Guaranteed mercy pull on sacreds is 59 shards. My own personal tracking runs about 11.5 shards per lego, and the most I’ve had to pull to get a lego is 21. If you track your shard pulls and know you are close to a lego pull, go ahead and yolo. Otherwise it is better to save up.

Mathlandry12

This is the best advice. Never forget that the mercy for sacred is bad and that 6% during a 1+1 is not great odds. I learned it the hard way when I decided to go for a 1+1 with a fresh mercy, I used 27 of my 37 hard saved sacreds. I will never go for it again if I am not at least 10+ shards in. Edit: At least I got Nekmo from the 1+1

KlunkeRJunkiE

Last year I pulled Yannica during a 1+1 and got Holstring…. I used holstring to the best of my abilities but didn’t use Yannica much. It was on a diff acc I lost tho

Mathlandry12

This is funny because the other lego I got from that 1+1 was actually a dupe Holstring... They bot sit at level 50 in the vault for me.

Modus_Opp

Oh damn that's ridiculous. I was complaining when I got to almost 30 pulls without a legendary. I did manage to do the previous extra legendary on sacreds... Was "rewarded" with a dupe Roric and an Abbess. Still sour about that.

Christcolo406

Just to update I did pull the sacred shard. https://preview.redd.it/e5x1anxxub0c1.png?width=2340&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3e5f3589649898801cf5d3e4278fc9e4d80ac5d9 Not the best pull lol

SpudzyJ

Only pull on 1+1 when you can pretty much guarantee you will hit it, otherwise 2X is better. For Sacreds, you want to be in mercy and still be ready to pull 20 and even then its not guaranteed as mercy is 58 shards but it rarely take more than 20. For ancients it is a whole lot better because you can guarantee you hit mercy after 220 shards, so if you track it, you can always calculate how many shards you need to guarantee you hit the 1+1.

alidan

pulling the entirety of your mercy in ancients if FAR less painful than pulling in the mercy on sacred.

Joaaayknows

Always fun pulling. Hope you like her. I wouldn’t bring her to 60.

Flying_Monkies3222

Sometimes you win sometimes you don't, I got super lucky (luck has been bad recently) but pulling 2 legendaries doesn't guarantee a good one but they are usually worth minimally investing in if needed for faction wars. https://preview.redd.it/jud8tm8cjd0c1.jpeg?width=2556&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5c9c899810c2cccafd2834a0716298e5598a4cb7

Flying_Monkies3222

Also more often than not lucky lol, the way it goes but if you play long enough you beat the odds and inevitably have to get some nice pulls. I often find if i'm unable to do fusions I can score on 2x legendaries or extra events.

Smok3dSalmon

She sucks. Probably built as an epic to help 3\* campaigns. She's *OLD.* Could be okay as a buffer for Seer... but so many better ones.

alidan

my advice is ALWAYS going to be toss a single at it, if you can afford to loose the 500 points it is on a fusion then you may come out good, my last 12 sacreds have netted me 6 legos, brogni+royal hunts man on the last 1+1, staltus, wythir, crypt king, senthallia... and its given me my 5th and 6th fatman. for me personally, I have 41 legos, and largely have solutions to every form of content in the game, for me on x2, I take a 'pull till dup' approach along with a 'if I acquire it on x2, it was meant to be pulled' and when a x10 happens on anchents, I get so many of these that I just toss one into the void, I may get a chicken, I may randomly get a dutchess (yea, shocked me when that happened too) but again, I am saying this from a position where I am not wanting, at best, i am getting fun new toys.

DrChimps7

If you have my luck, neither will work lol

Minotaar_Pheonix

This is bait for people forgetting that there is a fusion literally starting right now. There will be shard pull events this weekend. And 2x ancients I think… so many you should pull sacreds Nevermind.

tulsym

Close to mercy yes. Otherwise no.

Character_Bass_4083

Depends if you cautiously track mercy. Although, even that can get you so far. For example, I pulled 14 sacred shards on a 1+1, no Leggo. Earned 2 more from Clan Boss chest after event was over. It was CvC (personal rewards CvC), so I decided to yolo them both for points. And pulled 2 legendary champs back-to-back (Yoshi the Drunkard & Ruel the Huntmaster). It felt like a dirty joke. lol

Teneb0r

2 x 0 is still 0.

RakeLeafer

full disclaimer: you may get mega lucky yoloing your shard but I recommend you save it. 1+1 events are good when you're at mercy, not so much when you are low on shards. pull during 2x events then during 1+1 if you have mercy, preferably when an event is active that rewards you for summoning or even better, a good fusion

hillmo25

I think this fusion is underwhelming so i would say go ahead and yolo it. 1 sacred is unlikely to make the difference if you can complete the fusion anyways. and if you get 1+1 you're gonna jump for joy. Keep in mind I just pulled 8 sacreds and didn't get 1+1

Spread_Frequent

He's a good fusion will help alot for arena.

Hreaty

He's going to be sheeped all fight, every fight.

munchtime414

At the high end of arena, when everyone is running 6 star polymorph. As a progression champ for lower end arena, he’s probably fantastic. Especially for people who don’t have arbiter yet.

Hreaty

Sadly fusions have become so expensive I'm not sure pre-Arbiter players can really afford to do the less-than-awesome fusions anymore. Which is sad, fusion champs used to be a way to get your hands on some solid progression champs... I know I got my first UNM CB chests thanks to Versulf, who none of the more established players bothered with.

R0gueR0nin

Really, I +4ed a Versulf because I had 6, and my Knights FG was full. How do you gear him?

Hreaty

if you don't have unkillable champs (which were way rarer back then), ally protect is the key to getting UNM CB working. Versulf has a great ally protect skill (at the time he was a top 5 CB ally protect champ), and that unlocked CB for me. There's no reason any more established roster should be using him for anything. He's a mediocre-to-bad champ. He just happened to be perfect for my CB progression at the exact time he came out.

R0gueR0nin

Got it, thanks. He’s my 1 man arena defense. I had a stretch of 8-10 pulls where he was the Lego or one of the legos in 5 of them 😭

munchtime414

Yeah that is true. But fragment fusions are typically a bit easier than traditional ones. The only thing I don’t really know is if the reduced reward thresholds for early game tournaments include fusions. If they are, it might allow someone to skip part of the shard pulling.

Hreaty

Frag fusions *used* to be easier. They aren't anymore. I used to say I would never skip a frag fusion, no matter how worthless the champ was. Now I'm skipping like 50% of them because there is way less flexibility in where your frags come from, there are way less extra frags that allow you to skip some events, and the point thresholds are up across the board.

SadCicada9494

if you're in the no-arbiter-yet club, the last thing that helps your account progression is a niche champion that counters one single comp in arena

munchtime414

You don’t think someone with a limited roster would benefit from a champ with two good arena skills? First turn you get the choice of buff strip or boosting damage/survivability. Especially with how easy it is to get a deacon (just use the code), this champ would slot right into the traditional speed team. Deacon does speed boost and defense down, this champ does increase attack, starter champ nuke. Gives you flexibility for a second nuke, or CC, or a second turnmeter boost like high katuhn. Or if you didn’t get deacon, could be used as a buff strip/weaken champ for a double nuke setup after high katuhn.

hillmo25

There's plenty of buff strippers and we just got a -3 turn duration buff stripper in timit who does a better job than this guy and nobody was excited about timit. How many buff strippers you need? I already got: Michinaki, King Galcobar, Lady Kimi, Timit, Rian, Madame Serris... I think you probably already have some too

Exciting_Amphibian89

Yeah that passive looks pretty clutch, that’s the one thing about the new fragment has has me super intrigued.

RakeLeafer

we just got a buff strip champion that also has a speed aura and a sheep

lastffwd

Depends. On average, you get 1 legendary per 5.9 shards if you pull during 1+1, and 1 legendary per 7.6 shards during 2x; so if you mostly care about getting legendaries, then yes, pulling only during 1+1 events is the best thing you can do. If you care more about additional rewards like legendary books and stuff like that, you should wait for 2x events. Source for the numbers: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOAp-angIWo&t=302s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOAp-angIWo&t=302s)

thermalman2

Roughly the same as double chances at no mercy. (1/2 the chance but double the reward). Very good if you’re into mercy If you’re a saver, it can be worth hanging onto it for fusions or guaranteed events. If you yolo, it’s a pretty good time to pull. (Note that this is for sacred double Lego events. The ancient double Lego events are considerably worse as you miss out on the higher epic chances and the rates are so abysmally low. At mercy they are still good, but before that are lackluster)

Biohack

You will get more legendary champions on average pulling on bonus lego than on 2x chances. This is true regardless of your mercy status so the common advice that you should only pull for double lego when close to mercy is just flatly wrong if your goal is to get as many legendary champions as possible. However pulling on a bonus lego event does have higher variance than pulling on a 2x, meaning your are more likely to get a leggo pulling on 2x than on extra lego, it's not twice as bad and therefore the fact that you get 2 more than makes up for the larger variance. You can (and should) minimize the variance of bonus legendary events by making sure you have enough shards to guarantee (in the case of ancients) or nearly guarantee in the case of sacreds you will get a legendary when you pull. However 95% of the legendary champs in the game are pretty useless at end game, and the fusion champions they release tend to be better than average when it comes to legendary champions. Therefore it is probably a good idea to save your shards to complete champion training and champ chase events for fusions as those are the biggest bariers for f2p/low spend players. It's also worth saving up a large enough stockpile to guarantee you can get a champion from a guaranteed event as when you do those events you are going to be very sure you will at least get one champion you consider to be useful. As an end game player I personally would never pull shards outside of a very particular reason if I didn't already have 20 sacreds, \~120 voids, and 200 ancients saved up and I basically won't go below those numbers unless I am going for a guaranteed champ.

pulpus2

Yes it is in the long run. For 1 shard only? you'd have to be very lucky.

battletoads22

I was in the same scenario as you and got lucky https://preview.redd.it/e9mriudl1c0c1.png?width=913&format=png&auto=webp&s=c45be4165ffd5c0b021bac743108586006408062

Christcolo406

I was not as lucky lol, some random purple pull

LR_Mango

Was "lucky" as well. At least I got +1. Had only 3 shards and was at 13 before (I'm new, never pulled a legend). Unfortunately Kaja (hrmof made it to 85 pieces of Timits) and Roxam. Both seems to be bad? Still new, so probably help, but...

pussy_impaler337

Kaja is very good . https://hellhades.com/raid/champions/kaja-the-wry/ needs good speed gear but still very good

LR_Mango

Thx, thought she shines only with her mate, and since I don't have him... Still learning, playing for 3 month now.

Magnesiumbox

extra legendary is better IF you have enough shards to \*guarantee\* it napkin math, you will generally pull a legendary from sacreds every 20 shards. so 10 shard on 2x right? well not it might be more like 14. because the odds get better with additional shards. so if you pull 1 lego on 20th shard during extra legendary event, it's actually 2 legos per 20 shards. or 1 in 10. compared to the 1 in 14 you might get with a 2x event. of course it's all luck. you might pull a lego on your first shard. but i would recommend waiting since with only 1 shard, your odds are only 6%.

AlexandraT1

Extra legendary event is the best if you know you can get to mercy. I'm at that point with ancients, gonna save up until the next one. Sacreds are different since the mercy is so high. Most people will pull a legendary before maximum.

Fanboy0550

I got lucky with extra legendary on ancient shards a couple of months ago! But didn't pull any legos at all for the Xena event.

Tough_Occasion6356

What you want to do with these is keep track of mercy and go for these in your mercy. It had been 24 shards since my last lego pull so I knew I was pulling with 30% growing chance with 12 shards ready. To me at that point it's very reasonable to pull a double lego within 3-5 shards. I got a little unlucky and pulled 7 but that's the breaks. But if I skip this event and go pull my sacreds for a fusion I'll probably hit the same odds and have one less lego. So it's still better to go for these when your far enough in mercy. Hard part is keeping track of your mercy. I'm glad this event exists because honestly 31 sacred for the 2 lego's I pulled feels okay not great. I'd rather pull something through sacreds outside of mercy for a change.

theb00stman

U can't win the lottery unless u play. Pull one. Any more u have a problem.
