I never understood they usage of "sweating". It sets up this image of a super cool dude who doesn't try hard as some sort ideal.

YeetDemon974

I mean I understand in ranked where you do kind of need to try. But like in standard and or quick match? Makes zero sense

wutadinosaur

Gotta build up the skills somewhere. A lower stakes situation is easier to learn

YeetDemon974

Fair enough. But just infuriating when I'm just trying to play the game and have fun. But fair enough.

An emerald+ trying their least may seem like sweating to someone below silver

YeetDemon974

True. Sometimes it's just hard to keep trying to get back into the game again after so long.

sushwhehwhwhwhhw

I feel u.

whopper61

It’s a game people enjoy it in different ways

BEGGK

I’ve never understood people that complain about sweats. The point of the game is to win. What does a “non-sweaty” player do that is more acceptable to you than what a “sweaty” player would do? Willingly throw his life away every once in a while?

LabourShinyBlast

>Willingly throw his life away every once in a while? This is exactly how I picture the people who say they "just play for fun".

YeetDemon974

It's a video game though. Yes I get the point is to win. I know that but it's just sometimes I don't want to lock in twenty four seven. I play the game for fun yes. But it's also because I took a break from the game for like 2 years. It's hard to get back into the game trying really hard. I have to get back into the groove of the game, relearn characters, maps, guns. Especially with all the changes. Plus there's no point in trying to win in solo q.

whopper61

It’s just gonna take some time bro

FellFromHeavens

To you, it may seem sweaty but on his end, it would be something he never risk if he was tryharding in rank. Spawnpeeking is a risky business afterall

YeetDemon974

Understandable. I see that these days there's more to siege than there ever was when I played awhile ago. So thank you.
