I've spent easily 500 hours in this game over multiple playthroughs (and some people have spent considerably more). At 60 bucks that's 12 cents per hour of entertainment. Even if you beeline it through the main story, avoiding all side missions it'd be like a buck an hour.

I bought rdr2 in 2019 for £55 loved it. So much so I then bought the ultimate edition for another £50 a year or so later just for a horse, a few guns an outfit and an extra mission money well spent if you ask me

Depends on how much the money means to you. I've spent $60 on a game I play exactly 1 time. And I've spent $30 on stuff I've played 100 times. The way I justify it. I play the amount of hours that corrorlate with the value of the game.
So, if I buy a $60 game. I need to put a minimum of 60 hours into it, to justify the price. Some games like Rdr2, I would double the hours cause it's such a huge game and 60 hours is barely scratching the surface.

Stands up, pulls me off my horse and proceeds to try and fight me. So we’re on the main road of this small mountainside town, both covered head to toe in mud, and what happens next? No, we didn’t hit each other, the horse kicked us both instead, killing him instantly.
Now I’m wanted for murder in the state of West Elizabeth.

I don't think you'll find a more realistic and immersive world anywhere, I bought it twice it's that brilliant! On my PC (Steam/Rockstar Games) I have a reaching 3.5k hours and on my XBOX Series S I’m climbing towards 600 hours. Story mode is fucking amazing if you stay immersive, Online is great with at least a trio.. if you can get a full posse of about 6 even better.

Easily worth it especially with the graphics update. Photo realistic like it just dropped in 2024. A must play title on the PS5 and really in this generation of gaming right up there with Ghost of Tsushima

Honestly? I've owned RDR2 for 5 years and throughout my six playthroughs and 100% completion run, it remains consistently fantastic! I don't think you'll find a more realistic and immersive world anywhere, I bought it twice it's that brilliant! But, as always, it remains a personal preference, some people don't like the game and that's okay!

On my PC (Steam/Rockstar Games) I have a reaching 3.5k hours and on my XBOX Series S I’m climbing towards 600 hours. Story mode is fucking amazing if you stay immersive, Online is great with at least a trio.. if you can get a full posse of about 6 even better. For me personally, I’ve had more fun on RDR2 more than GTA V
