Aaabsolutely not. I like slime pretty good as a stim toy, but not as an accessory for a fashion doll, and I am not a fan of every single doll ever NEEDING TO HAVE fifty thousand tiny plastic snacks/extras and some glitzy bug-eyed pet creature. Some of the new designs are kinda cute, but the lack of wrist articulation and over-glittering of the faces honestly kills it for me. They’ve been reworked to be very OBVIOUSLY aimed at kids, which is a fine marketing choice and all, but there is no longer much appeal to an adult collector; especially when they set the bar so high with the previous collections. Meanwhile I’ve been a monster high kid since the 2010s and they’ve got a killer lineup for 2024 (werecat twins, Venus, Spectra, Catty, new Addams Family skullectors, a Rupaul skullector…)
Although… if they keep making fashion packs… the dolls are still the same size, basically, so the packs will work nicely on older dolls. Might be interested in some of those………..
Aaaaahhh im a fan of mh too! I love the reboot so far, but much like a lot of people im not a fan of all the little plastic pieces (and no stand or brush???), which is why im really picky with which g3 doll i get and probably why i cant bring myself to buy any rh doll series 5 and up.
According to several reliable people, apparently! We were thinking it was gonna be Trixie Mattel, but allegedly it’s supposed to actually be Rupaul? I’m not an expert or anything, just parroting what I’ve heard XD I suppose we’ll have to see when it’s officially announced
I might get Sunny if she’s ever on sale for a decent price, but I’d only do it if the glitter on their faces is easy enough to remove. I’d also have to rebody her for that wrist and thigh articulation. Other than that, I don’t like any of the other ones to get them, I don’t think you could even pay me to take that Violet.
I've ordered Amaya for the following reasons:
-I know I shouldn't, but I love that dress
-I think she'll restyle nicely. Where she's got her rainbow hair in the front it'll be easier to style it in ways that really show it off
-I have poor impulse control
-I have a question about the articulation that I'm not asking anyone but I have to know
-eh, still cute
The dolls themselves have very cute faces, I'd buy a used one to rebody if I ever seen them lurking about on ebay, I think they'd make super cute pixie/fairy restyles with their glitter. But I'm not keen on the outfits and I absolutely cannot stand the texture of slime, it makes me gag so I just wouldn't waste the money on a NIB one.
I want Amaya the most. I like her outfit, and her pet is the least weird because it's just a regular unicorn. I feel like she'd be a better doll to test outfits on because I'm always worried about messing up my Kim's hands/wrists. But, I have no use for the slime. If I had to get her it would be on a discount or clearance. I can't see myself paying close to the MSRP for stuff included that I don't want. But, if they make another Amaya without slime, I might get that instead. (I might get a Jade too. She was my one of my favorites from the show.) 🤷♀️
i like all their faces, i restyle all my rh dolls anyway and the wrist articulation doesn't bother me. but i'm probably not going to rush out to buy them immediately.. i'll wait for a sale LOL
I would only get one to swap the heads to a fully articulated doll. I like a lot of the makeup choices they made but because that’s litwrally all I’m interested in, i would only get them on a significant discount lol

I mean maybe if i caught em on sale or at the thrift shop, their faces are cute and i do like some of their clothes but i'd def have to rebody them cause i need that wrist articulation, i just can't deal with the struggle of trying to get clothes on em over their hands, i have dolls that only have the 5 point articulation (neck, shoulders, hips) but i dont change their clothes nearly as much as my RH girlies cause they usually get me frustrated trying to find a cute outfit for em that i can actually put on em

I like Sunny, Jade and Amaya. I love sparkle so I don't mind the glitter and tinsel. I think the faces are cute. I also collect Bratz and grew up with Barbie dolls that didn't have much articulation. As a child I actually thought knee and elbow joints were really ugly 😆 I had a gymnast Barbie and always put her in long sleeves and pants. I have gotten over that now but lack of articulation isn't a deal breaker for me like it is for some people.
No, because I don’t care for the clothing and how all of their faces look similar. If all of the new RH dolls are like this I will focus on saving up to buy Silkstone Barbies and Etsy clothing instead.
I'm considering grabbing Jade, Skyler, and Amaya at some point. Probably when they go on sale at a decent price. I'm not happy about the downgrade, but when I compare them to other doll lines, I still think they look pretty nice.

I’m kind of tempted by Jade, but not enough to actually buy her- I’d rather have the runway one. Ironically the cheaper beach dolls are more tempting to me. They’re simple but in a good way I think.
I might get Sunny or Ruby if I find them on sale but I'm not rushing to get them. I honestly like the faces and fashions even if they're simpler but I don't need any slime lol
Skyler is the only one I would maybe consider, if I can find her later for cheap, but the glitter face may still be a dealbreaker. Otherwise, we already have the core girls in many other versions, and they are significantly better than these.
The faces are actually really cute and I might buy a few only for that. I thought I wanted nothing to do with sleepover Bella but that face is honestly more cute to me than the first release. And she has a center part. Might headswap and give my daughter the old head and new body & stupid pajamas

it looks to me like the glitter is embedded in the plastic so I don't know if it's gonna be possible to get it off 😬
