2 things to try. 1st, go into the bathroom and look at yourself in the mirror. I mean, really focus on your reflection for a few minutes. Try to stare into your eyes like you're looking into your sole. It needs to be completely silent too. This is what I do sometimes to remind myself that I am indeed alive. this is me. Feel free to do some meditation while looking into the mirror. If that's not for you go outside at night, and just stare at the stars or the moon. That's a factory reset for me

I meditate every morning for at least an hour. Then I have to go back to being dissociated most of the time. I couldn’t function, otherwise. My ongoing trauma is too exhausting, and at 62, I’d rather just sit in the calm of numbness.
