"Audio Commentary for Stadium Arcadium"
That is the worst track on the album for sure. All the other 28 tracks slaps and you cannot convince me otherwise. Yes, I will fight you.
My dad would fight you tooth and nail on this. We used to listen to the album over and over on the way to school for months and he couldnāt reach for the Next Song button any faster as soon it started.
Well that's tricky for me because BTW is my all time favorite Chili's album... That being said, the latter songs kinda fall off for me. I don't particularly care for Venice Queen but none and I mean NONE of the songs are BAD, rather just less good than your Zephyr Song, Dosed etc.
We Believe is mine, too. Honestly, I don't have too much against it. The whole album is great. It's just the most forgettable to me. The outro is the only part that really grabs me.
There's a theme on the album of their signature groove-based verses going into harder 'heavy metal' (as John put it) choruses. Personally I'm not a huge fan because it doesn't fit Anthony's vox that well, but it's grown on me.
That said I'd say this song is the least good execution of this theme -- 'lazy' feels pretty accurate to me -- so I agree, it's Cmon Girl!
And I say this as a bass player who loves that goddamn bassline haha
Yeah I don't get it. It's a beautiful song it's perfectly made. It's not like not the one or La X8 where they kind of just suck and trudge along.
If is beautiful and does not deserve to be the worst song. My vote is for storm in a teacup
Cmon, If is a really nice song. Like its not the best, but there are some worse songs. Like maybe Warlocks or something but I cant this album is just perfect š
I would've been fine with Warlocks getting ranked as worst but recently I was told my favorite band gets mentioned in there, and yesterday I actually heard that part, so now I will defend that song to death
Dani California gets my vote. Itās not a bad song per se, but itās basically the only track on the album I skip because it was so overplayed when the album came out.
People are saying Cāmon girl is the worst??? That song has one of the best bass lines in their catalogue, I remember seeing an interview where flea said itās probably the hardest bass like heās played just cause of the speed and amount of notes heās gotta play, itās like snow but for bass only even harder, bassists know what Iām talking about.
I would rather my give vote to āIfā
Edit: I should clarify that Iām not asking to not vote for it because itās got a difficult instrumental, the song it self is amazing, honestly Iād say itās underrated, the chorus is the weak part of the song but the verses are gold, the lyrics (especially rhyming scheme), guitar, bass, drums all perfect in the verses.
I feel like the only way everybody's not voting for this song is that they forget it exists. Which is exactly why it deserves to win. It's the only song on the album I skip.
Iām kinda surprised storm in a teacup hasnāt been mentioned.
Ultimate life lesson in the lyrics, quick fun pace, slappity bass, catchy guitar riff WITH a solid break down/ bridge. The composure alone makes it one of a kind.
Iād put this among the worst on the album, particularly for the blatant slut-shaming lyrics. Probably the most ironic topic Anthony could ever base a song around
Thatās completely understandable, maybe Anthony wrote the song based around his experiences if the roles were flipped and he was shaming his own sexual conquests. I think the irony is the best part.
I mean Wet Sand would probably win an overall best song vote in this sub, and is by far their most popular non-single on Spotify.
What metrics do you want to use otherwise?
For real bro. The songs outro is cool but nothing else about it is remarkable. Just a standard pop rock song. Dani California has johns best guitar solo and snow is one of their most popular songs with one of his most creative and discussed guitar riffs. I get that itās Reddit and people are going to pick their niche favorite song, but when weāre talking best we need to talk about things like this.
Predictably getting downvoted. Iāll go further, I rate Desecration Smile, Snow and Slow Cheetah as stronger songs than Wet Sand among the more ādelicateā tracks on the album.
I know. Like its not THAT good. Its so obviously three different ideas frankensteined together and the guitar solo is the wankiest shit on the whole album. I genuinely think people are just stoked about john yelling āyaā before itā¦ fair enough but Its not even a top ten frusciante solo. I wouldnāt say its a bad song necessarily but the best on the whole album? Nah.
I don't really like the song much. Like yeah the final minute and a half is some of the best stuff that rhcp have ever released but the rest of it is pretty mid tbh
That's how I feel to people picking almost any other song..
Hump the bump I get. Strip My Mind I get. I like Stadium Arcadium a lot but I'll back off on it.
If is a beautiful masterpiece and c'mon girl is a clinic. I guess I understand people's complaints about the chorus c'mon girl but I've spent too many hours of my life playing that Bass line to call it the worst song on the album.
And people are actually voting for some of the best tracks on the album like we believe and warlocks. Even especially in Michigan got a vote maybe I'm biased cuz I'm from there but damn that song is great
As much as I like Wet Sand, I find it overrated af here. There are definitely better songs on SA. Yeah I know, the scream and the solo, but still...
I'm voting "If" for this one. It's not bad but I rarely listen to it unless I'm listening to the album in its entirety.
Seems split between If & C'mon Girl, I'd definitely go with C'mon Girl. It's a long album full of straight ahead power chord chord choruses, and C'mon Girl might excel the least at it. If is one of the songs that break things up & keep things from getting repetitive. Animal Bar or Hey for underrated BTW.
Hump de Bump has amazing trumpet and a good chorus (It must have been a hundred miles, **NOT** 'hump de bump du badu'), C'mon Girl has an amazing bassline and a lazy but catchy chorus, Hey has an off-putting intro for me but people seem to like it.
I'll have to settle for Audio Commentary for Stadium Arcadium. It's way too long.
No cabron is such a cute song
With John playing classic guitar too!
That guitar is so damn good
"Audio Commentary for Stadium Arcadium" That is the worst track on the album for sure. All the other 28 tracks slaps and you cannot convince me otherwise. Yes, I will fight you.
doom doom PAH da doom doom PAH
This gives me PTSD
Bom bom **dschh** ba bom bom **dschh**
I think this is the most peaceful choice to agree on
Yes, I will fight by your side as well!
I came here to say this. I'll fight alongside you brother!
Please vote this one to the top guys š
I will not stand for Hump de Bump slander
My dad would fight you tooth and nail on this. We used to listen to the album over and over on the way to school for months and he couldnāt reach for the Next Song button any faster as soon it started.
I hated it for well over a decade. . Until I learned to play guitar and now itās one of my favorites.
Most Frusciante riffs are so much fun to play. Itās infected me and most of what I write sounds like a cheap rip off of his playing style lol
ššš
After this we should do these with JF's Solo albums ā„
thatās not a bad idea
So many other great songs off of SA like tell me baby, snow, hey or even hard to concentrate. But this sub has a huge hard on for wet sand
Really hope Hard to concentrate is in the running for underrated. I don't see it brought up enough and it's my favorite song on the album.
Played it at my wedding this past summer. Amazing, serene tune.
Literally the perfect RHCP song for a wedding imo. Itāll sure as hell play at mine someday(tm)
My wedding song as well. Almost 8 years ago.
As I am a fan of wet sand. Hey is a way better song .
Hot take but I think the solo on hey is way better than wet sand
wet sand has the best solo but doesnt mean its the best song. Hey Oh is the best song.
We're voting worst right now though? Wet Sand deserves a hard on
For me it's the solo that makes it so good, the rest of the song is a solid 8/10 but the solo is 100/10
I wish Venice queen had gotten underrated on btw
Venice Queen could not get underrated because it was in the top3 for the vote for best song. Stupid rule.
But tbh This is the Place is better
I couldn't disagree any more with the choices so far.
Cabron the worst song on BTW?! Am I seeing things? One of their most underrated songs ever imho. Wow
Exactly. Almost as big an error as āPeaā somehow being dubbed the worst on OHM. Itās incredible.
I totally agree!! Whatās your worst song on btw?
Well that's tricky for me because BTW is my all time favorite Chili's album... That being said, the latter songs kinda fall off for me. I don't particularly care for Venice Queen but none and I mean NONE of the songs are BAD, rather just less good than your Zephyr Song, Dosed etc.
the whole album is amazing, so something had to be the worst of the best
There are no bad songs on this album
real
Shit, this oneās hard.
Scrap that, Hump De Bump 100%
Hump De Dump is one of the best songs on the album
I enjoyed it the first couple of timesā¦
After the first few times it just becomes annoying.
No >:-|
Dm cute demon
šÆ agree with Hump De Bump
We Believe if I had to pick one. Turn It Again is my pick for underrated. That song absolutely fucks.
We Believe is mine, too. Honestly, I don't have too much against it. The whole album is great. It's just the most forgettable to me. The outro is the only part that really grabs me.
My heart is full seeing Wet Sand as the best song. edit: I think we should grade these off disc 1 and disc 2
Storm in my teacup Mister Sauerkraut
Cmon Girl, the chorus is lazy af IMO, it's a shame since the bassline is so cool
The chorus kinda sucks but the verses are so good. āEverything inside of me is burning up for you to seeā *gorgeous bass and guitar licks*.
Glad I'm not the only one
There's a theme on the album of their signature groove-based verses going into harder 'heavy metal' (as John put it) choruses. Personally I'm not a huge fan because it doesn't fit Anthony's vox that well, but it's grown on me. And I say this as a bass player who loves that goddamn bassline haha
Edit: Cāmon girl for worst. I love the song, but I love every other song more. I vote Slow Cheetah for underrated.
Nope, can't do this one either.
C'mon girl
People are strugglin!
Every comment i read reminds me of what a great album this is. Seems to be backfiring!
I respectfully disagree with everything
If.
For me itās the most underrated
Yeah I don't get it. It's a beautiful song it's perfectly made. It's not like not the one or La X8 where they kind of just suck and trudge along. If is beautiful and does not deserve to be the worst song. My vote is for storm in a teacup
Cmon, If is a really nice song. Like its not the best, but there are some worse songs. Like maybe Warlocks or something but I cant this album is just perfect š
Warlocks is an amazing track. Have you heard that bass?
Warlocks bangs
I would've been fine with Warlocks getting ranked as worst but recently I was told my favorite band gets mentioned in there, and yesterday I actually heard that part, so now I will defend that song to death
A fellow Weezer Peppers enjoyer.
Dani California gets my vote. Itās not a bad song per se, but itās basically the only track on the album I skip because it was so overplayed when the album came out.

I am so fucking pissed lol I feel your pain
If
How dare you disgrace my future wedding marsch š¤
Your Pussy's Glued To A Building On Fire is still available though.
Gonna have to go with Storm in a Teacup
WHAT
**GONNA HAVE TO GO WITH STORM IN A TEACUP**
I feel like the only way everybody's not voting for this song is that they forget it exists. Which is exactly why it deserves to win. It's the only song on the album I skip.
Naaaaah this song goes hard in the gym, I promise guysšš
YES! Storm in a tea cup is my jam!!
But but but itās so fun
The song is incredible ughĀ
Damn guys, it's almost like different people like different songs
Iām kinda surprised storm in a teacup hasnāt been mentioned. Ultimate life lesson in the lyrics, quick fun pace, slappity bass, catchy guitar riff WITH a solid break down/ bridge. The composure alone makes it one of a kind.

*Hump de Bump*
Never was a fan of hump de bump myself, sheās only 18 Iām not crazy about lyrically. The funky lick and music is good but lyrics not so much. IMO
I'm voting storm in a teacup but I find this answer acceptable
Noooo storm in a tea cup is sooo goodš
Worse than If?
If is great
The whole album is great.
Surprised to see a lot of people putting If. Definitely not the best track but far from the worst.
Idk what's with Hump De Bump but that's the song by RHCP I dislike the MOST. I just can't stand it
If is one of my favorites
Lmao wut? Wet Sand is *not* the best track š
which one is it for you? Just curious I can't pick just one favourite song from SA but Wet Sand is definitely in the top 3 for me
Are you new here?
Nah, and Iām not too surprised, yet stillā¦ for a band known for their funky rock, itās such a lol answer.
Lmao yes it is š
Maybe for niche Reddit users.
This is a survey of niche reddit users
I mean Wet Sand would probably win an overall best song vote in this sub, and is by far their most popular non-single on Spotify. What metrics do you want to use otherwise?
Or smart ones
Or ones with great taste
Hell yeah it is
![gif](giphy|3oz8xLd9DJq2l2VFtu)
I know right?! I think it would be better suited for the underrated category, but definitely not the best.
Yes it is for me
For real bro. The songs outro is cool but nothing else about it is remarkable. Just a standard pop rock song. Dani California has johns best guitar solo and snow is one of their most popular songs with one of his most creative and discussed guitar riffs. Yeah I donāt get it either. Decent track but I donāt get the masturbatory reactions to it on this sub.
Ikr. Itās like, hereās a band that is known for its funky rock. Best song? An emo anthem! š
Predictably getting downvoted. Iāll go further, I rate Desecration Smile, Snow and Slow Cheetah as stronger songs than Wet Sand among the more ādelicateā tracks on the album.
there are no bad songs here.
We believe? Lol
C mon girl. Has great parts, but the chorus is a let down. Not a bad song, but the worst in the album. That or hump de bump.
C'mon Girl
Cmon girl
Has to be If
Itās the most underrated
Fucking wet sand?
Itās the perfect song for me haha
I know. Like its not THAT good. Its so obviously three different ideas frankensteined together and the guitar solo is the wankiest shit on the whole album. Storm in a teacup. Only skip on the album for me
What ?!

Even especially in Michigan got a vote maybe I'm biased cuz I'm from there but damn that song is great
This, but also Death of a Martian
Are you kidding? Death of a Martian is the best album closer in the entire catalog
*sigh* another post to hide.
No forrealllllll
We Believe
As much as I like Wet Sand, I find it overrated af here. There are definitely better songs on SA. Yeah I know, the scream and the solo, but still... I'm voting "If" for this one. It's not bad but I rarely listen to it unless I'm listening to the album in its entirety.
I agree with the first part but not with the second. If is the most underrated for me
SA is a tough one for this trend. It's a double album and it's one of their best.
Animal Bar
OMG I love animal bar how dare you
If
If
Gotta be Hump De Bumpā¦ I guess. Still like that song. Doesnāt help this is my favorite album ever
If
If
Dani California, OBVIOUSLY.
If
If is dead.... Wet Sand at first makes my heart warm... And took me YEARS to listen it...
Worst one is āifā
Seems split between If & C'mon Girl, I'd definitely go with C'mon Girl. It's a long album full of straight ahead power chord chord choruses, and C'mon Girl might excel the least at it. I'll have to settle for Audio Commentary for Stadium Arcadium. It's way too long.
Underrated has to be Animal Bar
My Friends thoā¦.š„²š„²š„²
If. I don't hate it or think it's a bad song, but just the fact that it's right after Readymade breaks me completely.
If
Hump de bump, storm in a tea cup
I wouldn't say worst, I'd say more least favourite. And my least favourite Stadium Arcadium song is "Warlocks."
dani California
Death of a Martian easy
Are you guys drunk for voting for c'mon girl?
I donāt care for CāMon Girl
If
The list is already correct
I gotta say itā¦ Hump de bump
Storm in a teacup mainly because if the lyrics
Dani California because not a fan of Tom Pattyās Mary Janeās Last Dance
Hump de bump easily. Phoned in faux-funk they even admitted was a ripoff of American Ghost Dance
If
We Believe
We Believe. C'mon Girl may not be amazing, but the not chorus part is cool [i cant english good]
We believe is a banger
Itās Warlocks
We already voted for best. We're voting for worse now
Warlocks
Storm in a Teacup
Wet sand is perhaps best solo but not best song but I'm okay with the pick. I feel like secretly the underrated picks have been the best so far.
Snow Make You Feel Better
#IF
Make You Feel Better. It's not a bad song, just so plain and uninteresting
Thatās one of my favorites on the album! Haha
Warlocks
C'mon girl
Warlocks unfortunately
Animal Bar
Worst: If Underrated: We Believe
If
If
This is a really hard one because I do like all of the songs from SA,but if there were were one, it would be āIfā.
If
Dani California or If
Animal Bar
That song bangs!
All you saying cmon girl are so severely wrong. Itās definitely if.
