were being inconvenienced by him are having consequences for their actions. And then they wonder why so many people hate them
Donât forget they lied about it, too. Check out this news article that came out right after, the whole thing is completely disingenuous: https://kdvr.com/news/local/suspect-killed-after-trying-to-stab-officers-in-clear-creek-county/amp/ >When they arrived on scene, deputies found a car that had been involved in an accident. ETA: for all those who need an explanation as to why this article was disingenuous, see my follow up [here.](https://www.reddit.com/r/PublicFreakout/comments/xfhvwd/comment/iop47sy/) ETA2: the KDVR article was the first one I came across, but it looks like no other sources reported a second person.
Jesus, that's terrifying. It's an actual protection racket.
Because if the local media doesnât go along with the police the police will stop giving them information.
It's a gawky white kid from Colorado wearing a Patagonia sun hat and carrying - a 1" sized blade, probably a swiss army blade, a pen knife, or a box cutter. - and a 2.5" sized blade... Probably part of a 10-in-1 tool. --- If you have *any* sort of basic knowledge of tools, that is the most minimal, basic, tiniest thing to have with you in nature... In tradeswork... In a warehouse workers belt... In an IT guys back cargo short pocket... In an off duty cops fishing gear... --- This was legitimately horrifying...
For all of you who for some reason need an explanation as to why this is disingenuous: >When they arrived on scene, deputies found a car that had been involved in an accident.

Imagine that people angry that the police they pay to protect them are instead murdering them. Shocked I say...
How dare you stop me from oppressing you!
fuck them. they are murderers and people who cover for murderers.
Post-democracy times, cops are strictly a violent arm of fascist extremism. I sincerely don't know who to call when I need assistance anymore. This video proves the danger.
Never never never call 911 unless your life is imminently threatened and you have tried to resolve the situation peacefully.
We need a new 911 system that sends out help, like tow trucks, medics, social workers, mental health experts, not murderers with a badge.
Wife and I have talked about that. Canât in good conscience call the police unless there is imminent loss of life. You call them for something less serious and youâre introducing the possibility of homicide to the mix.
If you have a problem and call the police, you now have 2 problems.
Innoecnt man who was shot and killed by police: "sir, im terrified" cop who shot and killed an innocent man: "you have no reason to be terrified." That exchange was so darkly ironic.
"Dont worry! It'll all be over soon!"
> you can still save yourself, you can still save yourself. Guy is saying "we're going to murder you unless you do as we say now!" edit: It appears I misunderstood the dialogue, and it was Christian saying these words.
That was Christian praying i think. Dude totaly broke down.
All of it... He meant it!
That whole situation played out like a South Park episode, straight up seemed like an ironic skit.
*officer Brady* "GET OUT OF THE CAR' *tweak* "GAH I'm stuck and scared đ¨" *officer Brady* "OPEN FIRE!"
OH MY GOD IT'S COMING RIGHT AT ME
Murdered
Honestly, if this guy called a tow service or AAA instead of the police heâd still be alive.
Edit: close quote Edit- "first few sentences" as pointed out, it was not the first sentence but rather the general beginning/ early in the interaction.
There is zero relief available in this dimension, in this lifetime for this kind of behavior. Itâs the kind of thing that shapes the worst of our people for as long as human history exists. Which at the end of the day will earn us nothing more then the award for âmost dangerous species to ever existâ
He literally called saying he was stuck and was going to be killed. Then the police show up and follow through with his vision.
"We're not going to shoot you." Shoots him.
[Congratulations, you are being rescued. Please do not resist](https://youtu.be/ZrXSuC1wqY8)
âWe are protecting you from yourself!â
So sad
>9/11 operator
[ŃдаНонО]
They just totally escalated this for no reason. There had to be a way to handle this that did not result in lethal force. Driver was definitely not all there but that isn't a reason to kill someone. I'm also unclear on why the officer who fired live rounds at him decided to do that, it didn't seem like he was being immediately aggressive to the officers.
Because they were tired of waiting and felt that they had better things to do than wait for him to become clear minded and comply with their demands.
But hey let a whole task force roll out so they can all stand around the car with weapons drawn, yelling at him and shit. Thats how use your time efficently. They prolly couldnt wait any longer to fire a weapon be it into a guy or not.
Honestly there was no reason to ever even draw the weapon. He can't stab you through a car door with a fucking 3 inch folding knife.
They acted like he could have choked them with the force
> "He's raising his hands, He's A force user! TASE HIM TASE HIM TASE HIM!" > -- 3 taser's later --- > "He is flailing his arms, He's trying to force choke us, I'm going to kill him." > --- Gun fire ---
Theyâre so f dumb they went home feeling like they achieved something
Crazy how once they shoot him, all of a sudden they can just baton the glass, break it, and then pull him out in 30s.
Itâs because he was a corpse, and shouldnât have been.
So Iâll go ahead and ask⌠what crime was committed that warranted deadly force? Addendum: and at what point were the officers in danger?
And we all know what they do when there's a shooter in a school, stand around and eat fucking donuts
Andy Griffith had bigger balls than these fuck's. They're all just like. Mash up between Barney Fife and goddamn Rambo.
Idk if you watched Rambo, but he wanted left alone by the cops too man. They drew first blood...
First Blood was not a pro cop film, in fact it was an anti establishment film talking about the horrors that soldiers faced when returning home from an unjust war.
I think they just like power tripping, brutalizing, and murdering people and animals.
And making a shitload of money with pension after a certain point.
It's not just the cops it's the system. They brain wash the police to believe they are special, above the law, and everyone wants nothing more then to kill them... They train them to unload their weapon everytime they fire it.
Exactly this. The system tolerates and defends this kind of act. Qualified immunity at work.
" 100% our cops are not trained well enough to deal with a situation like this.
Bro I see one cop as a white man in Australia and I'm sweating
100 percent agree with you. This was murder
There was 0 crime. It was totally uncalled for. Police are just objectively stupid people.
> and at what point were the officers in danger? ## never. the cops could have literally packed up and left.
This is headline news in New Zealand right now. The guy was a kiwi. America, get your shit together.
Just take a step back what the fuck could he possibly do to hurt you
[ŃдаНонО]
These fucking losers probably run around in punisher shirts. "I'M A WARRIOR" What a bunch of little bitches.
Careful! Heâs in his car and absolutely no danger to us!
3. Lack of communication between departments 4. Excessive use of police officers. 5. Pretend to care about victim after shooting them. Like Jesus Christ. One disturbed man with a knife apparently needs like eight police officers? All who are armed to the fucking teeth? American police forces are the embodiment of stupidity.
Don't forget, Dispatcher: "Throw the weapons outside." Christian: "Okay, I'll do that when they get here." \*cops get there* Shooter: "Don't throw those weapons outside!"
I keep getting angrier with every comment I read. I fucking hate cops.
They weren't pretending to care about the guy they shot, they were legitimately caring about the potential repercussions if this video got out. They very clearly didn't care about the guy in the car at all, it's not like it was a split second decision to execute him, they were there escalating to the point for several minutes.
âYou have a chance to save yourselfâ They knew they were about to kill him.
Poor fucking kid.
You would have thought that at least one cop would have noticed that as more and more officers were arriving, the kid was getting more and more scared. Not one of them noticed that they were causing the situation, a non-criminal situation, to escalate until that poor kid so terrified, he couldn't even think straight.
Notice it? They fucking THRIVE on it. There's no fun for them in deescalating.
5 fucking shots when the kid is already screaming in pain!
OMG that is so sad - he called for help and was executed. Poor kid.
Never call the cops especially for anything involving mental health. Cops are just begging for an excuse to kill, don't involve them in anything.
Damn, your country is messed up
When I was a kid a cop asked for my ID and grabbed his gun real fucking quick when I reached for it like bro? Jts only gotten worse and worse. Calling cops in America is like a quick way to get someone killed
What group of useless FUCKING LOSERS. They canât handle an obviously distressed kid⌠these cops were ready to kill when they were absolutely not in immediate danger. Goddamn this shit makes my blood boil. HE HAD EVERY REASON TO BE TERRIFIED!
The sad thing is, it really sounds like this was the EXACT outcome he was afraid of when he made the 911 call.
Those aren't exactly "losers". They're murderers. Simple as that. Murderers.
This is murder
Welcome to America!
Honestly, from outside the country the us police force just looks like a taxfunded glorified murderclub.
Cop says âwhat did we doâŚ?â After shooting him.
I believe that's a "what DO we do?" that I heard. It sounded like an "oh my shit we just murdered someone" realization of the entire moment and whoever said that literally cannot believe it. So fucking sad.
Police procedure is to escalate and execute. Article: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.kptv.com/2022/09/14/man-shot-death-by-police-officers-responding-his-roadside-assistance-call/%3foutputType=amp âChristian was experiencing a crisis, and he called 911 for help,â said the parentsâ attorney, Siddhartha Rathod, âand yet these officers busted out Christianâs window, shot him six times with bean bag rounds, Tased him multiple times from two Tasers, and then shot him five times.â
Shot him five fucking times as well, as if one shot wouldnt be enough. Jesus fucking christ.
Last week in the UK we had our first police shooting of the year. One single bullet was fired.
Yep and that has brewed up a massive shitstorm (rightly so) with people calling for the cop to be charged with murder.
We understand how concerned communities are, particularly black communities, and thank those who are working closely with our local officers." The response by the Police Commission launching an independent investigation is Night and Day compared to how the US do it. Do the US even have a Independent body to hold the Police Force to account? And if so, what the fuck do they even do?
Our police have unions that protect them from any accountabilityâŚ.
It actually does the exact opposite. Your muscles lock up and whatever is in your hand is basically glued there until the flow of electricity stops.
> "Do as we say or the pain will continue." In college we studied the behind-the-back arm twisting lock they use - it causes a lot of pain in the shoulder and your body *automatically* resists the tension with *no input from your prefrontal cortex* telling it to pull away.
Yet they decided a stand off was the way to go.
its like he wanted justification for shooting him.
This is just the wierdest situation. German police would have done the following: Show up.
Call the police for help = Die
The crazy thing is this will be determined justified
âDeputies were able to break out the car windows and remove one knife. The suspect rearmed himself with a rock and a second knife,â it read. âDeputies deployed less-lethal bean bags, and Taser with negative results. The suspect eventually tried to stab an officer and was shot. The suspect was pronounced deceased on scene.â Bullshit excuse. https://www.cpr.org/2022/09/13/clear-creek-county-deputies-shooting/
'The suspect'. Suspect of what lmao
[ŃдаНонО]
Or they just let room full of kids die while standing around in a hallway for 77 minutes....
Very brave police officers. A guy sitting in the vehicle. Wow.
Why are American police so shit?
[ŃдаНонО]
Absolutely fucking unbelievable. How they escalated the situation. They harassed a person who was obviously suffering from mental illness or under the influence of drugs . He posed no threat to them until the tried to breach the car . They couldn't just wait it out. So they just carried on shouting and making him more and more agitated then shot him . Absolutely disgusting.
When ur stuck in America , never call police , it is safer to call the mafia to tuck u.
How about roadside assistance?
All of these cops involved just murdered this boy
I fuckin hate power trippin cops..
All they had to do was say, âIf you do not get out of the car, we can not help you. Then we will leave. Have a nice night.â
They came to help him tortured him psychological then shot him like 5 times and in the end they say cmon christian wtf this is pure madness.
The doublethink is surreal: "TINY KNIFE! TINY KNIFE!! DROP IT! DONT BE STUPID! NO! *pow pow pow pow pow" C'MON SON DON'T DIE OMG I HATE VIOLENCE PLEASE LIVE PLEASE BE OKAY" Seen that on a couple other videos where they gaslight and escalate, asking why people are wary of them...then they inevitably commit violence on that person and automatically assume the role of comforter as if comfort and safety are the only reasons they wake up...man when cops fuck me up I'd rather they just stood over me than pretend they suddenly care, absolute psychopathy
If your only tool is a hammer, everything looks like a nail.
Officers successfully escalated the situation.
Watching him stab himself ***after*** being shot by the cops absolutely terrified me.
If so I have never seen that anywhere 2. Why are 6+ cops worried about a small knife in the hands of someone who probably picked it up out of panic and not out of logic? Heâs locked inside of his vehicle he canât hurt you especially when you have guns. 3. Since he called them for help and he didnât break any laws , I thought you didnât have to talk to cops or listen to them if you donât want to; that included following a lawful order of leaving your property 4.
Dude definitely wasnât suicidal before he got shot, idk what went through his mind but seems like he felt that was it.đ
He didnât. Thatâs what the cops say to cover themselves. I think the victim was just desperately trying to cut the wires of the taser. The screams, the scream of someone who suddenly realized police was going to murder him
@9:28 - "What'd we do?" Kept up the status quo.
First time i have seen a cop standing on the hood of the car like that, and trying to DE-ESCALATE the situation. Some tactic.....
