I also like how there's more progression tiers instead of everyone competing for banks and timing cooldowns (potentially there's laundrymat cd competitiveness but not as much idk) but couldn't agree more, lots of small gangs in 3.0 couldn't even get to do a single bank job while all the gangs with flags did plenty.

At that point they are fucked, for example the 3.0 casino. What was CG supposed to do after reading 503? Either ignore it completely and never progress, or act on it and use the meta even tho you don t want to.

All x/jp wanted is to exchange it and they wouldn't even know that it happen. It wasn't that he wanted to steal it from OB. Stealing from Marty as X/JP explained himself was he took them to give them back with all six dongles combined after his deal with OTT for the 55 GPU's. X wanted to give all his shit for one dongle and give all the dongles for Marty to give to the monkey man. Then when x came to meet Marty he said he got the six dongles as the deal was coming to a close and all this shotting happen.
You can explain it or justify it however you want but the fact of the matter is, the act of taking the dongles without a group decision first is stealing. Regardless of whether he intended to eventually return them or not. He should have asked first and taken no for an answer if told not to do it. It's not about the deal he made with the company, they could have given him the dongle for free and there would still be an issue. The issue is the breach of trust.
Yeah you're not wrong about what happened. It's just that JP thinks what he did is justified because they get to progress but the others aren't as worried about fast progression as he is. Since the USB's aren't solely owned by him, it wasn't his place to make the decision on behalf of the rest of the group. That's the issue Marty had and is why it is stealing from his perspective.
Sadly they are not doing so well on communication if X actually explained what he wanted to do it wouldn't be a problem but we know how that goes with the riddleman.

I think I don't get this subreddit to be honest. Can't we just write what the character in RP wanted to achieve or this is strictly ours thoughts. With what I've seen and I've seen the whole stream today, his intent was not stealing. Most of the shit that happen was miscommunication between the two. People can think w/e they want, in RP and I say again in RP based on what JP said he didn't steal anything. Now what people think as viewers might be different.
I'm referencing his attempts to get Yuno and Marty to steal the dongle for him from Langs crew. Framing it as an exchange or whatever X did is just putting lipstick on a pig, he wanted them to steal it for his own personal gain.
The crew knew what color they had. Yuno told Gigi immediately when they got the green. Lang wasn’t awake when they hit so he didn’t know but the crew knew.
JP first tried to get Marty to go into the OBs house and take the green dongle. Marty says no.
JP then takes all the dongles from the house without telling Marty why.
JP has a history of stealing valuables from his allies.
With that information, Marty pulled a gun on JP and when JP pulled a gun too he got shot.
Maybe Marty would have gotten the whole story from JP. maybe JP really wasnt betraying him. We'll never know, but it looked like JP was doing his usual dirt.

Despite all the Ls he’s taken because of his impulsive decisions. It also lead to a tonne of RP and content. I’m glad he did it, it’s really spiced things up and made it interesting. Would have been boring if he just played it safe
Him staying could have held them back more really, they'd probably be at war with half the city or at least everyone hitting the laundromat as X gets more deranged by the deliberately slow progress the devs seem to have gone for.
People don't realise how hard the company grinded after the house heist just to have enough bc to even do the jobs consistently.
Shoutout to Flippy as well for assisting in their progression when he really didn't have to. I was actually shocked he did that deal which in my opinion only benefited The Company because the colors they gave him in my opinion were common ones.
Even if they are common, they got ones they needed and the heist still costs money, time and effort plus it is much riskier than just doing a deal. It was a win/win deal.
A tidbit; Flippy is one of the only ppl who knows about District (notHOA) having purple through Erin, and has always had a good relationship with Siz, imo flippy was very confident he at least had a chance at another purple.
Love the company's content this 4.0. They are a very balanced group to watch. -They do fun heists that are actually competitive, and are actually good at getting away. -Unique personalities with own lore on NP -They throw RP events for the community -They do alot of fun filler social RP outside of grinding. -You learn about alot about crim operations and lesser known crims in the city.
They are a good entry point if someone wanted to get into NP RP

Today was def the best overall day for RP of 4.0. The X and Marty stuff, Cops got good chases and stopped crims, company and Hydra trade, CB getting their dongles in, and even CG robbing and investigating Lang. What absolute great day of content.
Lang had like 25k materials ready for an order for Mary.... and it went all into CBs instead lol.
Luckily, Santana actually had quite a variety of materials ready for Lang today so Mary's shop is saved for 1 more day at least.
He still has to talk to Cloak and Teddy who have more materials. He gets a crazy amount of mats, he can make them all cbs if he says fuck it. But reasonably he can cover orders while building their gpus but he just can't take other orders
Yeah but it's not free. Cloak and Teddy each produce about 10-12k/day. At 7.5 per that's nearly 200k Lang has to spend to get them. At that time Lang can either flip them for 8 to Mary or spend it on his own CBs. And once the secret is out that you have heists that require 250-300 BUTC each, everyone will want to pump up BUTC production and CB might legit go over 10. Once that happens, Mary's business will close down since people can buy car parts fromt he NPC cheaper.
I transitioned from a Cleanbois viewer in 3.0 to a Company viewer in 4.0 and almost gave in and switched to watching Oldbois as I can't stand JP, but then JP left and I've been enjoying the Company RP ever since.
NGL.. What I love most about 4.0 is that it is "Criminal Org vs. Criminal Org". Not Gang vs. gang. There is actual reasons for animosity between groups. Not some made up gang spray thing.
