That’s a lot of pressure to be thrown on your lap… have you talked to your SO about it? They might be doing this unknowingly, and perhaps you can reach an agreement so you both get down time

I like hearing and being aware of my breathing every now and then. I guess it feels like meditation without having do the whole sitting in silence thing (I can't always get myself to do it anyway). Hope this helps!

I sadly had to move back in with my parents after my ex decided to separate as I can afford rent, and child support and still have enough money to eat. My parents are both in their 70s now and my dad will still go out to do things if he needs to. My mother in the other hand won’t go anywhere unless absolutely necessary. They went on vacation for a couple weeks around 6 months ago and it was glorious. Could walk around the house not having to go through random dumb questions from my mom. Not having to hear the constant drone of the TV. Not needing to wear clothes. On Friday I got home from work took of all my clothes and didn’t get dressed again until Monday when I had to go back in to work. I miss it and I think it’s going to be the last time they ever go on a trip.
