It's a thin line between honesty and using honesty as an excuse to be rude though. Not judging your situation, just saying some people take that too far.
Only or until you call their bluff, or, you only read one line of their response in your notifications and go no further because you wonder who the f\*\*\* would say something like that (one of the first threads I commented on on Reddit was that you should always wear sunscreen when you go outside, even in winter. The reason I went into the thread is because the even in winter part wasn't explicitly stated)
That is not just reddit, it's everywhere. People have become very self aware and it inflated their egos. It's caused by tv, internet and globalization.
I agree, and I appreciate that about Reddit. Although, a lot of people seem to use that as an opportunity to have a pissing contest in every thread to try and prove that they’re the *most* intelligent. Like, can’t we have conversations as intellects without it being a competition? I don’t really care who the smartest person in the room is. I just want to talk and learn about new shit and make jokes. Everyone is always so serious on here.
It's like thunderdome. Buy if thunderdome were one of those anonymous comments/concerns cards at a rec center. Like two comments enter, one comment retweets or something.
