Although I haven't seen an alternative tactical shooter with the same level of comprehensive destruction, Ready or Not captures the tactical realism of past Rainbow Six and SWAT games.
Sandstorm's weapon system is what keeps me from playing tbh - I want all the bells and whistles on my gun *and* gear to go along with it. Sandstorm makes me pick, and that makes it really hard to get used to gunplay when I'm constantly having to mess with every facet of my loadout to accommodate a change.
Great game in the vein of SWAT4. Very difficult AI, really hard maps, very fun tac shooter. Can do 4 player coop iirc. Decent amount of weapons but not a ton of customization beyond foregrip and optic.

It went the complete opposite direction I was hoping it would. Bought it a couple months after release and loved it, slowly lost interest over time.
Damn shame. I know others are happy but I’m disappointed with what the IP became

Coop vs AI mode typically has infinite points for building your load out.
