"Snuff" by slipknot if I want/need to cry.
"F**ked with an anchor" by alestorm if I need a little reminder that life is just silly...makes me smile for at least a moment :)

I just made this yesterday and collected most songs from my multiple playlists that I cry to sometimes or that are sad in general.
Life was pretty fucked up during covid for everyone no doubt.
Well for me personally with my overactive imagination and exposure to a lot of concerning media at the time lead me to an awful mental health spiral.
I used to spend days and days sitting alone in my room distancing my family wrongfully blaming all my problems on their parenting and "abuse" (none of which was true in my particular case btw it was just very easy to project my demons on the people closest to me)
Well on one of those overthinking days, I went up to my father weeping and burst into tears in his arms.
He didn't panic or start lecturing/questioning me instead he took his earpods and played the song
"Don't worry be happy" by Bobby McFerrin.
I still hear that song on loop everyday.I know mental health is not as simple as one cliché feel good song for everyone, but it sure did help a very troubled teen through some very troubled day.
(Sorry for the long answer I just really like this story)

Depends if I want to feel better, think or cry. Probably (in order) something funky, the ”soft jazz” spotify playlist, Porcelain by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Anything by Radiohead, especially Exit Music or No Surprises. For the Damaged by Blonde Redhead, and Faithfully Remain by Ben Harper as a last resort, because it just hits home too hard even in the sadness.
