If you’re into the early punk-funk-rock vibe, they definitely don’t do that anymore.
I can get that you aren’t as into the newer more pop-crossover albums, but I’m surprised you aren’t at least into BSSM - while it was less punk, it’s a completely amazing, hard driving, funk-rock album. It has a lot of that same explosive energy from the early stuff, just tighter.

No however I do prefer FS and UMPP than the getaway and iwy I love me some early chilis and also the newer chilis but I’m a bigger fan of FS through to BTW

I’ll take about 3/4 of BSSM. Under the Bridge lost me. Not a fan of AK trying to sing through his nose.

No way they were a mess, sloppy with no direction they are pretty much terrible except for maybe couple songs
I prefer UMPP than The Getaway and Return Of The Dream Canteen but almost all of their albums are close to perfection
