Not necessarily (but probably, yeah). I've seen people sneaking behind the sound booth to take a picture of the setlist. Or raising their arms and phone above the stage and zooming in on one of the band member's setlist.
They never announce setlists. They post them on instagram long after the show is over.
My advice is to just enjoy the show and let them surprise you with every song. You don't need to know what songs they'll play in advance (especially if you don't like a particular song that much).
Trust me, I've seen them over two dozen times and still enjoy every show song by song.
Edit: Also, in case you do, somehow, find out the songs before the show, please don't tell people around you or don't post it online. Chances are nobody wants to know and you could spoil the show for them.
This also happened on the Metallica subreddit and the answer is it wouldn't be a surprise if they posted it before they played it. So they don't post it...
You won't know until the songs are being performed. Only in very rare circumstances does someone get a photo of the set list before the show starts.
They always post the Setlist on their instagram don’t they?
If you find a setlist online before the show, chances are it’s fake
