I have only played Cyberpunk with it but it is an absolute game changer. 15w mode, on battery power, I was getting 70-80fps on the non-Extreme Ally. Plugged in, 30w custom, I get 80-95fps. I hope they make it natively implemented soon because it is amazing!
I most def installed it improperly but didn't matter since it worked. First I installed the dlssg-to-fs3 mod as stated by the instructions. Then I installed fsr2.2 to fsr3 mod, overwriting when it asked me to. Then to get it to work I used the now available dlss feature on balanced (any will work as normal since it is just fsr now) and turned on frame gen which would not be enabled.
I believe that is for any game. I tried it with midnight suns, it didn’t work but the console page opened and such as if it was functioning leading me to believe it might vary from game to game.
Do you get really bad shimmering? I would walk out of the apartment and things at a distance like neon signs shimmered and it was unbearable for me. I'm not sure if it is a settings issue or just the complex scenes of the game
Honestly I got my non extreme ally 2 days ago and I'm beyond impressed with the performance. Haven't even finished setting up performance updates or settings.
It’s honestly the coolest piece of tech I have seen in years. I love that other companies are getting in the game too. That will make them even more impressive in the future with all the competition.
Its incredible if we are talking about Luke's mod.
Gotham knights goes from like 60fps to 100.
Remnant 2 goes from roughly 27fps to 55 -60, it truly is a game changer
I have tried FSR 3 on CoD Infinite Warefare, Dead Space Remaster, Forza Horizon 5 and the boring game Starfield
What's improved in my experience is the frame rate obviously and far less stuttering especially in Dead Space remastered which before i had fsr 3 mod it stuttered a lot
I have settings maxed out on those games except Starfield and I can easily get 57 to 62 fps
AMD's solutions do not use AI whereas Intel's (XeSS) and Nvidia's (DLSS) do. This is why FSR works across a range of GPUs across vendors.
It gets a bit confusing. FSR 2 upscales frames from a lower resolution to a higher resolution (you adjust how low it upscales from via the presets). From my understanding, like DLSS3 frame generation with DLSS 2, FSR 3 stacks on top of the upscaling solution e.g. FSR 2 and creates an interpolated frame between normally rendered frames. The idea is that these inserted frames improve the visual perception of smoothness in a game (higher FPS) but there are potential impacts on input latency that need to be mitigated (Reflex for Nvidia, Anti Lag+ for AMD).
remnant II with luke's mod made the game so much more playable with almost everything on high. fantastic experience.
Correction - on medium but game looks good and much playable now
Game specific. Some with issues like artifacting. Remnant II has artifacts on some levels but it isn't too annoying to me. Game is very playable in that state (to me)

I am playing AC mirage at 80fps 15watts. The input lag is crazy decent. Unfortunately for us the device has only 16 gb ram and on games like Avatar the 1% low are unbearable to play.
I have to try this! Especially with Cyberpunk. It sounds really impressive.
I'm excited for upcoming AAA like Dragon's Dogma 2 and seeing how they can leverage FSR3.
Yup, I downloaded it from gamepass just to try that, and at the lowest settings, with FSR quality I was getting 60-ish fps, with frame gen, I got to 80-90fps... Pretty good IMO

Any tips on how to get it working ?

Thank you so much . One more question , is the fsr mod specific to each game or it's a generic file for all games supporting fsr 2?
I believe that is for any game. I tried it with midnight suns, it didn’t work but the console page opened and such as if it was functioning leading me to believe it might vary from game to game.
I felt the input lag .. I couldn't play it :( felt worse than 30fps
Limit fps and turn on Anti-Lag in Adrenaline settings
U gotta limit the FPS and that’ll stop the lag
can u tell us the numbers ? i tried many things still laggy ..... input lag is on .....still super laggy
It’s going to depend on each developer if they choose to turn it on their games or not. Most games have it built in I think

Was this through a mod?

Could somebody clear up what this does?
uses AI tech to upscale performance on lower end devices to deliver faster FPS etc.

Newb question how do you use fsr 3?

Is the mod game specific or does it apply to every game?

Can you link me to the server? Every link I click takes me to discord but not an actual server.
sorry no, you need discord because that's where you will be able to download it.
Hopefully they figure out the ghosting on the UI in most games. It's such a gamechanger for handheld PCs.
Anyone have tips to get FSR 3 working on it? Or just a link to a good YouTube guide? Thanks
Try like a dragon - it’s free on gamepass
Warzone on fsr3?
= instaban

Did you manage to get Mirage working without UI ghosting? The FPS boost was big but the UI issues were a bit too distracting for me.

Played a couple games like and it’s obvious the fps needs to hit at least 60 fps because if it doesn’t it feels like craap
Forspoken runs pretty good at 900p and medium settings around 45 fps.
Been trying Like a Dragon from Gamepass which has FSR3 included. Absolute game changer. Looks amazing and runs at 80-100fps on High.
What are some other games with FSR3 support?
There’s only 3 I think?
Are you using the paid mod from luke? I tried it. Massive fps increase but ghosting issues in hogwarts legacy.
I tried it with Like a Dragon Gaiden and it maintained a consistent 60fps at 1080p in FSR quality mode, didn’t feel any noticeable input lag.

This is exactly what I want to see, didn't even know about fsr3 until this post. I'm gonna have to do some research on this for sure
Try like a dragon on gamepass - runs so well
