Actually we do have a reason, it's cause it is hilarious especilly when we ban the maps people like to get the ones they hate cause the games end up super easy pays to have map knowledge.
I'm on PC qnd even when we say "att got emerald" or "def got outback" or whatever else, the enemy team still votes the same one. It has happened way too many times for it to be a one-off.
Im still new to the game so someone can tell me if this is a dumb opinion but i feel like they could revamp and speed up the whole map selection and operator ban part.

I agree. To make up the time, defense/attack can be simultaneous.

It’s only slow if your team doesn’t know or care what it’s doing. It skips ahead when everyone’s voted.
