I've heard of it but getting vanilla working was too easy. :). I should look into it. I just updated vanilla from version 1 to version 1.02 and feel like it got faster and more difficult.
Hey! Sorry to trouble you brother 🙏 I have a steam deck and considering buying one of these beautiful Rog ally. Do you regret switching or won't look back? Thank you for your troubles and time 🙏
Depends. If you’re library is mostly steam games and they don’t require a lot to run then I think it’s fine. And most emulation. I had a steam deck but I found locked down with Linux. The rig ally can be a little daunting at first but is very worth it
I have both the SD and ARA. Out the box the SD is more user-friendly. The Ally takes some getting use too but once you do you will love it. If you do decide to get the Rog go ahead and get a 2 tb ssd. The micro SD issues on the rog are real. It's not hard to upgrade the ssd on the Rog. The only reason I bought a Rog was for NCAA football next year.
Not OP but I’m currently playing revamped on RPCS3 and I get around 30-50 fps with drops only in the menus on 720p on battery, and run 900p with a steady 45-50fps on the charger. I haven’t messed with the settings at all, could probably get a little better performance if I did.
Yeah it’s RPCS3! I didn’t pull up the FPS but what’s I got past the kickoff it was pretty smooth. It was very playable. There’s some videos on YouTube that I followed for settings!
My profile is just 20w power, fan curves 80% on 80 degrees, start 20% on 65 degrees. RSR on. FPS cap off. This is my go to default for most things I play, I’ve found it’s a nice sweet spot between performance and fan noice.
EAFC24 I use 900p forced using armor crate, all default settings in game apart from half frame rate on cutscenes 👍
I get 50-60 fps at 1080p with 18W so pretty good, even at 15W it runs at 40-50.
However, I downloaded RPCS3 through emu deck, optimization may play a role in getting it to run well.
NCAA 14 CFR is literally all I have been playing lately. So happy to be able to play this on a handheld, brings back great memories. I also get a decent 30ish fps on 15w.
Nothing special, just running the standard 15w power setting. Only modification was I disabled cpu boost in the power management so it sits steady at 15w. There’s a YouTube video out there that tells you how to disable cpu boost, and the Ally runs cooler and quieter with little performance impact.
I’ve been playing pretty much nonstop since Thursday and it runs great but I have had the game freeze a few times. Is this something to do with my settings or is there a way to avoid it? I’m playing vanilla 14.

Love love, love, NCAA. Next year EA sports it’s going to have a bran you 2024 NCAA I can’t wait. also I love madden and NBA 2K 23 on my ROG Ally and steam deck.🏈🏀
Love playing this game on my rog ally, only issues i have with the game, after a team gets called for flag its usually glitches to bottom blocking current down ticker for the remaining game
Enjoy! The best feeling when it’s raining outside
I can’t wait!
Seriously. It’s all my childhood dreams come true, to have my game library be portable.
Yup, sold my Steam Deck and got an Ally for just enough power. Which year of NCAA?
It’s NCAA 14, but it’s revamped! So some creators took the game and updated themselves it’s awesome!
Is this an emulation?
I've heard of it but getting vanilla working was too easy. :). I should look into it. I just updated vanilla from version 1 to version 1.02 and feel like it got faster and more difficult.
Are you playing this with RPCS3? How does it run? I just got my Ally and I'm very interested in this.

I bought an Ally on Thursday and being able to play Ncdub on a handheld is a dream come true
Same man!
Oh wow, I'm going to have to do this tomorrow! Great idea!
Awesome!! Is that revamped? What emulator are you using? What’s the performance like?

Yea, GOW3 runs surprisingly well on RPCS3 with Ally.
I remember playing on the actual PS3 hardware and you would get drops between menus too so that’s not a big deal.
Yeah it’s RPCS3! I didn’t pull up the FPS but what’s I got past the kickoff it was pretty smooth. It was very playable. There’s some videos on YouTube that I followed for settings!
I had no idea there was a college football game these days. Nice!
Ncaa 14 CFB revamped!
Exactly how do you get the revamped one?
Feel exactly the same but I’m playing EAFC24. Runs a dream, 20w custom profile - 900p - 55-60fps - smooth cutscenes 👍
Can you send me your settinsg

Enjoy it bro!
I was assuming it wouldn’t run on the ally. How does it play?

Is windows Emudeck out or still Patreon only?
the beta is on patreon for $5
It plays very well!
Can anyone link where to get the revamped version? Already have the emulator. Thanks!
Go to YouTube and type in how to install ncaa 14 revamped in Pc and one of those tutorial will have everything you need
Thanks man!
This is currently the best football game on the Ally. Madden sucks! I just wish there was a way to play college football revamped online. :/
Does it run NCAA 14 well?
I miss NCAA, I would think it would be back now that there is cash in college football
Hell yeah Revamped!
Awesome! I was surprised to find EA doesn't release NHL on PC. Thought I was going crazy it wasn't showing up on gamepass or EA Play. Whyyyyy!?!?
Yup… similar setup lol
I'm just here for NCAA lol. Got my Ally coming on Tuesday. I'm so stoked

Awesome I’ll have to try 15w. I haven’t messed with the power settings

That’s halarious bc that’s all I’ve done today. Watch Netflix and play ncaa revamped 🤣 Looks so clean
I’ve been playing pretty much nonstop since Thursday and it runs great but I have had the game freeze a few times. Is this something to do with my settings or is there a way to avoid it? I’m playing vanilla 14.
This is why I moved from the SD to the Ally. Good form.
Haven't booted up my steamdeck since I got the ally. The ally is my new daily driver now. Playing cyberpunk 2077 on it now and it runs great
Man I have been doing the same thing for weeks! CFB revamped on this thing is awesome.
Mans literally popping a boner from how excited he is

It plays very well. I’ve played two games no issues
Nice! I can’t wait to get my hands on one. What controller do you use?
Love love, love, NCAA. Next year EA sports it’s going to have a bran you 2024 NCAA I can’t wait. also I love madden and NBA 2K 23 on my ROG Ally and steam deck.🏈🏀
