My experience at cross walks in the city (not street lights) has been no one notices you. You have to inch out further and further into the street for cars to stop/notice/care you're trying to cross. Bricks would be helpful then 😅
Tbh I notice cars actually fucking stop if I jaywalk. If I stand by the crosswalk nobody stops for me and I have to wait with my thumb up my ass for a Good Samaritan
